Chapter 13: Emergency Family Meeting
[Rebecca's POV]
Ever since the events of what happened with me and onii-chan, I feel that something is wrong with me.
Every time I am with onii-chan, my heart won't stop beating faster.
It is a suffocating feeling yet I don't hate it. In fact, I felt much more comfortable being that way.
What am I thinking? What is this strange sensation I am feeling whenever onii-chan is around.
Is this what they call love? Eh? Me? loving onii-chan? What the hell! How the heck did this happened?!
Why is that every time he did something stupid ends up changing me on who I am and how I act towards him?!
First was the incident with the stolen panties. I tried to take it back from him at first, but ends up me giving up on his perverted endeavors.
Then there's the incident of father scolding me about the threats on Somar. Father tried to slap me but onii-chan saved me, taking the damage for me. Then afterwards I declared to the family that no one is allowed to hurt him, except me.
And finally, the incident of him and Sylphy being naked. I tried reprimanding him for his actions but end up feeling all lovey dovey over him.
If I tried to summarize of these three incidents in one sentence....
I concluded that I am madly in love of my brother.
Even though I hate to admit it, I guess I couldn't deny it because it was the case.
Hmmmm....
Arrrgh! Dammit! That's it, I have now decided.
I will give my very best to win bother's love and affection more than anything.
I am going to follow his words and decisions, and protect him at all cost, even that cost was me giving up my life away.
Yes, that's right. I will gladly die for him and let him live to see the light of day.
Even it sounds bonkers and ludicrous, but it is the least I can do for him.
Now that I set my objective and goals for myself, I will continue to follow him around without care in the world.
Few more months later, I continued my day-to-day routine in my life.
With the added feature of being affectionate towards onii-chan, I kept on following him around, doing all of the activities with him.
There's also the addition of Sylphy and him being intimate with each other. Whenever I saw them like that, my inner psyche keeps telling me to do something about it.
That gave me brain damage every time I resist the whispers of my mind, but when I did succumb to my inner voice, I did some.... questionable things.
Like that one time when they are sitting too close to each other, my brain triggered and I decided to sit in between them. They were confused on why I did that, but I just said that they don't need to mind me and do whatever they are doing.
It made me look stupid. but it is the price for defending my brother's affection towards me. I must let anyone will take my love for brother away from me, even it is my best friend.
I'm sorry Sylphy, but I won't let you one up me with that cute and innocent look of yours.
Brother is mine and mine alone.

And then one day, the day that everyone is waiting for.
The day that finally came for such a long time of waiting.
The day where mother FINALLY became pregnant.
YES, FINALLY! I am no longer the youngest in the family.
Someone finally takes my place as the youngest sibling. I am an onee-san now!!

Anyway, let get back with the topic.
Yes, it is indeed the day. After a whole year of listening to them moaning and making noises in the night, mother finally conceived a baby in her belly.
"Wow, mom! Congratulation!" I congratulated mother for having a sibling inside her womb.
"Yeah, mother. Congratulation for giving us a new sibling!" onii-chan also congratulated mother.
"Thank you so much, Rudy and Rebecca. I'll do my best to give you two a sibling to join the family" mother cheerfully thanked us in the dining table.
"You did it, Zenith! We finally did it!" father gladly cheered for mother and hugged her.
"Thank you, Paul. Our dear Rudy and Rebecca are now older siblings to our new family member" mother thanked mother and we all merrily laughed in joy at the dining table.
That is, until....
*cough* *cough*
We noticed that Lilia-san is coughing all a sudden. When she looks at her hands, she was terrified.
I looked at it and was shocked to see what is on her palm.
It was blood.
'Wait? What just happened? Why is she coughing blood? Did she eat something ba.... oh... oh no... Oh no... no... no... no... NO! NO! This can't be! Is she...'
"I'm terribly sorry. I think I am pregnant" Lilia said apologetically.
