Chapter 159: The Shitshow Begins(5)
Back with Vanoss and Terrorizer, things were not going well for them. Not only did the Insurgent get destroyed, but they're also in a situation where they can't escape without getting crushed by the Giant Mutant.
"Oh shit..." Terroriser groaned as he slowly got up on his knees. He looks to his side to see Vanoss unconscious and stuck on his seatbelt, leaving him upside down.
The Giant from earlier turned its direction away from Terroriser and to the vehicle that annoyed it to no end. It stomped as it slowly approached the vehicle. Brian frantically crawled towards the wrecked vehicle as he started yelling Vanoss's name.
"EVAN!" Terroriser yelled. "EVAN, YOU IDIOT!! WAKE UP!!"
The Giant stopped, right in front of the vehicle. It lifted its legs with the intent to crush the vehicle and whoever was inside it. Before it could execute, however, a rocket rammed straight to the Giant's head and exploded, leaving it dazed and injured. Brian followed the trail of smoke where the rocket came from, and his gaze fell upon a person, or rather something he didn't expect to see.
"Is that a monkey with a rocket launcher?"
Yes, it's a monkey with a rocket launcher. But the only difference is that it appeared several feet taller than one and has red fur.
"Need any help, Brian?"
Standing behind the monkey was Moo. Behind him were over a dozen monkeys and gorillas, all heavily armed from assault rifles, machine guns, and explosive armaments.
"Fire!"
From Moo's command, all of the Monkeys and Gorillas he tamed unleashed every firepower they had and launched all of the rockets they sent. The rocket came at a blistering speed as it left a trail of smoke from behind. Just as the exact moment when the giant shook himself from the first rocket unharmed, it was instantly barraged by dozens of more rockets and hundreds of high caliber rounds, which created another smoke cloud.
After the smoke cleared for a brief moment, it was revealed that the Giant was still alive. However, its body is filled with injuries and it fell down on one knee.
The moment the Giant collapsed on its knees, Moo hurriedly jumped down from the building and walked towards Terroriser, giving him a helpful hand.
"I saw a monkey with an Ak-47, but an entire army with full military gear is just insane." Terroriser commented before being pulled by Moo.
"Hey, it's a payback for that time earlier," Moo mused.
"Yeah, of course. But second of all, where are the others? Why are you all alone?"
"The others were dealing with an army of zombies back there, and I went ahead to save you and Evan." Moo briefly responded before running towards Vanoss and pulling him out of the vehicle. He then lifted him on his shoulders and walked straight to Terroriser.
"Just by yourself?"
"Yup."
Rumble!
Suddenly, the ground shook below them as the Giant got up from its daze and glared at the two.
"And it's still alive," Moo said.
"Let's get outta here," Terroriser said.
Moo nodded as he was the first to run ahead. Terroriser pulled the turret out of the Insurgent and started firing at the Giant alongside with Moo's army of militant gorillas, while Moo, who was carrying Vanoss by the shoulder, ran away from the battle and Terroriser followed him.
Minutes passed, the two stopped in front of a building before settling Vanoss down, who by then was already awake, and grabbing his Sniper.
"Let's do this," Moo said. "Are you alright staying here?"
"I'll take a Stim. Go ahead," Vanoss said.
"Alright! Let's get back in the fight!" Terroriser yelled as he charged forward.
"LOOK OUT!!" Vanoss yelled as he shoved the closest person near him before he himself dove out of the vehicle's path. Said vehicle was the Banana Bus which zoomed past the group and struck the Giant's other leg, leaving it to timber to the ground. The vehicle spun around as a person stuck his head out.
"What's crackin', bitch?" Wildcat said through the driver's seat.
"Never thought I'd be glad to see you, Tyler," Terroriser said.
"Is it dead now?" Delirious asked through the back seat, referring to the Giant.
"It can't walk or run if that's what you're asking," Terroriser replied. Said Giant was writhing in pain as it tried crawling away, causing Terroriser and several of the other members to look through the windows of the bus. "Alright, before you say anything, reunion later," he added.
"Yeah, right now we need to head back. Who knows if more zombies would spawn," Wildcat said.
A cacophony of howls and yelling filled the air as the group turned to see more blood-thirsty ghouls running towards them. Some even jumped on the wounded Giant and started "merging" with it. Its limbs slowly reforming with every zombie morphing into it.
"There's your answer, man!" Nogla said as he raised his voice.
"Oh. My. God." Vanoss said as he started firing on the horde whilst retreating to his friends.
"Get on the bus! Get on the bus! Get in the fuckin' bus!" Basically yelled.
