Chapter 14: New Objectives and New Destination

Today is the last story chapter of the first volume.
So, it will be a long one if I say the least.
However, there is still one more chapter left before moving on to the next volume.

It's been few months since the birth of Norn and Aishia.
Me and onii-chan have been taking care of them since then.
And since winter has already gone, that means another year had passed.
Which means both of us are seven years old now. Just three more years and we will have our 10th birthday celebration soon.
However, that's also means it's another year of still progress in our skills and capabilities.
I mean, I am still doing my daily swordsmanship routine and training exercises very well, but it doesn't mean my swordsmanship is improving at all, only my body composition does.
Onii-chan is also having problems in his magic as well. Ever since Roxy-san left Buena village, his current skill level remains the same for the past two years.
*sigh*
"What's wrong you two? You guys seems acting strange lately" says Sylphy who are watching us two laying down under the tree of the hill.
"Well, we were strange since were born I guess" onii-chan nonchalantly says as he gets up to a sitting position.
"Oi, I'm not strange, onii-chan" I pouted on him for saying something rude. He snickers at my reaction, which I return it with a light jab to his sides.
"Guh" he winces in pain as he flops sideward and landed his head to my chest.
Also, my breast had grown slightly bigger in these past few years. I'd say it's still at the range of A to B cup when I last checked in the bath.
Onii-chan's head seems to be buried at my chest for a while now, so I voiced out something to him.
"Oh my, onii-chan~ How bold of you to rest your head at my breast, hehehe~" I laughed perversely, which I didn't expected it to come out of my mouth. Am I infected or something. What's going on?
*gasp* he then realized his situation and immediately separated from me to get up.
After that, he looks at us panickily, I smugly grinned at him and Sylphy just pouts at the both of us.
"Hmph, you two are being quite intimate, even though you guys are siblings" she enviously says as she keeps her pouting expression.
"Fufu, of course we are. He is my beloved big brother after all" I proudly said as I pump my fist to my chest. Sylphy then rolled her eyes with my boasting.
"Anyway, that's not what I meant I said a while ago. What I mean is that, you two seems to be feeling down lately" Sylphy clearly says, correcting her previous statement.
'Oh, so that's what you meant. Well, you see, me and my brother are feeling down due to our current skill level being stagnated till now" I explained our current situation to Sylphy. However, she doesn't seem to understand and was confused.
"What do you mean? You guys are quite awesomely powerful right now" she compliments us both, but I don't feel quite honored from it.
"Well, for our age that is. But me and Rebecca seems to not progressing in our respective skill sets right now. So, there's not much of a use in this village to help us grow" onii-chan honestly says to Sylphy.
But when Sylphy heard that we are much of a use in the village, she felt uncomfortable for some reason.
"Are you guys going to leave?" she nervously says, wanting to find assurance.
"Well, if put it that way, it might be the ca- Woah!!" when I tried to agree on Sylphy's question, she tackles both me and onii-chan.
"Sylphy?"
"Oi, Sylphy! What the heck? Are you okay?" we look at Sylphy to check what happened to her.
*sniff*
But when I saw her face, I see tears on her eyes. She seems to be about to cry anytime soon.
"Please don't... *sniff* Don't leave me... *hic* You two... *sniff* please, don't leave me... uguuh.. Bweeee~" she tearfully says as she cries and clings to me and onii-chan.
We gently smiled at her and tried to calm her down for a long while.

We then went home after we calmed down Sylphy. We told her that we will stay in the village to stop crying and promised her to be with our side.
However, I feel quite conflicted. How should we progress if we are stuck in this goddamn village.
If only there is a nearby school or dojo somewhere, we would have gone there by now.
Onii-chan said that Roxy-san recommended him to go to the [Ranoa Magic Academy] if he wished to learn more magic. It sounds interesting to go there, but I have heard that you need money to enroll there.
I could lend onii-chan some money I got from my occasional monster salvage during the past few years of defending the village with father, but I don't think it is not quite enough.
'Maybe I should go salvage some more monster parts and sell them in the kingdom.'
When we arrived at the house, we went inside at the front door.
"We're home~" I voiced out my greetings to the people within the house. Onii-chan went upstairs and I went to the kitchen.
"Ah, welcome back you two. How's your day?" mother asked as she is cradling Norn on her arms.