'WHAT? HOW? There's certainly no possible reason for to be pregnant! No one is here dares to intercourse with her....'
I then realized something. Something that made a lot of sense.
No, it is not just me, everyone also realized the reason.
The reason for the event to happen. The true reason for Lilia to be pregnant.
I, no, everyone turned their head to the main perpetrator for the incident. Everyone except for one person...
And that person is...
"I'm sorry! I think that child was probably mine" he finally admits it. The perpetrator himself.
It was father... He's the one who impregnated Lilia.

Suddenly, bloodlust flooded the dining area. The source of the bloodlust came from mother, no, not just her, from me as well.
With the double the amount of bloodlust in the room, it affected all the people in the house. It made everyone in the room to tremble in fear, especially father is sweating profusely from his seat.
Both me and mother stood up from our respective sits and we walked towards the perpetrator.
We both stand in front of him at both sides of him and we glared at him, terrifying him to the point that his soul left his body.
Me and mother both raised our hands in the air and....
*SLAP* *SLAP* *knock out*
We slapped him at both of his cheeks and was knocked out senselessly.
Lilia was shaking in fear on the table while Onii-chan couldn't do anything but just prayed for father's grievance.

[Third POV]
It's cold.
That was the atmosphere that the room where the people of the house are feeling
It's very cold.
Not because of the blizzard that is happening outside of the house, but rather the situation that is happening, which emanates a terrible feeling in the room.
There are currently three people seating at the dining table and it was Zenith and Rebecca on side of the table and Lilia on the other side, who is feeling guilty for what happened.
Both Zenith and Rebecca are contemplating and tried to comprehend the incident carefully.
Meanwhile, Rudeus is peeking his head from the other side of the room.
Near him, was the defeated figure of Paul who is sitting at a table away from the dining area.
"So, what's your plan...Lilia" Zenith was first to initiate the conversation, asking Lilia's plan at hand.
"After assisting with your delivery, I plan to leave the household, madam" Lilia replies, planning to leave after delivering Zenith's child.
"What about my sibling, Lilia-san. What will you do with it?" Rebecca asked, wanting to know what will happen to her supposedly half sibling.
"I'm planning to raise the child in my hometown, master Rebecca" Lilia replies, making Rebecca nodded in understanding.
"Is that so, we respect that decision. However, it seems that a month travel south will affect you quite a lot, even if you use a horse carriage."
"Not only that, the baby will suffer if you collapse on your way there. Will you able to endure such harsh and long journey, Lilia-san?" Rebecca and Zenith explain the predicament of Lilia's decision and asked if she can handle the stress of traveling with a baby with her.
"You're probably right, madam, master. But I have nowhere else to go" Lilia solemnly said.
"Um, sweetie, darling, this is too..." Paul came out from his "detention" table and tried to reason with Zenith and Rebecca. However, he made a grave mistake.
""YOU SHUT UP""
*slam* *SLAM*
*crack*
"Whoops, sorry"
Both Zenith and Rebecca silence Paul as they slam their hands to the table. However, since Rebecca has more superior strength, she made a "small" crack on the table upon impact.
Paul quickly went back to his detention table out of fear and reflect on his mistakes.
Then Rudeus contemplates a bit, trying to solve the main issue.

[Rudeus's POV]
'A month travel, huh. A newborn and the mother traveling alone. I'm not sure if it is safe outside the village, but I guess it is not hopeful enough for them to travel safely.' I thought as I tried to understand the consequence of Lilia's decision.
'Just like what Rebecca said, if Lilia collapse, the baby will surely suffer from their mother's consequence. Even Lilia survives, I don't think the baby will be.' I grimace in frustration on how true that statement was.
'Can a newborn able to endure a month travel south in this particular time of the year? No, it's impossible. There's no way that was the case. I could imagine Lilia collapsing to the snowy path while carrying the baby. Even if either one of them survives, neither will have a happy ending'
As I try to understand the situation, I saw how both Zenith and Rebecca are conflicted to decide if they are willing to make Lilia stay or not.
