Chapter 87: 87. Situation at border
Situation was getting worse at the border of the 2 kingdoms: Rhodes and Quire. The casualties were increasing at an alarming rate for kingdom of Rhodes and count of injured soldiers were even more. It seemed like kingdom of Quire was well prepared for this battle in advance as their attack intensity was continuously increasing with time, whereas number of Rhodes soldiers kept decreasing and were waiting for reinforcements to arrive while fighting a defensive battle.
Rhodes soldiers tried backing off a little bit to show their intention for truce, but still Quire soldiers pressed their attack inside the Rhodes kingdom.
"Are you really looking for an all out battle?!" roared the general of Rhodes army who was a mid-tier knight.
"Now you are blaming us for this?! Who were the ones to initiate the attack first?! Are we supposed to just back off after your people ruthlessly killed my people then decided to go back?!" said the general of Quire kingdom with an evil smirk.
"We all know what actually happened back then, so why don't you cut your acting and state what your people actually want! Your side has already killed twice as many compared to my soldiers, what more do you want?!"
"Hmph! We won't stop until you guys surrender or until we are satisfied with our revenge."
"Impossible! Do you really think kingdom of Rhodes will actually surrendered to the likes of you! Just wait for our reinforcements to arrive, then we will once again roll over your kingdom like we did 35 years ago!"
Hearing this an evil smile came to the general of kingdom of Quire and he said
"Do you really think your trash kingdom defeated us 35 years ago? Haha that is the joke of the century. I saw that fire princess in the backlines today on your side too scared to attack us and went back to your camp in fear like a scared little girl, why don't you go ask her what actually happened in the Quire kingdom 35 years ago?"
"You bastard how dare you insult our headmistress like that! She is not attacking because she doesn't want to initiate an all out battle between our kingdoms! Everyone attack!"
"Yes!"
Once again two sides clashed with full force which Quire kingdom wanted, even though the orders for Rhodes soldiers were to fight a defensive battle and not go all out until the reinforcements arrive.
There were some messengers going back and forth from battlefield to camp on kingdom of Rhodes side and when the next messenger arrived and told headmistress the situation she clenched her hands and bit her lips.
'How does that puny bastard know what happened last 35 years ago?!' thought headmistress.
"Order our soldiers to back off and only fight a defensive battle until reinforcements arrives! Otherwise I will personally punish each and every one of them!" ordered headmistress while healing a patient.
"Yes headmistress right away" said the messenger and went to the battlefield to convey her orders.
Headmistress sighed and continued healing her patients.
'This could be the end for our kingdom if we don't find a way to stop this pointless war' thinking about what happened 35 years ago headmistress' body shivered and a sad expression came to her face.
'If things escalate I will ask Andy to pick his family and leave this country'

After a few hours Andy finally arrived to the military camp near the border and showed the letter to patrol guard which Elenor gave him and he let him though. Once he entered inside the main healing camp he saw blood everywhere and there were many critically injured soldiers lying there who were not getting any treatment since the healers were very limited and they were all busy.
"Thank god you are here Andy, quickly can you look at the patients in section B, they are the once whom even I can't treat quickly and are on verge of death." asked headmistress with a tone of urgency.
But Andy didn't go to section B immediately and went near Elenor and hugged her, seeing which every soldier's and healer's eyes widened.
"Elenor how are you doing?" asked Andy gently.
Headmistress' body shook when Andy embraced her and her eyes became slightly wet.
"I am fine Andy, quick go to section B they need your help... And thank you"
"You never have to thank me for such trivial things, I will go to section B now"
"Hmm" headmistress nodded cutely.
"What are you guys staring at me for! Are all your patients already healed?!!" scolded headmistress.
"S-Sorry headmistress" said other healers and got back to their job.
When Andy reached the section B, he saw that there were around 100 soldiers lying there, but there was no healer in this section tending to these soldiers as they were assumed to be the lost cause. He immediately activated his [Healer's Eyes] and looked around to find the most critical ones, but after activating his skill be bit his lips.
'34 of them are already brain dead and 8 people's heart already stopped, but at least their brain is still alive. I need to quickly heal those 8 patients first'
Then he went to each of those patients one by one and used [Essence Heal] to heal them, he also wiped their memory so they don't remember how someone healed them miraculously and put them to sleep for 30 minutes.
It took him only a minute to heal all the patients then we went back to the main healing camp.
"Why are you back so soon, do you need any assistance there in section B, I can send someone with you" asked Elenor
"No, I already healed them all.. except for 34 soldiers who were already dead. They should wake up in about 30 minutes, let them rest till then."

Elenor didn't say anything as she remembered he could create top-tier health potion and assumed he used them to heal these soldiers. She was really thankful he used such a treasure for healing the low-tier and mid-tier soldiers. Usually they wouldn't even get high-tier health potion let alone top-tier potion.
"Can I help with anything else here?" asked Andy which brought Elenor back to reality.
"Yes, can you look at the critically injured patients here? Here we have a lot more patients compared to section B, but their condition is not as bad as them."
"Yes right away" said Andy and started healing patients in the main healing camp. But this time he was more careful and took out a potion bottle for each patient which contained.. water and shoved it down their throat and used [Essence Heal] to heal them.
Within 5 minutes all the patients were healed and all the healers present were looking at Andy with wide eyes thinking
'Just how many high-tier potions does this guy have?!'
Elenor was also looking at Andy with eyes filled with gratitude and pride. She was going to ask Andy take some rest, but then he said
"Elenor, let's go and check the condition at the border"
"What?!" asked Elenor in shock, there was no way she was going to put Andy in so much danger.
