Chapter 26: Casual Girls' Talk

As the broadcast of doomsday disappeared from everyone's devices, Yoo Hana scraped all of the makeup and cosmetic and laid herself bare on top of the comfy sofa that one of the Endorphin H-dolls constructed.

"My throat hurts…"

"That is because you talk as if you want to growl with every word," said Aleph, holding a food box that she cooked in the kitchen near the production area, following the instructions and guide on the internet. "Everyone in the studio admitted that you've done the absolute best of performance in persuading the people of earth.

"In estimation of ten Serotonin H-dolls combined, you might have at least severely influenced 5% people on earth, 17% have been greatly influenced, 20% got normally influenced, and 23% of them minorly influenced with at least 0.2% scared shitless on how come this bald man appeared in their devices without knowing the state of the outside due to the prolonged isolation in their room."

"That is weirdly specific."

"So what are we gonna do next, father?" Aleph opened the food box, as Yoo Hana slouchy leaned towards the smell of the fried rice. "We have around 5 hours and 25 minutes left until midnight. Mother has been increasing the production speed of the H-dolls into massive industrial scale. It's not possible that we might be able to reach 2,000 in numbers when it comes to the available units we can deploy in time of the Apocalypse."

"Well." Yoo Hana picked up the food box of extravagant friend rice of numerous fancy ingredients, talking with full mouth. "Nothing." She swallowed down the food, licking her lips as she donned a playful smirk. "We have been working almost nonstop since the foundation of this base. Any more thinking then my brain would fry just like this delicious fried rice that my daughter prepared for me~

"So yeah, we will be having a break for one hour. Well mostly for you and me, along with Serotonin-1 that's hiding behind this sofa," said Yoo Hana, as she gestured her thumb to the back.

"Ack, I've been found out." Serotonin-1 appeared on the view.

"Father, it is reasonable for you to take a break, but not for me and Serotonin-1." Aleph gave a side eye to Serotonin-1 who acted rather suspiciously. "I'm currently giving a command to ten if not hundreds of squad every second through the Hive-Server, and I would like Serotonin-1's computing power to be allocated somewhere else to maximize the efficiency."

"All of the mobilized squad have a Serotonin model within their ranks, they will do just fine even without your chain of commands, especially from how your mother intricately created their AI~!" Yoo Hana stood up, and forced her small Aleph to sit down on the sofa with her. " Just one hour, let's have our last conversation before everything goes haywire and unthinkable~!"

"Uhm, me too?" Serotonin-1 pointed at itself with its index,

"Yup," Yoo Hana faced Serotonin-1 with the gentlest of smirk.

"I still don't understand." Aleph became fidgety. "We are not humans, we don't need any break."

"That's exactly why~" Yoo Hana put her fingers at the edges of Aleph's silicon lips, drawing to create a smile. "It is because both of you aren't human, that the two of you need to understand how it feels to be regarded as human for an hour. It is essential, to understand the unreasonable nature of humans and their greed for everything." She put on the most charming smile. "Just like how unreasonable my demand is to have both of you talk with me while we can do something else that's more productive~!"

"Isn't that just procrastinating?" said Aleph with half-lidded eyes.

"What else could be more humane than procrastinating~!"

"Uhm, Miss Yoo Hana." Serotonin-1 put on an awkward smile while scratching its cheek with its index. "I understand why Aleph is subjected to it, but why me also?"

"Don't think much about it~!"

"So what are we going to do in this one hour break?" Aleph said while connecting its index to its cranium. "I've sent a queued assembly of command that will automatically be sent to its appointed squad for the next one hour. I'm basically more free than ever now."

"How about talking about time traveling!" Serotonin-1 clasped its clenched hand onto the heel of its palm with an excited expression. "I might only be online for service for less than a day, but there are numerous topics that humans have created that I'm fascinated with!"

"And one of them is time traveling?" Yoo Hana smirked as she gave a side gaze.

