Chapter 67: Just a hug.
That night four of them stayed awake because of the mixed emotions.They were scared, excited, nervous, confused but confident because of eachother's support.
Jennifer and Ana we're practicing in their room.A door knock grabbed their attention.Ana went to check out.As she opened the door Lana appeared with Annie.
"Hello sweetheart",Lana said and smirked.
"What are you doing here?",Ana asked with serious face.
"Just wanted to say good luck",Annie replied.
"No need for your wishes",Ana said and rolled her eyes.
"Darling you need these wishes, because everybody knows who's going to win so better for you to take these wishes may be you'll get at least a certificate",Lana said annoyingly.Jennifer stood up from her bed and walked closer to Ana.
"I don't understand why he was showing this much attitude to me,I mean just look at his partner and then look at me, there's no comparison", Lana said while staring at Jennifer.
"She is better than you in every aspect",Ana said and folded her arms around her waist.
"oh really?!",Lana asked annoyingly.
"Really",Ana replied with same face expressions.
"just feeling bad for you two, specially you",she said while pointing her finger towards Jennifer.
"Don't worry about us",Jennifer said in her cold voice and serious face expressions.
"Can't wait to kiss him and see you crying",Lana said and smirked.
"Will see tomorrow",she said and closed the door harshly on their faces.
"Fuck,you're going to pay for this",Lana mumbled and walked out.
Jennifer came back and sat on her bed.She shut her eyes and shouted.
"What the hell is wrong with her?"
"Calm down Jennie,don't lose your mind,she came here purposely to demotivate us",Ana said and patted her shoulder.
Next morning Jennifer woke up and fetch her phone to see time.Ana also woke up.After getting ready they went to breakfast area where Zen and Roby were waiting for them with Mr Chang.
They had a discussion with Mr Chang he gave them motivation by his words and told them to not to panic.After that Lara came wearing a blue backless deep neck dress exposing her cleavage and back completely.
"Hellowwweeee everyone",she said and smiled."Hey Lara",Mr Chang stood up and greeted her.
"Are you Nervous?",she asked in a seductive voice while staring at Zen.
"What's wrong with them,Lara,Lana,Ashley, rose even those black swans and half of the girls of our college not half actually all the girls are obsessing over him,Ahhh what the hell is wrong with them,oh god please protect him",Jennifer said in her mind while staring at him.His reply grabbed her attention.
"No",he replied coldly without staring at Lana.
"Well that's good",she said and grinned her teeth because she was being ignored by him over and over again.
"Best of luck",she said and held Mr Chang's hand."Let's go Chang,I want you to meet some guests",she said and both of them walked away.
Ana was looking so frustrated Roby took a glance at her and then held her hand.
"Don't! if you want her to stay in her senses then please don't flirt or else there is no guarantee that both of you will be able to attend the event or not",Jennifer said and all of them chuckled.
"Baby girl?",he said and she blushed then hid her face in her palms due to shyness.He removed her hands and smiled.
"My baby is blushing,I see",she bit her lip and smiled.
"Jennifer",Roby called Jennifer.
"yes",she replied."slides? ready?",he asked while raising his eyebrows."yeah,but projector?",she questioned.
"they're going to provide it",Ana said.
"we can't take risk",Zen replied.
"now what?",Jennifer asked.
"Let me get a new one",Zen said and stood up.
"a new one?!",she asked in confusion."yeah",he replied effortlessly."but-",
"no but we can't take risk",he cut her words and replied.
"come with me'',he said and grabbed her wrist she stood up.
"we'll be back after getting the projector",he said while dragging her towards the door.
"oh-okay", Roby replied and Ana chuckled.
Zen drove the car and took her at a beach side.It was such a pretty and calming view.She came outside and he followed her.At a few steps distance from water she stopped and took a glance at him.
"We were not suppose to come here",Jennifer said on a serious note.
"I know My lady",Zen replied and filled her tummy with butterflies.A little red blush appeared on her cheeks.
"Projector?",she asked confusingly.
"what projector?",he asked and then hit his head with his hand.
"Oh, it was just an excuse,I talked to Mr Chang about it and told him already to arrange it",he told her with a small smile.
"Then why we are here?we should go back and do some practice",she replied and was about to turn back.He held her hand from her wrist and pulled her closer made her hit his chest.Then wrapped his arms around her waist.
"We are here to relax your mind,I noticed that you were kind of disturb so I thought being here would help you to get rid of your fears and it will lighten up your mood",he said.She wrapped her arms around his neck and snuggled into his neck.
"just a hug was enough to make me happy, there was no need to come here,but I'm happy that you brought me here,this is so peaceful",she replied and started staring at him with a bright smile.
"Just a hug?",he asked with cute expressions.
"Just a hug",she replied and made him smile.
After spending a beautiful time in eachother's arms they went back to hotel.Ana and Roby were practicing in their room.Mr Chang told them to get ready.
Ana wore a black dress pant with turtle neck stylish pink shirt hair open.Jennifer dressed up as an elegant lady.She wore a complete black suit and tied her hair in a pony.
Zen wore a blue suit with white shirt and Roby wore a white casual shirt and gray dress pant.All of them were looking absolutely stunning.
Mr Chang came and they all went to the big hall which was crowded with people of different categories.A huge part of it was media and scholars.
They placed on the seats which were assigned to them.Lana with her teammates came and showed Jennifer L sign by her fingers and gave a flying kiss to Zen.He rolled his eyes and held Jennifer's hand.
The event started and the host gave introduction after that , performances started.The host was announcing the names of the participants to come on the stage and to perform.No doubt all of the performances were best and the confidence of the members was worth watching.
"Competition is really tough",Ana said and bit her lower lip.Roby held her hand and she looked at him,"Be confident",he whispered and gave her a warm smile.
The host called Lana's team.They did a great performance their energy and the plot everything was fine enough to win.There were so many thoughts in Jennifer's mind because first of all she was the leader,she came to win and secondly she was worried about the deal.Zen noticed her forehead sweating.
"Jen",he called her ,she looked at him and and responded,"huh yes".
"Trust me, we're going to rock",Zen said and caressed her cheek with his thumb and smiled.She held his hand and interwined the fingers and smiled back.
As the performance ended,the host came back and invited them for performance as they were the last one to perform.They were nervous but excited.Zen stood up and gave his hand to Jennifer she held it and stood up.Roby and Ana also joined them and they started walking towards the stage.
Just before getting up to the stage Roby said,"at least give a hug",at his words all of them hugged at once and smiled.
"We're going to rock",Zen said and cheered up.
Now the spot light was on them.Zen approached Jennifer by pressing his eyes and gave her a thumbs up.