"I guess it's fine. We just had bit of a problem calming Sylphy down a while ago" I said as I reached my hand towards Norn's head and pet her. She seems to like it and I smiled at her.
"Ara? Did something happen with you two and Sylphy?" she asked again and gave Norn to me.
I received Norn and cradle her on my arms as she clings to me.
"Well, you see, mom, we kind of told her that our current skill is not progressing and we want to learn more outside the village. When she heard about it, she cried and won't let us go" I explained to mother while playing with Norn.
'Playing with Norn is quite fun. She's my new favorite little sibling now. Of course, onii-chan is still number one, so Norn is second place to him.'
When mother heard the reason, she nodded and she just watched me while I played with Norn.
"Fufufu, you seem to be liking dear Norn very much. Does this mean that dear Rudy has been replaced?" mother playfully teased.
"Of course not, mom. Onii-chan is still my number one beloved brother, which means that Norn is my second favorite sibling." I corrected mother's statement as I told her that my love for onii-chan will never change.
"Fufu, that does mean my Aishia is third place?" another voice enters the conversation. It was Lilia-okaasan, she approaches us with Aisha strapped with cloth on her back.
That's right, I almost forgot to mention. Ever since Aisha was born, I started to see and call Lilia my mother since Aisha is technically my half-sister.
Lilia-okaasan seems to be reluctant when I call her mother, but I insisted to call her that until she finally gave in.
"Of course, Aisha is third and last place to my love ranking as she is quite cheeky for a little sister" I snorted as I look at Aisha who was at Lilia-okaasan's back.
There's a reason why that was the case.
You see, it started when I tried to carry her one day and she cries whenever I tried to hold her. However, when onii-chan carries her, she giggles and liked being carried by him.
This made me pissed as I feel a burning hatred towards Aisha.
How dare she liked onii-chan more than me. She has the audacity to steal onii-chan's affection from me?
She thinks you're better than me, huh? She thinks her affection towards onii-chan is greater than me?
DREAM ON, SISTER!! MY LOVE FOR ONII-CHAN WILL ALWAYS PREVAILS!!
When the two mothers heard my comment about Aisha, they laughed giddily while Aisha looks at me seriously.
'That's right. Suck it up, little sister. You will never be able to take the love for Onii-chan from me. So, know your place, girl'
As we are talking to each other in the kitchen, father entered the house.
"I'm home" he greeted us three females at the kitchen and we greeted him back.
"Ah, welcome back, dad. Oh? What's do you have on your hand?" I said as I pointed at the scroll he is holding.
"Ah, this? This is a letter from Roxy, she had written a letter for Rudy. I'm going to give it to him. Have you seen him, Rebecca?" he explains the content of the scroll. It seems Roxy decided to check to us after such a long time.
"Is that so? Onii-chan is upstairs in our room. Say father, does she also have written a letter for me too?" I asked as I gave Norn to mother.
"Uum, I don't think so. The deliveryman said it is only for Rudy" he says to me, which made my brows twitched.
"Ahh~ Is that so? Can I accompany you to the bedroom, dad?" I said with a smile with no emotion.
"O-okay"
I then followed father upstairs and went to my bedroom.
When we arrived at the room, I am about to open the door.
But then...
"Sylphy~" a perverted call from onii-chan came from the other side of the room.
*Jealousy switched ON*
A surge of bloodlust came pouring out from my body as I grabbed the door knob and...

[Third POV]
Meanwhile on the other side of the door.
Rudeus is currently daydreaming about Sylphy as he is humping a pillow. He had the thought of taking care Sylphy in the future.
But then....
*SLAM*
*gasp*
"O~NII~CHAAAAAAAAAAN~" an enthusiastic smile was plastered on Rebecca's face. However, she is currently oozing out a lot of bloodlusts.
"EeeeeeeK!!" Rudeus shriek in fear and got off the bed to prostrate to Rebecca. "I'm sorry, Imouto-san!!" and then he apologizes profusely.
"Do you really think you could be all lovey dovey towards my best friend behind my back, don't you?!" she angrily says as she strikes her usual [crossed arms and feet apart] pose.
"Wait, Rebecca! I can explain! Please forgive me" he says as he is waving his hands in denial.
"What's there to explain in this situation, it is already written in perverted idiot face, Hmmph!" she haughtily says as she turns her face away from Rudeus.