As Vanoss and the rest dove into the bus, he exclaimed, "Gah! Drive!" Vanoss yelled out. "Fucking Drive!"
"AAAAHHHH!!" Wildcat yelled as he backed away from the horde at high speed until he accidentally ran over some survivors. "Sorry! Sorry!!"
Not before long, the banana bus where the whole group were is getting overwhelmed by hordes of ghouls, so overwhelmed that the bus is stuck in place due to the overwhelming numbers of Ghouls and their unnatural strength.
While Moo's army of militant gorillas were distracting the Giant Mutant, the group's case wasn't that good as their current situation became worse as it is.
"Guys! I think it's time I should use the new weapon!" Terroriser declared.
"The one that could make Ukranians greedy?" Vanoss wondered.
"Yes! But more bloody powerful! So give me a minute to access its system!" Terroriser got to work on trying to connect his new project everyone armed themselves and aimed outside the bus through the window. Nogla laid the Jerry Can on a chair beside him, opting for an Assault Rifle as his main weapon. Howls and Screams echoed as the group began to tense up from the noise.
"Oh shit," Nogla said. "We got company."
Gunshots began as several hordes of ghouls began surrounding the bus once again. Wildcat fired his Desert Eagle the moment a ghoul broke through his window and soon the others began fighting off the horde.
Up above the bus were Terroriser, attaching the Gau-19 turret in the ceiling of the bus and began mowing down the ghouls around the bus, despite his best efforts, they seemed endless.
"If this were Call of Duty zombies, it would've counted as Round 20." Terroriser joked as he fired hundred more rounds in seconds.
"No shit, dude," Vanoss smirked as he fired several rounds before reloading his weapon. With his free hand, Vanoss brings out his Mega AK-47 and rains down the horde with a burst of fire. But still, the numbers were still too many as the amount of bullets he sent were not enough to deal with them all.
"This is a nightmare!" Delirious frighteningly exclaimed as he reloaded his Uzi.
"Suck it up if you have to," Nogla said as he bashed a zombie with a butt of his rifle before firing bullets into it. "We still need more time."
"Brian! How's the progress so far?" Wildcat asked with a frown, looking at Terroriser.
"Doing well. I just need a few more minutes, then we could-"
"Hey guys!"
Marcel cut Terroriser's words off as looked outside the window to see the ghouls running somewhere in the distance.
"Where are they going?"
"Alright everyone, you know the drill!" Wildcat yelled out as the group dispersed and stationed themselves near the windows.
"Do you know what they are doing?" Moo asked.
"Nope, not a thing," Vanoss said.
"Wait, I see something!" Nogla said as his expression changed from worry to horror.
"What'd you see!?" Delirious loudly asked.
Several hundred meters from the group, hordes of ghouls began melding with one another, forming more and more Giant Mutants in the process.
"Uh Brock, remember when I said that we're gonna be boned?" Delirious asked.
"Yeah...?" Moo said, unsure of why Delirious asked.
"Welp, we're definitely boned for real," Delirious moved Moo's sight towards the numerous monstrosities that are moving forward. Moo's jaw fell as he watched more and more Giants appearing.
Behind them was Marcel, who was using Binoculars and caught sight of the Giants. He turned to look at the driver and shouted, "Wildcat, you better drive now! There are no zombies blocking our asses!" he said before turning his gaze at Terroriser, "And you might wanna hurry up, Brian!" he said.
"I'm almost complete. Why're you so jumpy?" Terroriser asked.
"Well, I don't know, maybe it's because of the FUCKING GIANT ZOMBIE ARMY THAT'S APPROACHING US?!" Basically shouted furiously, pointing out to the army of giant zombies made out of zombies, roughly the height of a hundred meters and the magical energy they emanated were now equivalent to Rank 6 to 8, such strength that they doubt that even a nuclear weapon isn't enough to kill one of them.
"Haha, there's at least Thirty of them!" Vanoss said.
"Brian! Are you working your little system or just watching porn?!" Basically yelled out.
"I already am, jackass!" Terroriser yelled back. "What'd you think I'm doing?! Sitting around, dick-fiddling?!!"
A minute passed by as the Giants continued rampaging throughout the 7th city section, looking for any living being that is still alive. Back inside the banana bus, the group continued firing their guns and bombs at the giant, which proved useless. Terroriser continued working on the weapon he tried to activate. Before long, he finished his work and began connecting to its main system.
"Alright, it's done!" Terroriser yelled out to the whole group as they overheard him.
"NOW BRACE YOURSELVES, EVERYONE!"
"What do you mean? And what did you even make, Brian?"
"...Death from Above."
