Chapter 22: Chapters 22: Kon And Pick
"Pick" picked up the baby, and found out that it was "very heavy", so he told people behind him to pick up the baby.
Then "Pick and his people" went to where the old dragon was.
The "old dragon" is a "sea dragon" and his name is "Kon".
"Why would a dragon live with a mermaid?"
In the past, "Kon" would travel in the "sea and land", unlike normal dragons, "who just lazily sleep".
But "later he became old"
"Kon" didn't focus on cultivation, so he became old early. ( around 400-500 years)
As old people need someone to take care of them, "Kon" thought he needed to.
So, when "Kon" saw "a mermaid clooney" he decided to stay there.
It was beneficial for both the mermaids and Kon. As the mermaids gets the "protection of the dragon" and kon gets mermaids as a servant.
"Pick and his companions" arrived where the dragon was.
"Pick" shouted Kon, we want to know something.
"Kon" came out and he saw "a baby", with white horns, wings, and a tail.
"Pick" took the baby from the other mermaid man's hand and then lifted it. And said "is this baby a dragon?"
"Kon" glanced at the baby and he said No!
"Pick" was disappointed to hear that because of the dragon, they have gotten a large amount of benefits. But "Kon" is old and he will die soon, so if "this baby" would be a dragon, he could raise it and continue to get benefits.
Then "Kon" said, ``I think this baby is a demon or it might be a hybrid".
When "Pick" heard the word demon, he sacredly dropped the baby from his hand.
But nothing happened to the baby, as he was in the water.
"Demons" are also in the sea, like land and they are "pretty dangerous and crazy".
But When "Pick" heard the word hybrid, he repeated the word hybrid?
"Kon" said this baby is not "a pure demon", it is a "mixture of some species".
"Pick" asked which?
"Kon" said I don't know, but it looks like a "demon and a human".
"Pick" said, but "how is this baby able to live in water?''
"Kon" said, ``I don't know. It's "a unique case".
"Pick" said, ``So what should we do? Should we kill him or throw him out?
People behind "Pick" said, clan head we can't throw away this kid, did you forget he will create "a loud noise"?
"Pick" said "Kon" . This kid also has a "super strong voice", and then Pick picked a stone and smashed it on the kid's head. And "Pick and his people" run away very far.
The "baby started crying", and when the dragon heard this loud noise, he said, "Pick you old mermaid". And the dragon runs away too.
"After some time" "the baby" calmed down, and both the "dragon and mermaid" got closer, and then, the dragon said, "throw this kid back to the land".
"Mermaid People" who were following "Pick" agreed too.