Rudeus could only smile wryly at his little sister's reaction. He then stood up from his prostration and walked towards Rebecca.
He then hugged Rebecca, which made her blush heavily.
"There, do you forgive me now?" he says as to try calming Rebecca down.
"Hmph, as long as your love for me is better than anyone else, I will forgive you, baka" she mutters as she also hugged him. Paul just wryly watched his two offspring being intimate for a while.
After few minutes, their hugging session end and they separated.
"Anyway, now that was settled. We have a letter for you, onii-chan. It's from Roxy-san" she then looks at Paul as she prompts him to give the scroll to Rudeus.
Rudeus then received the scroll from Paul and took out the letter inside it.
[ Dear Rudeus,
How have you and Rebecca been since then?
Time sure flies, and it's been two years since I left.
I am currently staying at the Shirone Kingdom right now.
I was hired as a magic tutor of the seventh prince.
The prince her is very similar to you.
Though he is not as talented as you, he is quite smart and able to understand magic
And just like you, he often spies on me changing clothes and steals my panties.
You could say that all men have great lust over women.
Ah yes, I almost forgot, I have finally become a [Water King] mage and able to cast water king ranked magic.
I never thought I could go any further than I am before, but it seems that if you just work a little harder, you will achieve greater heights.
Since it's you Rudy, I bet you are able to master water emperor ranked magic by now.
I'm excited and scared to you guys again,
I'm sure you have work hard to improve your magic and if you have problems in achieving it, you can seek knowledge in Ranoa Magic Academy I had mentioned to you.
Ah yes, how is your sister, Rudy.
Has she ranked up to saint rank in swordsmanship or even higher?
Judging from how fast she is improving, I bet she is able to rank up quickly.

"Well, I'll be damn. Roxy-san finally did it. She ranked up to a [Water King] mage" says Rebecca who also read the letter Rudeus was reading.
"Yeah, it seems that she was also in Shirone Kingdom as well. That is great." Paul also comments as well when he also peeks at the letter.
"Was it really that great?" Rudeus asked if the achievement was that amazing.
"Of course, it is. All around the world, I believed there's only five mages who can cast Water King magic" Paul explains to Rudeus.
"Is that so"
"And Rudy, do you really steal Roxy's panty" he smugly questions Rudeus.
"Yeah, onii-chan, tell him. And also, you really some nerve to take a peek at Roxy, do you, onii-chan?" Rebecca also questions Rudeus.
She then grabbed his shoulders and starts shaking him.
"IT'S UNFAIR, ONII-CHAN! YOU REALLY SAW ROXY-SAN'S NAKED BODY BEFORE? WHY HAVEN'T YOU SEEN MINE YET? YOU BASTARD!!"
"But I had seen it alread-"
"NO! That was long time ago! I don't have assets that time! So, why not now!!" she says as she is about to strip
"Rebecca, stop! Bad girl! No!" Rudeus tried to stop her from stripping her clothes, which unusual for him to do.
Usually, he just let's any women strip naked, but he doesn't want to see her naked for some reason.
He instinctively protects his little sister's image as if he had [already done it before].
Meanwhile, Paul is dumbfounded at the scene and couldn't comprehend the situation in front him.

[Rebecca's POV]
Later that night, me and onii-chan was left in the room. Father left us alone and exited the room a while ago.
We lay down on our own bed and I was about to go to sleep.
"Hey, Rebecca. Can I ask you something?" onii-chan then wanted to ask me something.
"Yes? What is it, Onii-chan?" I answered as I turned my head at his direction.
"Should I enroll in Ranoa Magic Academy? If so, what should I about Sylphy? Should I bring her with me?" he asked a question in which I find irritating. Oh well, it doesn't matter as long as I am with them.
"Well, if you really want to, then try asking father to lend you money to enroll for the both of you" I gave my honest opinion and he nodded at it.
"Then, how about you? What will do if I went to Ranoa with Sylphy?" he asked me again, this time it's about me.
"Of course, I will come as well, but I am not interested to learn any more magic as I already learned much from you, onii-chan. So, I might stay at an inn or rented house of some sort if joined you guys." I say as I stretch my arms.
"Wel, do you think father will agree to what I say?" he was concerned if father agrees or not.
"He should be. I think this is just a simple matter to accept. Although, the price of the enrollment is kind of high though." I honestly said, which made him conflicted with the last part. However, he just nodded in understanding and went back to sleep.

