Chapter 164: Shaitan’s Treasury
As Dahlia was occupied in her own relatively secluded fight, events on the rest of the battlefield continued to be rather chaotic. The giant arrows never stopped being fired and continued to remain unpredictable, all while Josie and Valentina did their best to combat the more melee focussed opponents. Of the two however, one was having a significantly harder time. While they had intentionally divided their dozen enemies evenly, the Archduchess had received the unfortunate task of fighting a fourth enemy that Sabrina had failed to notice. Not only that, but this appeared to be the Squad's leader and they were certainly not a pushover.

AngelAsphodel It wasn't my proudest chapter because I feel like my explanations were a little bit clunky, but I didn't know how else to describe both Josie's schema as well as the reasoning she kept it secret. It ended up being more exposition-y than I wanted, but what you see already had 2 revisions, so I had to just accept it at some point. I hope you like schema though! I'm planning to play around with unique schemas more going forward, and this was just a taste of that.
In other news, oooooooo spooooookyyyyyy. Empress and archduke are both antagonists???? Who knows~~ As always, I'd love for feedback or to hear your thoughts of that development. Don't worry though, it's not going to just be left there. Next chapter might give a bit more insight.
