Chapter 5: Quintuplets in Kyoto: Part 3
After the girls came back from the toilet, Levi started to introduce Yotsuba to them. After introduced themself to each other, Levi decided to take a walk back to his classmate with Yotsuba and while they look for her sister because he is pretty much done for stroling around as he smiled contentedly when he saw the photos he had taken, and besides he saw the sun that had started to set on the horizon which mean the night is about to come.
"Thank you~!" Yotsuba said feeling grateful that the boy she just meet before willing to help her.
"Don't mind about it."
In response to her word, Levi just shook his head while feeling not bothered helping her a sightless, besides, it's refreshing to keep fun girls like her around, especially after meeting with a Karen like before.
Coincidentally, on their way they saw a market, so Levi and his girls decided to go there for buying some souvenirs. They then arrived at a gift shop and then Yotsuba used all her money to buy five lucky charms.
"Is thats for your sister?" Nina asked Yotsuba.
"Yup~ with this I hope we can find them soon..." Yotsuba said with a hint of longing in her tone.
As the youngest of the quintuplets, she knew that her family must be extremely worry about her, especially her mother. So with this reminder in mind she decided to buy these lucky charm so she can reunite with them faster!
They gave Yotsuba warm smiles then decided to buy six lucky charms as well, four for them and the remaining two for their mother. Well, these certainly great and heartwarming if not for Tsubakihara's twin that somehow subconsciously forgot about new male member of their family, which was their adoptive brother, Yuuji Tsubakihara.
Before they knew it, they were already so late that their surroundings were now engulfed in darkness. Thankfully from the bright light, Kyōto is much more beautiful at night. When dusk falls, the sprawling metropolis of Kyōto turns into a place of bright light like seeing fireflies in the middle of a forest.
Because Yotsuba still hasn't found her family member yet, they decided to visit the some sort of wishing well to make a wish at there, on their way Yotsuba started to speak more about herself, like; them being poor and her mother had to work hard all by herself to support their family, and how she's feel hurt seeing her mother push herself like that, and sometimes she thinks if she weren't around would her mom's life would be easier?
Levi can understand Yotsuba feeling, because of his previous life all people around him can only view him as annoying trash and useless person cause him being a otaku+chunnibyou and shut-in.
While the atmosphere become somewhat sad as Yotsuba continue to tell the circumstances of her life, suddenly while they were walking Yotsuba spoke from his left "Tell me, am I a burden? am I better not to have existed?"
Looking at her Levi could sigh and thought in his mind '*Sigh* Well, my guess is right this somehow tuned into troublesome situation, but I guess I should cheers her up.'
"Listen Yotsuba... If you still questioning 'are I am a burden?' but you know you're a burden, than yes. You are a burden" Levi's answer surprised his girlfriends also his sister and especially Yotsuba who became the topic of the problem.
Seeing everyone looking at him in disbelief, Levi couldn't help but ask, "What? Did you guys expect I will say sweet words like; I know your feelings, to comfort her?"
Yuki, Yuna and Nina can only look at Levi like he's the worst especially when they see Yotsuba starting to tear up. "Okay okay I will cheer her up cause I'm not done yet so save those tears for later."
"*Cough* Anyway, have you ever thought who gave your mother the strength to keep it up?" Hearing Levi's words Yotsuba could only shake her head in confusion.
Levi then smiled and then countiued. "It's her childrens or in other words you and your sisters. Yotsuba, your mother can push herself like that because she has a family that gives her courage to step forward."
"Besides, instead of thinking whether you're a burden or not isn't it better to think about how we can reduce the burden? Like; studying seriously for appreciate your mother's hard work or just work hard at whatever you're good for."
Hearing that Yotsuna could only standing in awe while looking at Levi and then she started to nodding her head while saying "Thanks Levi... "
"Your welcome~"
After that the sad atmosphere disappeared and was replaced with a happy feeling like before until someone intruped their groub.
"Yotsuba?! What are you doing here? Where are you have been?" An unknown woman called out Yotsuba, what surprised them was that she looked like Yotsuba only much more mature.
"Mother!! What are you doing here!" Yotsuba asked in suprise, not expecting that her mother and her will meet on their way to wishing well. behind her Levi could only nod knowingly when Yotsuba stated that the unknown woman that intruped them was her mother.
"Of coure I'm looking for you! Now let's go back! Your sister is really worried about you, even Nino has been crying since you disappeared!" Her mother shouted worriedly. She then pulled Yotsuba hand to bring her back to their place, but surprisingly Yotsuba resisting her attemp which make a question mark appear above her mother head.
"Umm... mother can I bring my friend over there? They have helped me to find you." Yotsuba asked nervously while glanced at Levi's groub.
As if she just realized that the Yotsuba is with someone else, Yotsuba mother then turned to them then asked.
"Who?"
"Hehe, hello~ my name is Levi." Levi introduced himself with smile on his face.
"Hello, hello, my name is Yuki~!" Yuki waved her hand toward Yotsuba's mother.
"Greeting my name is Nina Tsubakihara" Unlike Yuki, Nina politely introduced herself.
"Uhm... my name is Y-Yuna Tsubakihara..." Yuna, however, not having easy time when introduce herself to new person, so she can only hid behind Nina while her shyness strike again.
"Oh my~ where is my manners. Greeting I am Yostsuba's mother, Rena Nakano" Rena said while covering her mouth with her finger while bowing a little in sign of apologize for not noticing them earlier. She then looking toward her daughter then said "I think it's fine, I also want to show my gratitude to them"
"But Levi don't you think our teacher will worried about us?" Nina asked Levi. Considering it's late at night, so she fear their teacher will think they get kidnapped or get lost, and then started to calling a police.
"Well don't worry I was expecting this to happen so I called our teacher earlier that we would spend the night somewhere else." Yuki said while showing her phone, but when she pointed it out, someone's voice shouted inside the call:
"Yuki comeback now! don't ignore your teacher! if you don't-"
*Tundh* tundh*
"Yep~ we got the permission." She then put her phone in her bag like nothing was happening.
"Thanks Yuki~ I will make sure to reward you later." Levi said to her in gratitude while ignoring the screaming voice in the call just before, because with her actions just now, it will erase almost all the problem they had by at least 90% while at the same time making a new one.
Hearing that Yuki has to fight hard to not grinning before replied.
"I can't wait for that~"