For Zenith, Lilia is like a sister to her. They're been together in the house and they bond quite well throughout the years.
As for Rebecca, Lilia is like another mother to her. She sees Lilia as a respectful and caring person that is always there for her if she needs assistance or advices.
For the both of them, they don't want Lilia to die in the snow with the baby if they allowed her to leave.
Lilia did a lot of helpful stuffs like arranging the books I read in the study room, giving me a change of clothes and towel after sparring matches, preparing hot water when we are soak in the rain, and giving us fur coats when it was cold nights.
But most importantly, the thing that made me respect Lilia the most,
Was the time when she defused the situation of the Panty incident. If weren't for her there in that moment, Rebecca would have confiscated the panty and probably used it as a bargaining chip for the rest of my life.
Also, because of Lilia's intrusion, it leads to Rebecca being less aggressive and more affectionate towards me to this day. I will remember that moment forever in my heart.
Anyway, I should repay for all of the kindness and helpfulness she did for all these years. I need to fix this situation, right now.
I quickly walked towards the dining table and try to talk things out.... in an innocent and childish way.
"Mother, Rebecca, I am going to have two siblings instead of one, so why is everything feel gloomy here." I act childishly to get their attention.
"Your father and Lilia did something that they shouldn't have"
"Yeah, onii-chan. Father and Lilia-san made a huge mistake that was so detrimental for the family's integrity"
Both Zenith and Rebecca made their stand for the situation at hand.
"Is that so? But I think Lilia-san couldn't say no to father" when I said it, both of them look at me with baffled expression.
"Wait? What do you mean, Rudy?"
"Yeah, onii-chan. Explain yourself"
The two of them demanded me to explain what I meant.
"You see, father has a thing for Lili-san"
""Eh?!"" both of them made a shocked reaction when they heard what I said
"Huh"
"One night, when I was going to the toilet, I passed Lilia's room on my way there. When I did, I heard father saying "If you don't wish for everyone to know about this, just do I as I please and kindly bend over" I explained the situation, but with a hint of lies within them. Zenith couldn't believe what she heard and Rebecca looked at me suspiciously.
"Rudy! What the heck are you-"
""YOU SHUT UP""
*slam* *SLAM*
*creak*
"Whoops, my bad again"
"But that's..." Paul was feeling a bit betrayed at this point.
"Lilia, is what Rudy said was true?" Zenith asked Lilia to verify. However, Lilia shook her head "No, it's not" and she denies the claim.
"Psst, onii-chan. was it really true? Did father actually did it?" Rebecca whispers as she asked me to confirm my claim. Even so, I just put my finger to my mouth to signify that it was all a lie.
When Rebecca saw that, she made a "I see now how it is" face and nodded.
"Well, I think I know how it is now. Lilia-san couldn't say anything she knows, mom" Rebecca plays along and pretends to act her part in the scene.
"I'm afraid that was the case" Zenith agrees to her.
"B-but it's not how... it happens..." the poor figure of Paul slowly weakens and returns to his "detention" table.
'Welp, I'm terribly sorry, Paul. I know that you helped me make up with Sylphy a while back, but this is on you right now. Forgive me, I'll make up with you in some time'
I thought as I prayed internally with my hands clasp. Rebecca snickers at what am I doing, as if she knew what I am thinking about.
"Mother, I think Lilia has nothing to do with all of this, only Father does" I innocently says.
"I guess that's right" "Hmm, I think onii-chan, get a point in this" Both Zenith and Rebecca agree, but only Zenith looks reluctant while Rebecca on the other hand, is just playing along at this point.
"It would not be right if Lilia will also be affected because of father's fault" I push the matter, trying to persuade Zenith.
"You're... right" Zenith was a bit hesitant while Rebecca just nodded in agreement.
Just a little bit more. I need to try harder.
