It was late in the evening as the caravan slowly pass through the desert of motah.
sedora lay motionless in the cage that looked like a carriage it was getting cold .
The dress she wore before she was kidnapped did little or nothing to shield her from the cold breeze outside she turned to see if the other girls were already asleep but she couldn't see them clearly because it had become too dark she sighed!!!!
"I guess this is my new life now, everything got so bad for me in a blink of an eye I'm sure my father will be looking for me I'll have to stay strong or should I try to run away?" she thought
The carriage stopped the coachman came down to talk to the leader of the slave traders
"Sir, it's getting late let's find a safe place to build a tent and rest my back ache so much," the coachman said.
the slave boss, Lucas glared at him with anger
"Are you that dumb? if we rest now we won't be able to get to the vampire realm by dawn get back to riding that carriage no one is resting until we reach the vampire realm" he said.
The coachman was agape he was tired and hungry if he continued the journey he could die of exhaustion or so he thought he scratched his head and slowly walked back to the carriage he didn't want to ignite the anger of their boss Lucas.
He climbed back and held the reins of the horses but before he could start riding he saw another carriage ahead of them with the king's banner.
" sir Lucas I think we have company," he said as if scared
"Everybody holds your position and stays alert "Lucas shouted
he jumped down from his house all the other men brought out their swords Lucas walked to where the other carriage had stopped he was waiting for someone to come out and dialogue with him because it was the king's banner he knew it was someone from the vampire realm and a significant Person.
the small window by the side of the carriage opened it was dark, Lucas tried to look inside it but he couldn't then he heard a voice that brought fear out of him it was the voice of a woman, he instantly knew who it was.
"princess rena," he said in a terrified voice the hair on his back stood due to fear.
Princess rena was a ruthless vampire known all over the kingdom she was betrothed to king Louis trigon the demon king.
before he could think of anything he heard princess Rena's voice again
"Have you forgotten how to pay your respects? Or are you tired of living?" she said with a sweet voice you would think she was an angel.
Lucas's hands began to tremble and his heart was beating too fast out of fear he quickly went down on his kneels his men all came down from their horses to kneel.
seeing their boss kneel they instantly knew who it was they didn't want to become a scapegoat
" I'm sorry your Highness. I didn't know it was you please spare your humble servant" he cried
"you low lives often forget your place "she hissed and opened the door of the carriage.
Lucas who was kneeling down bent his back for her to use as a stepping stone the moment her feet touched the ground she held her nose she had a very sensitive nose she could smell anything even if it was miles away.
" what's that smell, Lucas?"she said with an irritated voice.
Lucas stood up with his head down looking at his feet.
" your Highness I'm sorry about that, we have been traveling for days and we haven't rested or taken a bath"Lucas said with a voice of a little child .
"do you have the kind of slave that i would like i want to gift something to the king and i want it to be a young girl that has a fresh blood," she said ignoring what Lucas said.
" your Highness I have several girls here to your liking and they are all young," he said opening the cage for princess rena to see the girls.
he hit the side of the cage for the girls to come outside they all stepped outside the cage looking tired and weak with dirt all over their faces.
the little girl among them couldn't stand properly so she just sat on the floor Lucas was now smiling looking at princess rena like he had done a good deed.
Sedora who was now looking puzzled trying to figure out what was happening leaned down to help the little girl stand when the princess's gaze fell on them.
the princess walked to where they stood and took the little girl's arm from sedora.
" what's your name little one? " she asked.
the little girl managed to lift her head up to reply
" rose...Finland "rose stuttered princess rena looked over to where Lucas was standing.
" this one won't make it to the vampire realm, I'll have her instantly if you don't mind Lucas, "she said smiling showing her fangs.
sedora was shocked now realizing that the woman in front of them was a vampire .
" no you can't have her she's just a child, please" sedora shouted.
as she was struggling to drag rose from the vampire princess, one of the men stood up and hit sedora so hard she became unconscious.
Clara and faith covered their mouths with their hands sedora fell flat on the floor the other girls were not shocked because they were used to it and they had accepted their fate.
Princess rena took back rose arm and bite her draining every drop of blood from the little girl life slowly drained from her eyes.
Rose's dead body fell down with a thud everyone was scared and silent except Lucas
" your Highness, which did you pick? " Lucas asked with a wicked grin
" what are their names? Just pick the younger ones I don't have all day "she said.
she brought out a piece of cloth from her dress pocket to clean her blood-stained lips.
" Clara, faith, grace, Gloria, sedora, and Lila. Your Highness "replied Lucas proudly
" bring four of them I'll be taking them with me to the palace through my portal," she said.
Lucas walked back to her carriage feeling satisfied she climbed in.
Lucas and his men drag Clara, Lila, sedora, and faith inside the other carriage as soon as they closed the door of the carriage it vanished.
a small bag filled with gold fell on Lucas's feet he hastily picked it up and looked inside to see that it was filled with gold and showed his men and they shouted in victory happily.
His men instantly regained their energy thinking about what they would do with their share of the money.
" let's continue our journey so we can reach the vampire realm by dawn, so you all can celebrate with women and drinks "Lucas said and climbed his horse.
as soon as his men heard that they jumped on their horses happy and began to ride.