On the next few days,
While we are having breakfast, onii-chan is readying himself to ask father his request.
He looks at me as if he wants my input to initiate the conversation.
*sigh* 'I guess I have to it, huh?'
"Um, father, I think onii-chan has something to request you" I get the attention of father, he looks at me when he noticed me talking to him.
"Nope, not happening"
*smack* *smack*
he declines, which was returned with a smack from mother and Lilia-okaasan. I stood up from my seat, then walk towards his back and smacked him as well.
*smack*
"It's okay, sweetie. You can ask your father anything"
"Yes, just state your wish to husband"
"Don't worry, onii-chan. We got you covered."
We three of us females of the family supported onii-chan in his request.
"How can you three be so insensitive. I just want to te-"
*smack* *smack* *SMACK*
Father slumps at the table due to my "light" smack on the back of his head.
"Go ahead, onii-chan. He'll be listening" I prompt onii-chan to start his request.
"You see, father. I was wondering if you could enroll me in the Ranoa Magic Academy." he request father about the enrollment.
Father woke up from his concussion and ponders for a while, then decided to reply.
"Oh? Do you really want to go to school, huh? You're seem to be quite young for this" he said as he questions onii-chan's decision.
"I know and I will do it. However, when I mentioned that to Sylphy, she cried and doesn't want me to leave" he explained the predicament.
"Ah~ I see that my boy is a lady killer, you are really growing up like me, huh?" he smugly teased onii-chan, which made my brows twitch.
"Grr" I groan in frustration at conversation, which made father shudder.
"Ahem! Well, my solution for this problem is for Sylphy to come with me to enroll in the academy. Of course, Rebecca is also will be there to guard us" onii-chan says his solution and father looks at me, which I respond with me puffing up my chest proudly.
"Oh? Is that so? I decline" he say, finalizing his decision.
*smack*
"Guh! Urgh, dammit Rebecca, could you stop smacking me in the back and go back to your seat. We are having a serious discussion here." he frustratedly complains to my slaps.
"Hmmph, you better have a proper explanation for why you decline onii-chan's request" I haughtily rebuked him and trots back to my seat. Mother and Lilia-okaasan smiles wryly from my action.
*cough* "Well, to begin with, I think it is bit a sudden for you to request that, Rudy. You are still young, even if you can read, write, and can calculate math. So, I guess you're too early for that.
Then there's the money. Paying you is fine, but with Slphy is impossible. Even you, Rebecca, I can't afford to rent a house or inn for you if you come with them. And don't even think on lending them your money, that's yours to spend, not for them" he unreasonably declines to let me lend them my money to them without me talking about it.
"Hmmph, that's not fair" I snorted and looked away. Onii-chan place his hand on my shoulder to calm me down and giggled happily.
"Then, finally, we have your swordsmanship training. We still not done training you with the sword, you requested it long ago, so we are still finishing it till advance." he then finalizing his explanation with the sword training.
"I can help with onii-chan's training. I will teach him all of the sword style I learned by myself" I suggested to father, which made him think about my decision and nodded in understanding.
After hearing father's explanation for his denial to onii-chan's request, onii-chan ponders a bit, thinking of another plan in mind. Just a few seconds later, he looks like he decided on his next move.
"Well then, can I have another request to ask" he then asked father again for another request.
"Sure"
"Can you find me a job? a decent one if you will" he then made a very convincing request to father.
'As expected of onii-chan, what's sounds a good idea'
"A job? What for?" Father seems confused about brother's new request.
"It seems that you have decided to not lend me money nor let me go immediately. So, if you find me a contract job that last for several years until I am ready to go to Ranoa and it should be a job with a decent amount of salary, enough for Sylphy's enrollment and Rebecca's place to stay" he explains clearly to father, which made him suspicious.
"Oh? Do you think earning tuition for Sylphy is good for her? And Rebecca's housing as well. Do you think you could give a place to stay in there?" he interrogates onii-chan if he could do the job for us seriously.
'Hey! Why do you not trust onii-chan if cou-"
"It's okay, Rebecca. Father, I know it would be difficult but I will be the judge to whether if it is hard or not." onii-chan made a stand to father's interrogation in such a cool fashion, as expected of onii-chan.
Then father close his eyes to think and opened it after a few seconds.
