I slowly open my eyes and tried to standing up and realizes I'm on a large bedroom with medieval furnitures style . a knock was heard and then the door opened.
"Oh, Young Master! you're finally awake." She says in a cheery tone. "How do you feel today's weather? Did you enjoy your sleep?" she asks.
"I'm okay" I tell her and rubs my neck.
"Young Master, Are you hungry? How about some breakfast? I've prepared some food for you. " she said in a gentle tone.
I only answered with a nod and then the maid bows slowly then went out.
'Oi oi, was I teleported in a kingdom?!' I thought.
My mind starts to race with all those questions that i want answers for and soon my stomach started growling.
When I get out of bed i look at myself in the mirror and saw that i'm wearing a green tunic which is covered in a black shirt underneath.
The Maid returns carrying a tray with some fruits and some bread. "Here you go Young Master. Please enjoy your food." and she bow again.
It didn't take long for me to finished my food and start to walk towards the window when i looked outside and noticed that it's snowing.
"I wonder where part of the world am I?" i asked myself while sighing.
"Would you like something else Young Master?" the maid asked again as i was still looking through the window.
"No thank you. Can I ask what is the Month and day we are at? I kind of forget hehehe..." I let out a short laughs.
"Well, The Month is April 25th and its your birthday young master." she says and i just nodded in response.
'Oh, so it's my birthday today huh?' Not a bad day to start.
" I almost forget, Young Master, your Father wishes to see you in the Throne Room."
She bows once more before leaving together.
I just nod and head toward the Throne room with the Maid .
When we arrived, I saw my Dad sitting there drinking tea while watching some papers while reading them from time to time and then i realized i have a feeling I should bow before him .
" The Young Master has arrived, Your Majesty."
the maid said bowing deeply.
Dad turned his head around and saw me. He smiled at me and stood up from his chair, taking two steps in my direction to give me a hug. "Good morning Son." he said making me smile back at him.
He patted my back then told me to grab a seat.
One of the knights gave me a chair, I said 'thank you' to the Knight. the Knight only bowed deeply and went back to his guarding post.
I sitted with father.
"Happy 17th Birthday my dear Son!" dad said smiling broadly.
"Thank you father" I answered as he sat beside me.
After that we both stayed silent enjoying each other company as the servants came to pour tea and bring us some food.
"Today is finally the day that you'll be governing a Village! Congrats to you My Son!"
I could hear excitement in his voice which was making me happy but then i remembered something.
' Since when did i got informed that I will be leading?! I wasnt informed by that god that I'll be leading a Village.!' While I was overthinking with the issue, it's because I don't have any governing skills to begin with!
Suddenly someone knocked on the doors.
"Your Majesty, May we enter?" Another maid's voice came through.
"Yes." my dad replied and the Maid opened the door revealing a man who had dark blue hair and brown eyes. he looked similar to dad except he has light freckles on his face.
"Good Morning Your Majesty.." he said while bowing.
"Ahh, Good morning, What brings you here?" dad asked him.
"We have a delivery from the East village." the man said while pointing towards the direction from which they were coming from.
"Bring it here." he added.
The man quickly went away followed by another servant and returned not too long after and carried a huge box on his hands.
"Your Majesty, It seems to be heavy."
"Of course it's heavy!" My father exclaimed.
"May I open it now, Your Majesty?" the man said.
"Yes, you may." the man opened the box and revealed some items used for leading a Village.
"Your Majesty, these are the supplies Young Master needs for leading a Village."
"These supplies will also help in keeping order among the villagers."
" Ahahaha! This is my present for you given by me and your Mom My Son! I hope you'll be able to manage your Village well !"
"Father! this is really unexpected! And I don't know if i can lead one properly!" i said panicking.
"Ofcourse you can! And remember that it's up to you to lead your Village without me!" Dad said smiling.
"But father!"
"No buts!" He said laughing.
I looked at him thinking hard. What can i do?! What should i do with a Village? What if everyone hates me or wants to harm me or even kill me if they ever find out that i am their leader? I mean what can i even do if I don't even have any knowledge of leading a Village?
And now i'm starting to doubt if i can actually succeed...
I looked back at my Father and then at the things he gave me.
If i can learn how to lead a Village, I would love to have a family. But since i already have one, it's not going to happen. I need to do it alone...
" You'll be leaving the Palace Next week to start your job as a feudal lord in your destined Village!" Father exclaimed.
"Wahahaha! Yes! Thank you so much my dear son!" Dad replied hugging me tightly as tears started falling down from his eyes.
What am I supposed to do!?
As i was walking out of the throne room, my heart felt heavy.
I was very confused on what to do next.
' I hope things get better.' I thought.
