Chapter 9: Heist part 2
Both groups of criminals headed toward the governor building the two teams was diversion and infiltration.
Airchnid was in infiltration team while Vail and shadow striker is in diversion team.
The diversion team arrived at the governors building armed to the teeth and ready to commence they're part of the operation all they have to wait on is Airchnid infiltration team to give them the green light.
Airchnid team Took quite a bit of time to get into position to begin the infiltration of the building but once that is done The diversion team was given the greenlight to go.
Upon receiving the greenlight to go all the transformer criminals began their salt on the building killing several guards and security as that went into the building most of that was handled by the criminal grunts wild the most experienced ones like Vail and shadow striker and a few others stayed in the back of the group acting as the rear guard.
They cannot receive no mistakes on this operation because if this operation was successful it could very well be a Civil War within city between citizens and the city military.
Killing the last of the guards they begin securing the first few floors of the building but that's all they could do they did not have too many criminals with them at most they had a small number 30 criminals total to the diversion team while only about 10 towards the infiltration team.
As more time pass by they got an update from the infiltration team telling them that the resistance security system is proving more difficult but nothing they couldn't handle.
But as they wait more enforcers arrive to apprehend the criminals but both the enforcers and the criminals both know no one's been taken alive everyone came out guns blazing at each other with the full intent of killing each other.
Vail taking cover by one of the pillars inside the building begin firing off shot after shot.
Pew pew pew.
Each of his shots and meeting their mark taken off the heads of several enforcers as they fall to the ground with their own spilled energon on a walk all over the ground.
With his military grade weaponry and combined with his skill focus shot making him a worthy adversary and a nightmare towards the enforcers and morale booster with the criminals on his side.
However shadow striker was not holding back in her own fierce attacks by throwing bombs like their grenades as well as firing from her homemade pistol shooting bolts of energy at the enemy taking down her fair share of enforcers.
The fire fight against both groups ended in less than an hour with the criminals holding the positions while then enforcers that arrived are now all dead on the ground while their heavy transportation vehicle is on fire.
However the criminal group had lost significant numbers from this attack losing a total of 15 of their number while the enemy lost the complete total of 47 that arrived.
Shadow striker seen much of her own group being dead before her optics decides to get an update from the infiltration team to see the progress.
(shadow striker): infiltration team! What is your status are you close to the objective?
(Airchnid): infiltration team here we are making significant progress we're almost to the vault however as we get closer security systems are getting tougher lost two of our team to automatic turrets that were not in the schematics.
Shadow striker taking a minute to absorb the new information didn't like where this was going although it was to be expected from a corrupt bureaucrat that would take the necessary steps to safeguard his interests.
(shadow striker): just be careful on your end we can only hold this position for so long after all you taking this long was not part of the plan but all of us are willing to make the sacrifice so your team can succeed.
There was a long silence after that which leader came a reply from infiltration team.
(Airchnid): make sure you don't die ok.
(Shadow striker): no promises but if I do go down it will be in a blazer of blown up glory ha ha ha!
After that the call ends then shadow striker begins instructing the rest of the remaining criminals to use whatever they could find to continue for fortify their position.
Meanwhile Vail is contemplating The new information he's been given based on the conversation he overheard from the radio between shadow striker and Airchnid and how the security with the infiltration team seems more heavy than what it was giving him a very bad feeling that this will turn into one of those heist movies to wear their plans got leaked to the good guys and said good guys would set up a trap for the bad guys.
He did not like it not one bit but at the same time he had no evidence but he also knows like any other operation whether to be civilian or military operations are bound to go astray the only question is how badly is it gonna be.
At the side of his optics he starts to notice movement from the building next door using the zoom feature he has for his optics he noticed that a enforcer is setting up a sniper.
He also noticed in other parts from the buildings nearby are also other sniper nests that have already been set up so he did the only thing he could do.
(Vail): snipers!!! Stay away from open Spaces and gift to cover!!!
After saying that his shoulders open up revealing the missile batteries from within a second later they start to pop out and begin rapid firing at the nearby building he was close to with the few sniper nest already set up after all he cannot take it easy with a life and death situation snipers.
bboooooommmmmm!!!!!!!
Huge explosions could be heard from all-around bring fire and destruction from the building and killing the snipers within however that set off a chain reaction from the other snipers nearby and begin firing at the criminals in vails squad.
