Chapter 134: Visit

As it would turn out, Jess was right. I wasn't going to school any time soon. Out of boredom, I eventually attempted to get up, however, I severely underestimated the injuries on my legs.

Despite having the ambition of standing, I could hardly even bend my legs in the first place.

I mean, when I think about it logically, that was fair enough. After all, I broke a damn long fall while carrying two people with just my kneecaps and ankle. In the end, I was bedridden for quite a while.

Apparently, a healing magician would've been able to reduce the healing time to just about a few days. However, Nathan decided that if other people knew I had these injuries, it would be easier to trace what happened back to me.