"Okay then. I'll find you a job later" father then made his decision to agree with onii-chan's request.
Both me and onii-chan smiled in success.
"Nice one, onii-chan. You did it" I congratulate him for persuading father.
"Hehe, thank you" he thanked me and petted my head.
I then giggled at the comfort of his hand rubbing on my head.

After we have our breakfast, father then went out to find onii-chan a job in the kingdom,
It took a few days of waiting for a respond from father until we received the job onii-chan wanted.
"Hey, Rudy. I found you a job." he came to our room in the early morning with a news we are waiting for.
I lift my head from the bed and ponder for a bit, then realized what father said. I then got up from the bed and rush to wake up, brother.
"Onii-chan, wake up. It's here. The job is here" I shake brother's body for him to wake up. But he didn't wake up from my shake, so I jabbed him at his stomach and which it made him jump in surprise.
"What the heck, Rebecca! Can't you just wake me up normally!" he complained on how I wake him up.
"Hmph, you won't wake up when I shake you, so a punch is the only option I have to wake you up." I snorted at him as rebuke his complaints.
"Urgh, what were you saying again?" he grimaces in pain as he gets up from his bed.
"The job! It's here! Father finally got you a job" I yelled at him as I shake him from his shoulder.
"Alright! I get it! Let me go!" I let him go and faced father who is just watching us.
"Prepare yourselves, you two. Your ride will come soon. Also, Rudy, come see me alone in the garden. Rebecca, stay at the entrance and don't peek" he then ordered us to get dress up for the departure and made a suspicious demand.
*stare*
I stared at father with doubt, which made him uncomfortable and exited the room to escape.
He will definitely be going to do something to onii-chan.
Oh well, I will let it slide for now and prepare myself some clothes to wear.
I scour my drawer to look for decent clothes to wear for the travel,
"Ah hah, found it"
I wore the clothes I picked, which is a white long-sleeved shirt and dark grey blouse and ribbon tie.
I then tied my hair in a twin tail hairstyle using a dark grey ribbon.
I also picked up the teardrop necklace from the table and keep it in my pockets.
After dressing up, I walked out of the room to go downstairs and exit the house.
Once I exited the front door, I noticed a horse carriage coming towards our entrance gate. I then approached the carriage to check what's going on.
Then the carriage stopped moving and the door opened on the back. A huge figure then exited the carriage.
*gasp*
I was surprised on who am I looking at.
The person in question is a tall muscular woman with dark skin and grey hair. She has an eye patch that covers her right eye, a revealing leather outfit that exposed her ripped abs, which has a prominent scar on it, and last of all, she has cat ears and long tail.
All in all, she is a tall muscular cat woman, in my term, a FURRY.
I know I know, she's not exactly a furry, I was joking.
She is actually a beast person. Roxy taught me about this in her lectures long ago.
The beast person noticed me looking at her and approaches me. Then she scrutinized my appearance for a while before finally responding.
"Your battle aura" she finally spoke, though, I don't understand what she meant.
"Excuse me?" I tilted my head in confusion.
"It is unusually strong. Your battle aura that is" she clarify the words she meant.
"Oh, I see. Of course, it is. I trained my whole life to make my battle aura as strong as possible. My father helped me train with swords if may I add." I proudly boast to the beast person, which made her smirk in amusement.
"What's your name miss? My name is Rebecca Greyrat." I introduced myself to the beast person.
"Ghislaine" she introduced herself in just one word. She must be an introvert and doesn't talk much to people.
"Well, Ghislaine-san, are you here to pick us up?" I asked her to verify. She then nodded to my question.
"Just Ghislaine, and yes, I am here to pick up Paul's twin children" she verified my question and I nodded in understanding.
"I see, very well. I am one of the twins you are talking about. The other twin, which is my onii-chan is at the garden talking to father" I explained to Ghislaine who we are and she somewhat understood our words.
"This way, Ghislaine. The garden is over there" I instructed her the direction of the garden and nodded as she followed me on the way there.

[Third POV]
Meanwhile, before Rebecca went outside the house and had talked to Ghislaine, we have both Paul and Rudeus are walking towards the garden.
Then they stopped on a secluded spot of the garden.
"Hey, Rudy. Can I ask you something?" Paul abruptly asked Rudeus a question.
"What is it, father?"
"What if I told you that will going to see Sylphy for a while. What will you feel?" he then asked a very vague question, which shocked Rudeus.
