Chapter 1: Chapter 1
In a big house, many servants were running around. In a very big room of the house, the cries of a woman could be heard. Many of the servants were panicking as more of the woman's cries they heard. A handsome, blonde and bulky man was pacing outside the room.
"Calm down. Everything will be fine."
Near the man was an old man sitting with a cane in his hand. The old man had white hair but a face without any wrinkles. He had a bulky physique just like the handsome man.
"How can I calm down father? It's been already two hours yet it sounds like there is no progress and which each passing second Carla's cries are getting more painful."
The handsome man told the Old man, his father. His voice kept rising till the servants who were pacing around the room and corridor stopped to look at him.
"What else can you do right now? Sit down and pray that everything goes well. That is the only thing you can do right now." The old man reprimanded his son, Joseph. Though the old man was calm on the outside, he was also worried as much as his son. Joseph also noticed his father's occasionally trembling hands so he forced himself to outwardly act calm and sat down beside his father.
"Have you thought of a name?" The old man, Noah, asked his son, clearly trying to calm his and his son's nerves. Joseph understood his father's intentions so he also went along with the conversation. "If it's a daughter then Stella, if it is a son then Michael." Answered joseph.
"Michael, the strongest of angels huh, but why Stella?" asked the old man. "It was Carla's mother's name. She was the only one who didn't object to our marriage and graced us. She didn't shun Carla yet Carla couldn't see her when she passed away. To honor her I thought of that name. I think it would also make Carla happy." Said joseph after some thinking. "That's good." Said Noah in return.
At the same time, the cries of the woman stopped and the door of the room opened and a maid came out. The maid had a smiling face and announced "It's a boy, my lord". At those words, Joseph was stunned for a moment before jumping into the room at a speed a human was not capable of and arrived before the woman who seemed out of breath, and held her hand to check her condition. The physician seeing this said to joseph "Lady Carla is out of any danger right now and the process of birth went without any complications and the baby is also quite healthy."
Joseph listened to the physician but still ran a check on his wife to assure himself. When he calmed down he noticed something was wrong. And to confirm his hunch the maid said to the physician "Lord Jake, the baby is not crying." Jake, the physician panicked seeing this and hurriedly took the baby from the maid to check his condition. However, before he could check the baby, he happened to catch the baby's expression. He was staring at him like he was trying to figure out where he was and who the person holding him was. Jake was so stumped looking at the baby that he forgot what he had to do. It was then that Joseph's voice brought him out of his reverie. "How is he, uncle Jake? Is there anything wrong with the baby?", to which Jake answered after some hesitation, "No, there is nothing wrong with him and he is healthier than most newborn children but for some reason, he is not crying".
"Where am I? This doesn't look like my room. Where are Chun-woo and Hyun-wa? Who is this woman?" he checked his surroundings but couldn't find the people he was looking for. He was in the embrace of a woman who was looking at him with a worried expression, with a cloth on her head. He checked his surroundings and saw many women in the same attire as the one who was holding her. There were two men, one young and one old, and a woman on the bed. The woman on the bed looked tired and out of breath. The young man was kneeling beside the woman while having a worried look on his face. The old man was saying something to the young man after which the young man considerably heaved a sigh of relief.
It was then he heard something indiscernible from the woman who was holding him. She was saying something to the old man with an urgent and worried tone. After which she passed him to the old man. 'Hmmm…. Who is this old man? Is he the new physician? But he looks mediocre. And why is he looking at me like that? Why is he holding me like that? Pass me back to the woman who was holding me. I'd rather be held by a woman than an old fart like him.' The old man was staring at him and looked lost so he felt somewhat disgusted at the idea of an old man looking at him like that. While he was thinking that he heard the young man beside the woman but he could not tell what the young man was saying. He was asking something from the old man which brought the old man out of his stunned state and he said something to the young man after some hesitation which again he could not understand.
He checked his surroundings but all he could see were women in some weird clothing, the two men, and the tired-looking woman on the bed. One thing he noticed was the interior of the room. It looked fancy and the kind he had never seen before even in the palace of the emperors of Kunlun. Another thing he noticed was that the people in the room were all big, bigger than average. 'Are they giants? No why would giants be here.' It was then that something clicked in his mind. 'Wait a minute! Giant people, small view, a person who looks like a physician, a worried man, and a woman who looks out of breath and tired.' After figuring out all these points it was then that he checked himself, "Fuck I'm the small one here, I'm a baby, a freaking baby".