"I spend a lot of good time with Rebecca and Sylphy. It would be nice if the newborn infant has friends to play with, wouldn't it, mother" I persuade even more.
'Y-you're... R-right" At this point, Zenith felt so conflicted and reluctant, but Rebecca just sighs and tries to ease things down by comforting Zenith's back.
Come on. Just one more push. I can do this.
"Also, both of them are my siblings, right mom?"
She grimaces unenthusiastically. Come on, one final push and this will be over soon.
I decided to end this predicament with my final thoughts.
"Mother.... I don't want to say goodbye to both Lilia and the baby yet" I said loud and clear, hoping this will persuade her finally.
She winces as she closed her eyes, but then, she opens her eyes and finally gives in.
"Alright, Rudy. I get it now. You win." she says as she pets my head.
Then she turns her attention to Lilia.
"Lilia, I have decided. You are now staying in this household from now on and you will be a part of the family. I will not let you leave on your own." She declares her final decision.
When she said that, Lilia was utterly shock and Rebecca proudly smiles at the scene.
Well, I think my here is done.
I fixed the problem and successfully hold the family together.
As for Paul, I guess he will work hard to win Zenith's and Rebecca's affection back on his own from now on.
Zenith walks away from the dining table, finishing the emergency family meeting.
I then felt someone tapped my shoulder, I look at the direction where it came from.
It was Rebecca and she looks at me wholeheartedly and smiles proudly.
"Well played, Onii-chan. You did great" she says honorably
She then turns aways and follows Zenith.
'Thanks, Rebecca. I'm satisfied as well'

[Rebecca's POV]
Onii-chan is truly amazing.
Not only he skillfully defused the situation, he also keeps the whole family in place magnificently.
I never knew he could cleverly strategize and plan out the words he is going to say.
I had always seen him just a pervert idiot in the past, but I guess my view on him has really changed.
I will give my outmost respect and dedication towards my brother.
I really mean that, and I will forever will be.
Anyway, now that was settled with. I followed mother to see the perpetrator, which is my idiot father.
We looked at him with eyes of disdain and disappointment. He shudders when two glares are penetrating his very soul.
"We will to talk with this, Paul. Do not think you could get away that easily" mother coldly says
I then decided to add fuel to the fire and say what I have in mind.
"Hey father, if I were to punish you right now, which do you prefer?
The slow and painful kind or the fast and painless kind?" I asked with a bright smile on my face, but my smile doesn't have any happiness within it.
"U-um, the fast and painle-"
"WRONG! You will have the slow and painful kind just to pay for your transgression, dad" I boldly said to him, which made him shrieks in terror.

After an hour of talk and of course, the punishment, father understood his fault and reflects on his action.
As for the talk we had, mother said that she will not going to forgive him, as long as he is not reflected on his fault he had done today. I too don't forgive him, saying that this was his second warning he had done and I will never be going to forgive him if does it in his third and final try.
As for the punishment, well.... let's say that I remembered some Supplex moves from the American wrestling games I used to play in my elementary days and tried it on father for at least an hour.
In the end, we finished the day's event.
Well, not yet.
"Mother, are you here?" onii-chan entered mother's room, which also I am in right now due to certain reasons.
"Yes, Rudy. Come in and take a seat next to Rebecca." she says as she prompts onii-chan to sit next to me.
When he did, I rest my head at his shoulder, which made him blush. Mother giggles at the scene she is seeing, and return to normal in order to start saying something.
"Well, now that we are here, I am pretty sure you know why I called you in my room, right Rudy?" mother starts the conversation by assessing the topic first.
"Yes, you called me here because I have something to say to you, mother" he attentively speaks his reason.
A few minutes earlier, after me and mother talked to father, I told her there's a chance that onii-chan has something to say regarding the things he said earlier in the meeting. She understood and commanded me to summon him to her bedroom.
When mother heard the reason why was called here, she nodded and asked another question.
"Well then, Rudy. Tell me, what do you want to say?" she pushes the matter straight to the point.
