Meeting Freya in the Novice Village wasn't able to halt Red in his tracks.
In his last life, her fame was widespread that even Red who was almost working 24 hours a day heard about her. In the game, she was known by her title of 'Goddess of War,' and outside the game, she was the beloved daughter of the current head of the prestigious Levine Clan.
Their clan's ancestor is one of the pioneers that led to the establishment of the Federation. With his strength, Levine's ancestor took down many cities and countless plots of land to be integrated into the Federation. With this achievement, their clan was rewarded with the entirety of City H. They control everything that took place inside the city and was only required to submit taxes every year.
But never once did the Levine clan use this power to take advantage of the people. They adhere to their ancestral teachings of righteousness and integrity. Because of this, not only were they any objections against the jurisdiction of their clan in City H rather, the people welcome their family with open arms.
Back to Freya, it was common knowledge that out of the known Gods at that time, this future Goddess of War was the very first to enter the Overworld. When the game introduced the currency exchange function, Freya was already one of the players at the top of the level rankings.
Capitalizing on this, the Levine clan created the very first player guild. They appointed Freya as the guild leader and let her handle the matters of the guild. By spending enormous manpower and resources provided by the Levine clan, coupled with Freya's overwhelming talent, she managed to make the guild rise to the ranks of all the other guilds worldwide.
"And now she is one of my potential customers!" Red grinned as he rubbed his hands together. If Freya saw him right now, she wouldn't be able to tell that it was the same Orc that made her feel suffocating pressure if not for Red's unique hair color.
But about Freya's reaction, Red knew that it was related to [Deterrence]. Unique skills possessed effects that were not divulged to the player by the system. For his unique skill, [Deterrence] had a hidden effect called [King's Aura]. This effect formed a formless pressure around Red similar to a domain and was the culprit to the dreadful sensation Freya experienced. The only way for Red to control this hidden effect is by leveling up to 50 and undergoing ascension.
Right now Red is headed to a hill at the back of the village. According to the Village Chief, this is where the shaman of the village resided. The shaman was someone who appeared in the village many years ago, the Village Chief didn't know which tribe the shaman came from and only told Red that the shaman possesses unimaginable strength.
In his narration, the shaman was someone who can hasten the growth of the crops with a wave of the hand, produce water from a stick and give life to inanimate objects, the village chief also showed Red a piece of metal that the shaman used to convey his intentions.
Lastly, he warned Red that the shaman was temperamental and very eccentric. The fellow never once stepped out of his residence and would decline any request for a visit.
Regarding the shaman, Red knew from his previous life that this guy was an impostor. He was neither a shaman nor was he proficient in any form of magic. The impostor was merely taking advantage of the Orc's ignorance to use them for his benefit.
What caused the crops to grow faster was a fertilizer spread by the impostor, the stick that produced water was a tube connected to a water container, the inanimate object that came to life was a puppet and the piece of metal boasted by the Village Chief was the same as modern-day smartphones.
Despite knowing the shaman's secret, Red wasn't foolish enough to find trouble with him. The impostor level was as high as 50 and there is no sky where he wins against that with his current strength. The reason he was heading to the shaman's residence was to accept a mission that was related to the Grade S [Berseker] Class.
