Chapter 38: Information
Flipping the page to the other side, Alexander found the message that he was looking for.
[The Duke of Entropy characteristic may be unsealed due to some unexpected circumstances.
It won't affect you negatively, but you will be able to answer prayers as if you were a Sequence 2 Beyonder.

As expected, his past self had actually reminded him about the Duke of Entropy characteristic.
Alexander quickly realized the uses of answering prayers.
He could take the Klein route and be a god, a pope and a believer at the same time.
He aready had the prototype of his own church.
Lighting the page on fire, Alexander picked Luna up with his two hands and put her in front of him.
"Is there anything else?", he asked in a serious tone.
Luna looked at him weirdly, before shaking her head and continuing licking her paws.
'If you are going to send me a letter, you might as well write the formulas for my pathway.', Alexander couldn't help but complain.
Although he tried to find clues in both reality and the simulation, he had yet to find information regarding the Baron of Corruption formula.
Obviously, Bernadette wasn't too pleased with himself, meaning that he wouldn't be able to get his hands on the Black Emperor Card of Blasphemy.
The next morning, a carriage stopped in front of an auction-like building.
A young man got off the carriage and walked to the building's entrance.
This young man was obviously Alexander.
After reading his past life's reminder, coupled with the results of past simulations, Alexander decided to try his luck in the Nemesis Order.
No matter what, he didn't have any other channel to obtain the formula he needed.
Entering the building, the blonde young lady appeared in front of him once again.
Although Alexander hadn't visited for some time, he had become pretty familiar with this sight.
"Good evening, are you already a member or do you want to sign up?", the young lady asked in a mechanical voice.
"I'm already a member.", he answered and took his membership card out.
The lady took his card, seemed to look at something on her left, and then pressed her left hand on the card.
Instantly, the card changed from golden to a light purple color.
"We've noticed that you have been promoted to a Sequence 7 Beyonder."
"Your status as a member has been upgraded to Tier 2."
"You now have the ability to accept more commissions and buy information regarding the extraordinary.", the lady explained while giving him back the card.
"If you want to buy information, you can do so by opening this book.", she said and pointed to a heavy book with a wood-like brown cover.
Looking at the card in his hand, Alexander couldn't see any difference apart from its color.
Reading his code name, he praised himself for his wit.
No one would realize that it was him.
Storing it in his pocket, Alexander moved closer to the counter and picked up the commission booklet.
Its contents hadn't changed by much, with the only difference being that he could now accept commissions regarding Sequence 5 Beyonders.
What piqued his interest however was the book that was next to him.
Putting the booklet down, he attempted to pick up the brown book.
Just as he touched it however, he felt the familiar feeling of being teleported.
Opening his eyes again, he found himself standing in the center of another room.
The room was empty, with only 4 bookcases standing against the room's wall.
The bookcases were filled with books and pieces of paper.
As Alexander was having doubts about what happened, information passed to his mind.
The books on the bookcases contained different information, with each bookcase having a different subject.
Intel, Organizations and Pathways, History and finally Mysticism.
The last three of the subjects were self explanatory, while the 'Intel' subject was information regarding current events.
Moving closer to the Organizations and Pathways bookcase, the titles of the books became clear in his eyes.
'Church of the Evernight Goddess'
'Church of the Lord of the Storm'
'Rose School of Thought'
..
Alexander didn't care about those, but one of the books caught his attention.
'Silver Moon Society'
Taking it off the shelf, Alexander started reading through its contents.
Much of the information was blurred, making Alexander guess that he couldn't access it yet.
This didn't stop him however, from learning things he didn't know.
The Silver Moon Society was an organization founded in the late 4th Epoch.
Its members believed that the Moon was the start and end of everything and it would eventually descend on the world to bring freedom to its children.
The stance of the orthodox churches towards this organization was similar to that towards the Rose School of Thought.
What alerted Alexander was that apart from the Moon and Mother pathways, the Silver Moon Society had members of the Justiciar and the Black Emperor pathway.
If he didn't know any better, he would think that it was just a coincidence, but with his current knowledge he could guess something.
This should be an attempt of the Mother Goddess of Depravity to control his current pathway.
Putting the book back, Alexander walked back to the center of the room and was teleported back.
"The information you purchased costs 3000 pounds."
"You can revisit the books you've already purchased and learn more information once you've upgraded your membership card."
"Of course, you'll have to pay an additional price for the information.", the young lady's voice sounded in his ears.
Alexander didn't care about the price and quickly paid, but he felt that paying after you learnt the information wasn't exactly a good business model.
On second thought though, if you couldn't pay, you would probably have to offer your own characteristic.
