Chapter 22: Chapter twenty-two
Anna woke up the next day when she heard the sound of the alarm. She didn't even know she had slept off the day before. She was still thinking of a way to seduce Levi which she was still very embrassed and scared on how to go on it.
She stood up and headed to the bathroom to clean up and brush her teeth. When she was through she applied the cosmetics and deodorant available and wore her clothes. She was already tired of these morning practice she had to have but she was atleast happy about the fact that she could bath and dress herself up.
When she was through she walked out of the room.
As she headed to the dinning to have breakfast before Alicia would come. When she got there she didn't see Levi once again only his brother who she remembered his name as Jeremy.
As she walked towards the table she saw his eyes land on her and he quickly stood to greet her.
"Good morning my lady!"he said with a little bow as he tried to take her hand to kiss it.
She let him as she also curtised to him greeting
"Good morning to you too my Lord!"she said trying as much to speak to them the same way they talked.
They both took there sit as breakfast was served.
Anna looked at him for a while before she decided to just ask him where Levi was even though she didn't want to come off as too clingy to someone who she hadn't really bonded with even though they were so called *mates*.
"May I ask a question my Lord?"she said as politely as she could.
His face rose from his food as he turned to her before nodding.
"Please do you have an idea where prince Levi is? I haven't seen him in a while!"Anna said trying to put her words in the lightest form she could.
Hearing her words a smile broke out on his face as he looked at her.
"He travelled for a while he will be back soon!"Jeremy said trying not to State the real reason for the trip. Anna looked at him for a while before nodding and continued to eat her food.
To be truthful she lost appetite the moment she heard Levi travelled without telling her first. She couldn't understand the hurt feeling that just came to her as tears sting her eyes. She made sure to suck them in and eat her food faster to leave this place. She knew she wasn't acting the nicest to him but she felt she should have atleast been aware shouldn't she? She finally finished eating and stood up carefully before turning to Jeremy.
''Thanks my Lord for keeping my company! I loved the food and enjoyed your company see you later!"Anna said with the most smooth and calm voice she could muster at the point. Before she left Jeremy called her back.
"Wait please!"he said as he stood up and walked over to her.
"Please do not feel angry at Levi! He does this sometimes so do not reason it okay? he still cares about you alot!'' Jeremy said trying to sound all cool and nice.
I knew he was just covering up for his brother. I looked at him and said.....
"I am not sad or upset with him! he is a grown man and he can go wherever he pleases! Now if you would excuse me...have a good day my Lord!" Anna said with a calm yet hard voice as she walked away. She wasn't going to feel bad because of anyone!