"Well, you see, mother. The thing I said earlier about father doing and saying questionable stuffs to Lilia-san were actually a lie. I didn't actually hear or see them doing it. I'm sorry, so don't hate father" he finally admits it towards mother.
<A/N: I don't know if the last part is true if he actually saw them having sex or not. But I just leave it like that because it made more sense to me.>
Mother was surprised that he lied about the things he told earlier. Instead of being angry towards onii-chan, she quite understands onii-chan's intention and nodded in understanding. I too, knew about it earlier as well but I didn't voice it out just in case when things get messy.
"I see how it is. Then I'll give some time to think about it" she declares and both me and Rudeus nodded in unison.
She then looks at us alternatively and placed her hands on our heads. She smiles at us dearly.
"I'm so glad that I am seeing you two grow up so fast. Now that you two will have siblings soon, this makes you two the elder sibling of the family. I can't help myself but to be proud of you two. I am hoping that you two will grow up more and will have your own families soon" she widens her smile when she says that.
But then suddenly,
Her grip on our heads tightens all a sudden and the proud aura was replaced with a bit of bloodlust.
"Of course, I want to remind you two to not become like your scumbag father and marry a lot of wives and husbands, is that clear?" me and onii-chan quickly nodded at her confirmation.
"Especially you, Rebecca. You have to reprimand your future husband if he dares to cheat on you, okay?" mother demanded me to do as she says.
"Y-yes, mom! I will do whatever you say!" I panickily says and she nodded
She then turns to onii-chan and glares at him.
"And as for you, Rudy. Don't be like your father, okay? Marrying a lot of wives is big no, do you understand?"
"Y-yes, mother I will do as you say" he too panickily says
"Fufufu, I see that you and Sylphy are being close lately. I wonder if she will be the only one" mother ponders about onii-chan's future wife.
"Actually, mom. I bet Roxy-san is here ty- Mmph?!" When I voiced out about Roxy to mom, onii-chan quickly covers my mouth to stop talking.
"Ara~ What was it again, sweetie?" mother smiles menacingly again.
'No, it's nothing, mother. She's just saying I liked Master Roxy as a master, that's all!" he hurriedly explains, which made mother giggles again.

Few months later, and it is now the time for the delivery.
Mother is about to give birth and Lilia was there to assist with the birthing.
However, the process is getting difficult, so me, onii-chan and father also helped with the childbirth
Lilia gave us many instructions and we did it quickly as we can.
We brought towels, a bucket of warm water and umm...uhm... I don't know, I'm not a doctor to know about all of these things, so I just followed whatever she instructed.
After several minutes of moving around, mother finally gave birth to a healthy child,
The baby is a girl and she has blond hair like mothers. I look at her and a new feeling wells up within me.
"I'm an onee-san now...." I muttered aimlessly.
Then Lilia groans in pain afterwards, as it is her turn to give birth.
I snapped out of my daze and quickly moved towards Lilia.
Since Lilia was the midwife earlier, we have a big issue because she was the one that we are assisting in giving birth.
I panicked because I am no expert in reproduction. I did learn a bit about reproduction system and how childbirth works in my previous life but that's about it. I don't know on what the fuck I am supposed to do.
Luckily, onii-chan memorized the birthing procedures and he took in charge of pulling the baby out of Lilia's vagina.
He instructed us like how LIlia did earlier, so we complied and promptly moved around to get the stuffs needed.
After several minutes of hard and difficult birthing process, onii-chan finally pulled out the baby safely.
The baby came out as a healthy girl as well, with a red hair like Lilia-san.
We then cleaned up the mess we made and we celebrated the successful birth of the new member of the Greyrat family.
Mother and Lilia have decided to name the blond baby as Norn and the red hair one as Aisha.
'Norn and Aisha, huh? That's sounds great! I like it! Don't worry you two, your onee-san will definitely take care of you very well'
And with that, I finally become an onee-san of the two new siblings
