Chapter 34: The marbles
*Flashback (Chapter 28)*
Minami hid inside one of the shrines that were around the vicinity, peeking outside she could see Muramasa battling the golems while Atalanta was going head-on with Morgan.
'Damn it, she's a strong mage' Minani uttered, she gripped her fist as her magic tattoos showed up around her body.
"Hey…" Matin crawled into the shrine from the other path, showing up behind Minami to take cover from the fight.
"Martin? Great, you're okay, I'm going out… I can't let Mura take that witch all by himself" She said, her tattoos started glowing.
Martin smiled, "I wish I could help but… I'm useless on the battlefield, all I have are these" He brought out a small knife and one merbel rolled out of his pocket.
Minami sighed, "It's cool, I can take her on." She wooshed out of the building, dashing straight toward Muramasa.
She leaped to the sky, landing a huge punch on one of the golems, its head pressed in and a red crystal came floating out.
Muramasa slashed his sword horizontally from a distance and fire slashed out of it, cutting the crystal in two which led to the golem turning to dust.
"Magical attacks don't work on them" Muramasa uttered, "Guess we have to go old school".
He threw his katana to the sky, and when it came falling down she kicked it, sending the blade straight into the second golem's head which destroyed the crystals at once.
"Nice work Mura" Minami smiled while hugging Muramasa from behind.
He immediately grabbed Minami's waist and zoomed off with his sword crashing to the ground, multiple laser beams began falling from the sky and were aimed at their location.
Morgana stood in front of the orphanage home with a smile on her face as she watched, all of them struggling to dodge her attacks.
Atalanta used her arrow to dispute the magic circle that was cashing the rain of laser magic on them.
Landing on the ground, two green arrows appeared on her hand and she placed them in her bow while heading straight for Medusa.
She kept dodging all laser attacks that were aimed at her and this didn't stop her advance toward Medusa.
"With permission from my master, I activate my noble Phantasm.
With my bow and arrows, I respectfully ask for the divine protection of the sun god Apollo and the moon goddess Artemis."
Nocking two arrows, a complaint to the gods, she aims them at the sky as they begin to shine.
"I offer thee this calamity, Phoebus Catastrophe!!!"
She released the arrows at a great enough speed that they pierce through the clouds while leaving behind a glittering trail.
Shortly after, there comes a faint light filling the sky and a sound similar to the falling rain, but instead of it being a rain of water, it was a rain of arrows of light falling onto Morgana like a downpour.
"Damn, beast, know the place" Morgana raised her staff and a barrier appeared in the sky, shielding her from the arrows.
Not long after Morgana was shocked when her barrier started breaking, "This should be impossible" Morgana panicked.
The arrows pierced the shield and rained on her, it showed nothing but destruction while Morgana was being trembled by the arrows.
The Noble Phantasm came to an end and Morgana was on the ground surrounded by rocks and burnt sands.
Morgan's body had been completely destroyed, there was not a part of her body that hadn't been opened up by the blast.
Atalanta didn't plan to stop there, she took slow steps towards her and was getting ready to fire her arrows again.
Before she could take another step, she was suddenly surrounded by marbles and it brought out a barrier that trapped Atalanta in it.
"You still have a few tricks off your sleeves" Atalanta uttered, she moved back and tried using her legs to the barrier but it showed no sign of going down.
Not long after, fug started to cover where Mogana was and when the fug had cleared, Morgana was already gone.
Atalanta clicked her tongue, "The coward runs away with her tail between her legs, pathetic" She uttered.
. . . . .. . .
*Present day*
Saber landed on the floor where Rider was still sealed, "What are you doing?" Saber asked in a cold tone.
Rider gave no response, instead, she just stared at the ground with thoughts running round the place.
Saber sighed, using her blade she shattered the barrier and Rider was free, "How did you get trapped in a barrier?" She asked.
Rider picked up one of the marbles that had yielded it's magic and stood up from the ground, "Hey, Saber, I might be wrong… and I hope I am, but who do we know that uses marbles to fight?" Rider asked.
. . . . . . .
Saber slammed open the door to see Minami and Martin sitting in the sitting room playing a card game.
"Oh Saber, I wondered why the house was so quiet, where did you guys go to?" Minami inquired of.
Saber ignored her, using her legs, she gave Martin a kick to the side which sent him crashing to the wall.
Atalanta abruptly emerged and had her bow and arrow geared toward Saber, "What is the meaning of this-"
Before Atalanta could proceed with her word, Rider materialized behind Atalanta, using her chain to throw down Atlanta to the ground before tying her up.
"Rider!" Minami yelled, "What the hell are you guys doing?" She asked, dropping her coffee on the center table and standing on her feet.
Saber walked toward Martin and held him on the collar before lifting him, "I'm going to ask you this once, Where did you take my master?".
. . . . . .
*Laughs*
"Of all the things I could've seen tonight, I meet this? A female version of me" Goldy laughed, levitating above the city with Gilgamesh in his front.
"What are you a child?" Gil smirked, "There's no way we are anything alike, I wouldn't stoop to cheap tricks like kidnapping one's master" She uttered with her arms tucked.
"So you knew"
"Of course I did, I merely chose not to interfere, you people underestimated him and I'd rather just sit back and watch him destroy you all from the inside" Gil uttered.
"Then why interfere now, perhaps you became weary of my powers and came to beg" Goldy laughed.
Multiple golden portals rose up behind Gil, "You talk too much, draw your sword and let's get this over with".
A lance appeared on Goldy's hand before he whooshed toward her, "Don't her so cocky!" He smirked.
Shiro was still tied up in the cell, his surroundings were so quiet he could hear the dips of water hitting the ground from the entrance.
He slowly opened his eyes when he heard someone walking toward his cell, looking he saw a man dressed in a suit, and behind him were Jessica and Astolfo.
"Son… once again you've fallen straight into my hands.. unpleasant isn't it?"
