Chapter 90: Oh, You Idiot!

"Why didn't I talk to the girl?..."

"Why would I? I'm not interested.", says Ryan to Leroy, coming to an abrupt stop in front of his classroom.

'What?...', questions Leroy's brain in abject shock and wonder.

It sounded like Ryan had just said he was not interested in Goldie!

'Not interested in Goldie Markell? How could that be?'

Yet stuck in wonder, Leroy distractedly takes a step further and bumps into Ryan who had stopped ahead of him earlier.

The sudden hit helps his brain come out of its reverie as he comes to an awareness of his surroundings.

"Ah!", he winces from the accidental collision.

Looking up, Leroy spots the gold description plate above the class door as it glimmers a bold "CLASS 12 A" showing Leroy that they had already arrived at Ryan's stop.

'Oh…', murmurs Leroy as he finally realises why Ryan had abruptly stopped walking.