"Of course, I don't want that! Why would you something like that? What's going on?" Rudeus is confused on why would Paul prompt such a question at him.
"Nope! Don't need to ask. You will just talk things out and will take us forever to come to a conclusion" he says as he grabbed Rudeus's clothes and threw him on a distance.
"WOAH!" he exclaims as he flew away from Paul. He then landed roughly and tried to get up.
As he gotten up, he saw Paul charging at him with a wooden sword.
Rudeus then created a stone sword with earth magic and tried to parry the wooden sword.
*clang*
"Oh? You actually blocked that? Haha! That's great. However, your block doesn't have any battle aura in them, so it is quite soft." he mocks Rudeus for the lacking of battle aura in his block.
To begin with, he doesn't have any battle aura at all. He only relied on the application of earth magic to his body and covered his limbs with hard exoskeleton armor.
Rebecca taught him that as his substitute for lacking of battle aura. She said that "if you don't have battle aura, then why not make one with magic instead", that's what she said to him.
Rudeus covered his arm and legs, as well as his head with his new self-created magic [Stone Armor] to add stone protection to his body.
However, the disadvantage of this new magic is that it decreases his mobility. So, he relied on his wind magic as [thrusters] to move around, which also taught by Rebecca.
"Oh, what's this? You're creating a pseudo-armor with magic? That's quite ingenious I might say. Did you invent that yourself?" Paul was surprised with Rudeus's new magic.
"No, I didn't invent this magic, Rebecca did. I must thank her for her smart ideas that improved myself in combat." Rudeus explains as he indirectly thanked Rebecca for the genius idea.
Then the two people locked eyes at each other and take a stance.
After a while, both of them charged towards each other. Paul with his battle aura and Rudeus with his wind magic thrusters.
*clang* *clang* *clang*
Rebecca also taught him to fight bravely, she said to him that cowardly actions is not allowed in the realm of swordsmanship. He must face his opponents head on, even if it will risk your life.
Rudeus took that lesson at heart and bravely fought Paul in a continuous clash of slashes.
However, most of Paul's swings hit the stone armor and chips away most of it., but Rudeus still pushed forward and swing battle aura deprived slashes.
*clang* *clang* *clang*
With Rudeus lack of battle aura and not surprising, lack of stamina as well, he was being pushed back by Paul's superior swordsmanship and strength.
In the end, Paul knocked him out with Water God Style when Rudeus take his one final swing.
"Phew, that was a tough fight. I never knew that you will fight me seriously, Rudy. What the hell did Rebecca taught you, exactly? Meh, no matter. At least that was... dealt.... with.... oh no...." Paul said confidently by soon became uncomfortable and lastly, became terrified because he could feel a bloodlust infused stare behind his back.
He looked back to see a small girl staring at him angrily with her usual [crossed arm and feet apart] pose.
*STARE*
"R-rebecca, it's not what you think!"
*STARE*
"I only did this to knock out, Rudy"
*STARE*
"He is hard to persuade, so knocking him out is my only option!"
*STARE*
"Uguuh, Arggh, Stop staring at me like that! It's freaking me out"
"Hmph, you dare hit onii-chan again without me supervising? This is a violation of our condition, dad. You're clearly breaking it!" Rebecca reprimanded Paul severely, to the point that she made him cry for mercy.
"I'm sorry, Rebecca! This is the least I can do to bring your brother to the carriage without resisting! Please forgive me!" Paul prostrated himself in front of his daughter.
"Oh my, I never expect for you to kneel in front of your own daughter, Paul" says the other voice just came to see the spectacle.
*gasp*
Paul then looked up to see Ghislaine smiling at the scene and Rebecca still mad at him for knocking out Rudeus.
"Wait, no! How? Since how long did you arrived here, Ghislaine?" Paul panickily hide his broken pride from Ghislaine who looks at him in pity.
"I just arrived a few minutes ago. Your daughter surely showed great potential in swordsmanship, Paul" Ghislaine answers Paul's questions and complements Rebecca at the same time.
"Thank you, Ghislaine. That's nice of you to say that. Anyway, about your asking for forgiveness, dad. I will allow it just this once and it will never happen again. This is THE last and final warning, do you understand?" she seriously says in a commanding tone.
"Y-yes! I won't happen again!" Paul saluted to his own daughter, in which she laughs on how dumb that looks on him.
