Chapter 5: Co incidence.
"Dad was the one who brought us up because mom died during the delivery of him, he was my younger brother,my best friend",Roby said in a totally broken voice while Zen was looking at him with innocence,he continued,"but you know what it wasn't our fate to live together for long time that's why he left me and dad alone like this".
"I-I'm sorry but,What happened to him?",Zen asked holding his tears back.Roby looked at him straight into his eyes and replied,"h-he... he died in a car accident,he was coming back from his coaching classes a truck driver who was drunk crashed his car and he-he met that accident and left-left me alone".
After a few minutes silence he again continued "The day when I saw you for the first time I thought I met Harry and today when I saw you in that condition I just remembered him and my whole body started shivering I felt like my own brother was in that condition,I'm sorry if you're feeling like I'm being very close to you".
A drop of tear came out from Zen's eye,he was just looking at him like a cute little kitten with teary eye's and all of a sudden Roby stood up Zen held his hand and hugged him.Roby smiled a little and then he patted his back to comfort him.Zen broke the hug and asked him to sit on bed they both sat on his bed Zen was looking at Roby with puppy eye's because of the emotions he had for him.
"I'm the only child of my parents,but I never felt that kind of care and concern from them for me,and I never had any friends till now,when you helped me in everything it was precious,thank you so much brother",Zen said while looking at him.
Roby was already looking at him with lots of love in his eyes he just smiled,patted his shoulder and the next words of him made Zen smiled brightly he asked,"so will you be my little brother from now?",Zen smiled brightly and questioned him that they don't have a huge age gap so why little brother huhh? he replied,"I'm already 19 and will turn twenty after 5 months, what's yours?", Zen replied,"I also turned 19 this month".
"So you see I'm elder to you little soldier,now don't talk too much let's have dinner",Roby said and they both chuckled and went to the dining area,After having dinner Roby said goodnight to him and left.Zen was feeling happy after having the first ever friend of his life,in this happiness he just cuddled his pillow and slept.
Next morning someone knocked his door he opened and revealed Roby there."Good morning,how're you feeling now?",Roby asked while handing over him a bag of food."I'm feeling good now please come inside let's have breakfast together",Zen answered him.
Roby said he is getting late for college so he'll meet him after coming back.Zen said that he's also coming but Roby strictly said,"stay home you're not okay understood,take care of yourself and have your medicines on time I'll be here after college ,take care",after completing his instructions he just waved his hand and went away,Zen was standing there like a nerd."Wait what just happened ahh its okay",he said and went inside.
"Jennifer-Jennifer-jennieeee,look at me, wake up we are getting late already,huh.... I can't believe that these are my words,I'm waking you up because you do this all the time but still WAKE UP",Ana was shouting in her room where Jennifer was sleeping.Ana was shouting from past 10 minutes but she didn't replied even a single word.
Ana removed the blanket from her face,she was about to shout but then putted her palm on Jennifer's forehead it was burning hot."Hey you're having fever,let me call the doctor",Ana said while dialing a number Jennifer whispered something but due to low sound it wasn't clear to her so she asked her again,"Don't call...(sighed) don't call anyone,I'm okay,I'll be fine....I'm waking up,you go and get ready first",she said with a cracking voice.
"Hey you stupid girl are you out of your mind?just look at your face you're looking like a red tomato, you're burning in fever and you still wanna go...aishhh,stay here take rest, let me bring some soup for you",Ana said and left to bring some medicines and soup for Jennifer.
She came back after a few minutes and fed her the soup by herself and gave her medicines,"I think you need some care,I'm not going also,and --- she was about to say something Jennifer cuts her words and said,"oh stop it,I'm feeling better after having medicines and you just go to college".
"huhh..fine I'm going",she replied while rolling her eyes and then dressed up for school before leaving the room she again checked Jennifer's temperature it was still high she sighed and instructed her to not to move even a little inch from her bed and try to stay away from books as she already managed her all necessary things on her side table.
Ana was worried about her but then somehow she drove to school and went to her class.Roby was already there as usual sitting at the last bench she looked at him and then sat on her seat.Class started Mr Lee was taking attendence as he was recalling names he said,"Zen...Zen",Roby stood up and told him that he's on leave because he met an accident and sat down again.
Mr Lee continued and then stopped at Jennifer's name,"Jennifer Samuel....Jennifer Samuel",Ana stood up and told him that she's suffering from high fever so that's why she's not here."Ohh I see,take care of your friend Miss Ana",he said and continued.
After attendance Mr Lee started his lecture all of the students were listening to him with full concentration except Ashley.She wrote something on a paper,rolled it and then threw it on Roby's desk.It caught his attention he looked for the person who threw it and found Ashley there.
He opened that paper after seeing what was written on it he wrote something as a reply.[babe movie tonight] (it was written on that paper).He threw the paper on Ashley's desk her eyes widened because it was the first time Roby responded to her.
She excitedly opened the paper and after seeing the reply she looked back and gave him a death glare because he just wrote [Tell me how it was].He ignored her and again down his head.
It was finally the recess time Roby was sitting in the cafeteria holding his cold coffee and reading a book he was busy.Mia came to him and sat near him,she was looking at him with seductive eye's he didn't even noticed her after almost five minutes she patted his shoulder and said,"why are you ignoring me Dude I'm sitting here from last five minutes and you didn't even looked at me for once",angry tone.
He looked at her while raising his one eyebrow then turned his book down after closing it and patiently said,"First of all I haven't called you here and secondly why are you wasting your time here?
"I'm not here for you Mr Roby,I'm here for that new handsome guy what's his name ...ah I remember Zen,I'm here for Zen,I want his number can you give it me please",she said while blinking her eyes twice.
He stood up and was about to go then turned back looked towards her and said,"No",in a husky tone and left.Aishhhh this guy....she said and threw her bag on the table in anger.
Roby was standing near his locker searching for something as he finished he locked his locker and was about to go,Ana was coming towards her locker suddenly someone threw a ball which hit her back and made her fall in Roby's arms.
She wrapped her right arm around his neck and held him strongly.
