Chapter 2: That Time I Got Reincarnated... (1) - 1
Three Years Later:
I fucking hate this dumb fucking body.
'When I asked for you to randomize my appearance, I didn't mean for you to make me androgynous!'
Yelling at Rob, knowing that he would hear me anyways, I could only sigh.
I mean, I had the genitals of a male, but I could already see that my belly had no chance of getting abs, and the chance that I could even obtain pecs, well, that was even lower.
The worst part was my face though, a face so beautiful in which one would definitely think that I was a girl.
This combined with my soft, high pitched voice... well, I was just a baby, let's not make too many assumptions yet.
Now, onto the family that I had been reincarnated into.
Well, when I came to, after a year had already passed, as my baby mind hadn't been able to support the entirety of my memories at the time, I had found myself on the streets, with no house or family to support me.
But, it seemed like I at least had an "aunt" or something, as there was this beautiful young women that carried my around all day long, whilst doing menial work to make enough money to feed the both of us.
And, she was powerful too, as whenever some unsavories came near us, trying to rope her in, she would always release this immense pressure on them that brought them to their knees.
She was also, for some reason, always saying "sorry" to me, as she looked at the sorry state of our living quarters, being just the end of an alleyway in the middle of the slums of the city.
Yet, to me, she was probably the best mother I had ever had.
Back in my old life, my parents had regularly abused both me and my sister, so it was refreshing, to say the least, that I had my Aunt, who I had just celebrated my third birthday with.
It was an extremely modest celebration, with only a small cupcake and a "candle", which was actually a flame that she materialized on her finger.
But, the most important part was what happened after the celebration.
She had started going into a long rant about my finally, and why we were in the situation that we were in.
Obviously thinking that I wouldn't understand anything, she told me the entire truth without leaving in a single lie.
And, well, what do you know? I was actually Mellisa Hall's half sibling.
You see, Octavius Hall had once, when he was young, injected his seed into another woman.
Yet, the funny thing was that his seed had never fertilized the woman for a good few years, still staying alive in her womb due to his immense power and life energy.
So, the woman's egg had only been fertilized a few years after she spent the night with Octavius, but the woman, not fully knowing it was Octavius' child, had just treated the pregnancy like normal.
But then, she had died giving birth to me.
And, well, when the doctors had tested my blood to find the father of the child, well, let's just say that Octavius wanted nothing to do with me, as I was a child that came from a one night stand with a random lady that he had met almost a decade ago.
But, feeling bad, he had paid for a nurse to breast feed me, before assigning my aunt to watch over me.
Then he left, as if nothing had ever happened, fully expunging both my and my aunt's records from any database.
And that was how we got here today.
Yet, it seemed like my Aunt had to leave soon.
She was, after all, an employee of the Hall family, and her orders had been to raise me for only 3 years, before coming back to the family whilst forcing me to live on the streets myself.
Honestly, although I held a certain affection towards my Aunt, I understood her, and I would never feel animosity for her for leaving me here.
After all, now, I could build up an empire from the ashes.