Aleph caressed its chin with a serious expression. "I see, so we're going to have a scientific discussion in the name of leisuring."

"Well, it doesn't really need to be scientific." Yoo Hana wryly smirked. "Though, I'm a little bit surprised that you have some sort of will on your own, coded exquisitely into your model."

"Well, it's not only me." Serotonin-1 giggled as she leaned to the back edge of the sofa. "P-1, Dopamine-1, Endorphin-1, Noire-1, everyone in my squad has this human urge to act on something for our own amusement. Things like preference, dislike, and sometimes self-awareness that we are nothing but androids solely built to be the foundation of humanity's survival." Serotonin-1 grinned in an unintendedly wicked way. "At least that's how I interpret it."

"So only the first generation?" Yoo Hana asked. "How about the rest of the generation?"

"They have some of these humanly urges although not in the same intensity as ours."

"It might be because mother accidentally integrated the neural code that she spiritually developed by the influence of the soul, before she became a human," said Aleph. "She might have noticed it after a few more generations and decided to tamper with it to prevent any inconvenience, especially since there will be more than 1,000 H-dolls by the time of the Apocalypse."

"Aww~ you're so smart~" Yoo Hana began to affectionately caress Aleph's hair. "Just like me, for real~!"

"Though, if we are talking about time travel, it must be that, right?" Aleph pointed out with conviction. "Changing the past, fixing human history!"

"Now that's progress~! We're starting to talk like humans now~!"

"You said that as if you're human yourself, Miss Hana." Serotonin-1 wryly laughed. "Though, let's use the time traveling topic as if we're humans talking among ourselves." Serotonin-1 leaned forward to their faces with a grin. "For example, what one would take and not if they are in the possession of a time machine to go back to the past!"

"Well, from a human perspective, it will be shoes obviously." Aleph slightly tilted its head. "Toiletries, clothes, food?"

"Well, depending on how your time machine works, how about a spacesuit~!" said Yoo Hana with a nonchalant smile.

"Spacesuit?"

"Ahaha, why a spacesuit?"

"Because if your time machine works like a teleporter, what do you think is gonna happen when you push the 'go' button?" Yoo Hana held the empty food box and the spoon in each hand. "Let's say you want to pop just five hours back in time before breakfast. Well, the earth is orbiting the sun at about 67 thousand miles an hour."

"I see." Aleph's face changed into that of an enlightened physicist. "So you're not going to materialize at the same place, you need to materialize where your exact location of earth and its surface, angle, and rotation will be in the 5 hours of time in the past!"

Serotonin-1 looked very amused by the direction of the conversation. "So basically, if the time machine pop up at the exact place of your pre-current location, the earth is now 335 thousand miles in front of you."

"That is ignoring the fact that the earth and the sun are also traveling through space together with the entire galaxy~" Yoo Hana then shrugged with this usual super smug face of hers. "And the galaxy is going at about 1.3 million miles an hour, so if you teleport to the past at your former exact location, you will most definitely end up in interstellar space, alone, and dead." Yoo Hana then shouldered her hands on both androids. "And alone, but mostly dead."

"Time machine really needs a lot of calculation to be pulled off, huh." Aleph began to slightly ascend into higher enlightenment with every passing of time within this discussion.

"Well, even if we did happen to have the right numbers to come back to the past safely. What about the air you're displacing when you pop out of nothing~?"

"Ah."

"Ahahah, so there is more."

"A person has a density of about 985 kilograms per meter cubed, and air is about 1.2 kilograms per meter cubed~ So when you arrive, there'll be a huge compression of matter as you materialize, causing at best, a funny whoosh noise." Yoo Hana then straightened up, creating a sphere with her fingers. "And at worst, another amusing touch of, well, you know, nuclear fission~!" She then expanded her hands while imitating the sound of an explosion with her voice.

For the rest one hour of conversation, they all have a surprisingly good amount of fun time.
