Chapter 32: Welcome Reception

The next day,

Shen Xueran went to school as usual. But no one came to pick on her today, because there was something more than this going on in the school right now. So everyone got busy with this.

And the person who caused this ruckus was none other than Qiao Jin, on behalf of Fu Jinyan. His cousin sister has transferred into their school today. So this caused a huge commotion for the student's, especially for the female student's of school who were looking forward to seeing her.

'What's going on? Why is everyone so excited?'

'Don't tell me some Superstar is coming to visit our school?'

'I heard that Young Master Fu's cousin sister is going to come in our school today'

'She is the new transfer student!'

Shen Xueran heard their gossip when she was passing by them. She scoffed as she heard them, 'These girls are too naive to see that they are already together. It's just natural for her to befriend her future Sister - in - law!'

Every Female and Male student's was curious about her. So they were waiting for her to arrive, so that they could use her to get close to their dream guy. But what they didn't know was that the girl wasn't someone to get bullied or they can't handle her. The girl would be a cunning child despite her age and looks.

They were very enthusiastically waiting for her arrival. But Shen Xueran wasn't interested in this at all!

On the contrary, today the class was very comfortable as no one came to pick on her. So she completed her classes without any interference and in peace.

Freshman class starts in the afternoon, so they will launch before the freshman students arrive. After that, the seniors of the school had to go to welcome the new students. Shen Xueran won't be at the reception, but she will go to see them anyway.

It was fun to see the nervous students and new faces. Shen Xueran liked to meet with new people, because you can always learn to see things in a different way when you talk and interact with new people. It's fun.

Even in the cafeteria, no one came to disturb Shen Xueran's meal time. So she was very satisfied to enjoy such a peaceful meal today. Because Qiao Jin became polite when he heard about her arrival.

'If everyday they had such an event like this, then I can eat my meal peacefully!' Shen Xueran sighed thinking this after she was done with her meal and taking a rest. Then she slowly got up and left the cafeteria.

As the time arrived, Shen Xueran went out with everyone to see and enjoy the occasion. The students who came in one by one were not that nervous, they were very cheerful as they went inside the hall with the help of senior students.

They looked happy and cheerful as they were chatting and laughing with each other. This reminded Shen Xueran of her comrades in another world when she worked together with her team mates. These memories were very special to Shen Xueran.

Her happy memories, which she enclosed in a beautiful decorated box in her heart, she only opened that box once in a while, when she felt very lonely. These memories cheered her up to become lively as ever.

Today after watching these student's, she again remembered those memories. This made her reveal a gentle smile subconsciously.

At the same time, teachers were also present there to receive the students. Luo Jingcheng was quite annoyed because a bunch of bees were making so much noise, this was disturbing his ears.

'If this goes on, I'll turn into a deaf man very soon'

He didn't like the bustling crowd, he always preferred quiet places. But since this was a request from the Headmaster, he has to come along to show off. Luo Jingcheng was pissed off when he saw the looks on the newcomer girls faces. They were looking at him so intensely.

Luo Jingcheng gave off a murderous aura that put some fear in their head as they looked away. He impatiently looked around when his eyes fell on Shen Xueran. It looks like she was thinking of something pleasant as she was smiling.

Her smile was like a gentle breeze that brushed past his heart, making him calm down a lot. He felt like a lot of stress was gone.

Perhaps even her smile was so infectious that it made him lift up the corners of his mouth slightly. And this made the girls stare at him even more.

'She looks beautiful when she smiles' he thought silently as he stared at her.

As the receptionist, Fu Jinyan suffered even more compared to Luo Jingcheng as the girls were literally eating him with their eyes and sequelling. Fu Jinyan originally didn't have any plan to come as a receptionist, but the plan was changed at the last moment when his uncle told them his decision about his cousin to get transferred to this school.

So Fu Jinyan came to receive her at the reception. and when he was thinking, a car stopped in front of the school gate.

Fu Jinyan already knew who it was, so he went forward to pick her up. As soon as the car stopped, a seemingly 8 - 9 years old girl jumped off of the car as she went towards Fu Jinyan with a face full of smiles.

"Brother…"
