Chapter 2: transmigrating into ancient china (1)
As Ming Yue was watching over all the memories, she found many things which would come in 'handy'.
As the memories were too many she kept that aside and regained consciousness. As she opened her eyes, she saw a little girl looking at her with teary eyes. She was wearing a white hanfu with plum top, her hair tied in a half bun secured with a wooden pin, from Ming Yue's memories, She was Mei her personal maid.
Mei was around 15 years whereas she herself was of 14 years. Mei had a milk white skin, round doe eyes, a small round nose and blushed cheeks, she was adorable like a kitten.
As soon as Mei saw Ming Yue wake up she started tearing up,
"wuwuwuuuu... young miss you've finally woke up....everyone especially General *sob sob* were so concerned about you, wuuuuu..."
As she spoke while sobbing she reminded her of Shen Yi, her only family, she suddenly felt sad and felt a year drop from her eye, seeing the tear Mei was panicked and called for the physician immediately.
Mei also informed General about young miss's waking up.
As Ming Yue sat in the bed as she waited for the physician and her 'father' to arrive,
she looked around the room in awe.
The room was two times bigger than her own room, the walls were made of fine timberwood, she had a beautiful drawing on the wall and the floor was made out of exquisite marble with the platform on which her bed was kept. There was a changing screen on the other side of the room and a beautiful courtyard with a pool outside.

It would not be an exaggeration to say that her courtyard was more beautiful than a princesses courtyard. After all, she was really favoured.
Her courtyard's name was Yùlán courtyard, as only her courtyard had Yùlán flower.
As she was 'recalling', the physician and General Ming arrived. Mei placed a thin wet cloth on her wrist and the physician took pulse of her while General sat beside her.
The general asked the physician
"Is she alright?"
"Yes, young miss is fine. But she might suffer from fever and cold for a few days. And also her cultivation ore, it seems like her ore is better than before"
"Thank you, my servant will be seeing you out".
The physician bowed and took his leave.
General faced toward Ming Yue, his eyes misty with utter care , love and concern, though Ming Yue knew it was not for her and for the 'real' Ming Yue, she felt a warm feeling in her chest
'is this the parental love every child gets?'
General Ming then lovingly patted her head, and patiently said
"How are you, Yue Yue?''
Ming Yue didn't know how to properly address according to ancient world but from what she'd known by reading the novel she was in , she awkwardly said
"I am much better now, thank you for your concern father"
"Alright then, you should eat and rest well okay?"
"En, Yue Yue will not worry father"
The General felt strange as Ming Yue always called her daddy, but he reluctantly left Ming Yue to rest for a while, as Ming Yue was lost in her thoughts Lue Yi and her mother Luo Yi came to express their 'concerns'.
A maidservant announced their arrival as Luo Yi and Lue yi entered her chamber, seeing Ming Yue not even showing her courtesy, Luo Yi fumed with anger.
"Ming Yue, how dare you act so impudent before me, you dare not even greet me?"
Ming Yue did not want to argue with her as she just woke up and was parched.
Lue Yi then spoke up to add fuel in the fire,
"How dare a lowly girl like you not reply to mother?! She is the official wife and the mistress of this house. You should respect her!''
After that, Ming Yue opened her mouth slightly, turned towards Mei and said
"Mei I am thirsty "
Mei hurriedly went over to the kitchen to bring some tea and snacks as her young miss just woke up from a three days long rest, she must be hungry.
Ming Yue then turned towards the mother and daughter pair, she had a perfect composure and a calm and dignified air around her with a steady voice she replied
"Yue Yue asks for first miss's forgiveness as Yue Yue is still not feeling well and not in the right health. Yue Yue will not be seeing first miss and first sister off. "
Those words fell off like honey dripping, Ming Yue particularly stressed of first miss showing that she did not recognise Luo Yi as the official wife or the headmistress , she had mesmerizing voice moreover paired with her steadiness .
Luo Yi left some nourishing supplement and left the chamber with her daughter as Ming Yue clearly drove them off, she noticed some change in Ming Yue.
Ming Yue would usually be scared of her and would not even utter a single word in front of her, and if she did speak she would stutter a lot, but today the way Ming Yue spoke with Luo Yi was different, the calmness and steadiness of her voice, the composure she had, everything about her felt different.
Luo Yi did not wanted to visit her but as the official wife she had to do this.
