Chapter 136: Awkward

The pink figure almost looked like he was on the verge of falling asleep. Though, it didn't look like he was going to fall asleep any time soon. A rather long silence stretched out before I decided to speak up.

"So, what are you trying to do now?"

The pink figure shrugged his shoulders.

"...I don't know."

I took a deep breath.

"Guess while you think of that, I can carry you around. Though, I won't be going anywhere soon, so it won't be very eventful for now."

The pink figure slowly nodded.

"That sounds fine."

I turned to look at it.

"Normally, I would say goodnight, but do you even fall asleep?"

He tilted his head to the side.

"It's not necessary, but I am able to do it."

Hearing that, I nodded.

"Then why don't you get some rest?"

A small smile formed on his face.

"I suppose so. It has been quite a while since I last did that."

I waved one hand lazily in his direction.

"Goodnight then."

"Goodnight."

And with that, the dream suddenly ended.