They then packed up Rudeus and Rebecca's stuff and moved Rudeus to the carriage.
As they are packing up, two new figures are approaching the vicinity. It's Sylphy and Rawls.
When Sylphy saw the knocked-out figure of Rudeus, she went berserk and fires a lot of magic spells.
"Woah! Sylphy! Calm down will ya!" Rebecca panickily yells at the berserking Sylphy.
"BWEEEEEEH~ GIVE RUDY BACK! GIVE HIM BACK!! GIVE HIM BACK!! BWEEEEEEH~" Sylphy cries as she wildly fires ice shards and gust of winds at Rebecca and Paul who are parrying theshots with Water God Style.
Then Rebecca charges at Sylphy while evading all of the magic spells she fires. She then sweep kicked Sylphy's feet, making her trip and fall over.
"Wah?!"
Rebecca then grabs Sylphy's arm and pull her towards her, hugging her in the process.
"There, there, Sylphy. It's okay. We're just going to a far place to work, that's all" Rebecca comforts Sylphy down while clings to Rebecca like a cicada.
"Please, don't go *sniif* I don't want to be alone again *sniff* You two are my only friends" Sylphy muffled voice resounds from Rebecca's breast, in which Sylphy's face was buried in.
"Yes, I know. It hurts to see you alone in this village. But we have no choice but move forward to different paths so we can grow, not just in raw strength and skills, but as a person as well. I hope you understand, Sylphy. This is for your own good" Rebecca gently explains to Sylphy who still won't let go.
"NO! I DON'T WANT TO" Sylphy still stubbornly refused.
*sigh* 'I guess I have no choice but to do it.'
"Say, Sylphy, do you like Rudeus, right?" Rebecca asked something abruptly.
"EHH?! Umm, well, I do like him... and... quite a lot actually" Sylphy honestly says her thoughts.
"Ahh~ I see" Rebecca brightly smiled, not really
*Neck chop*
"THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE!!"
"Guh"
"...."
"...."
"...."
"...."
"Just kidding~ Tehe~"
Rebecca jokingly says as she catches the fainted Sylphy. Rebecca used her hands earlier to strike Sylphy's neck, knocking her out in the process.
"Rebecca-san! What did you do to my daughter!" Rawls worriedly yells at Rebecca.
"Relax, I just knock her out and fainted. She's just sleeping now. Here, take her for me" Rebecca gave the unconscious Sylphy to her father and carries her in a princess carry.
"Please tell her when she wakes up that we will come back after five years, untill then, tell her to be strong and brave for us, okay?" Rebecca instructs Rawls to tell Sylphy the words she said.
Rebecca then ponders a bit and took out the teardrop necklace from her pockets.
"Here, give her this. Tell her to keep it and take care of it. Let this necklace as a remembrance from me" Rebecca hands over the necklace to Rawls, which he receives it.
"Well, we're off then. Farewell, Rawls-san" Rebecca then turns around and waves her hands.
"Ah, farewell, Rebecca-san. Till we meet again" Rawls says his last goodbye to Rebecca
She then meets with her mother and Lilia who are carrying Norn and Aisha.
"Take care of yourselves, sweetie. Take care of Rudy for me, okay?" Zenith says her last goodbye
"Yes, mom. Take care of yourselves as well, mom"
"Take care of yourself, master Rebecca" Lilia also says her goodbyes
"Didn't I told you a while back to not call me master anymore. Call me daughter, okay?"
"Very well then. Take care of your, my daughter"
"Umu, that's more like it. Take care of yourself as well Lilia-okaasan" she says her goodbyes to Lilia and then turn heels and walk towards the carriage.
She walks towards the door of the carriage, but...
Before she enters, she looks at the unconscious Sylphy one last time.
'Goodbye Sylphy, my dear best friend. Till we meet again'
She then seated next to her unconscious brother and the carriage moves away from the house and leaves the village.
The carriage heads towards a citadel where they take their job there.
Within the mansion in the citadel waits a young girl.
A girl with fiery red hair and an overbearing attitude.
"Ojousama, the two tutors are about to arrive soon" a cat girl maid informs the arrogant girl
"Hmmph, this better be good this time. I hate those I hate"
Those were the words she says before meeting her new tutors.
'Whoever you are doesn't matter to me, just entertain me if you can'
