Chapter 9: The Battle
Professor - Let the battle BEGIN!!!
Felix and Dylon - AHHHHHHHHH!!!!
Felix and Dylon start running toward each other until Dylon starts attacking.
Dylon - Sea-serpent!
At that moment Dylon just created 5 sea serpents made of water and all of 5 crawled towards Felix, Felix stopped running and stood there, waiting for the Sea-serpents to attack, but to Felix's surprise they didn't attack, they just kept circling Felix.
Dylon - Water wall!!
Felix - What is this I can't see anything!
Dylon created a wall made of water around Felix.
Dylon - Attack!!
Felix - OHH
Dylon sent all Sea-serpents to attack while the Water Wall camouflaged the attack.
Dylon - Disperse!
No one could see what had happened inside the Water Wall, but when Dylon removed the wall of water, everyone was surprised, Felix was intact with no damage from the Sea-serpents and the Sea-serpents were gone.
Dylon - What!?
Felix with his eyes closed saw his body with snake marks, but that had withstood the damage of Sea-serpents thanks to his training.
Felix started having flashbacks from his childhood when they lived in squalor and poverty trying to survive day after day, the times when he and his mother were stoned by the townspeople for thinking he was some freak, Felix got emotional remembering his past, but Nêmesis was upset in the stands, he couldn't understand what was going on. Nêmesis wondered how Felix was alive after that attack, Felix was supposed to be seriously injured by that attack, but he didn't have any scratches, so Nêmesis decided to take a better look at that battle to find out what had happened.
Dylon - I'm sure you got lucky, so I'll use another method.
Dylon started to focus on the next attack, but as he prepared to attack Felix he started running toward Dylon, Felix planned to use the difference in basic stats to win.
Dylon - If you think you're going to get lucky again, you're wrong this attack will chase you so there's no way to dodge it, take it, WATER DRAGON!!
Water Dragon started to go towards Felix, but Felix kept running without fear.
Dylon - You are crazy!!
Felix - NO I'M NOT, I'M STRONG!!!
As soon as Felix had just said his words Dylon's attack had been blocked, but Felix wouldn't allow him to take any more of Dylon's attacks.
Dylon - WHAT IS THAT, HOW ARE U STILL ALIVE!?!?!?
Felix - I already said, I'm strong!!
Felix had punched Dylon in his face, causing Dylon to fall to the ground, but soon he got up with his mouth bleeding. Dylon had flames in his eyes, for him the battle had become more interesting, Dylon didn't want to know of status he just wanted to become the strongest so he didn't underestimate Felix's strength, which had been through effort, he regarded Felix as one of the strongest in the room after he took that punch. Dylon seeing the strength in Felix's eyes, said:
Dylon - I admit, you are strong and one of the strongest in our class, but that only makes this battle more interesting.
Felix - Wait!! aren't you a noble? I mean, after all, you're not underestimating me at all, from the beginning you're attacking with powerful attacks.
Dylon - I don't care about status and being a noble, my goal will always be the same, to be the best of the best, and to be the best I can't underestimate people just for their status.
Felix - You are a good guy, but now let's back to our fight.
Dylon - Okay, you gave me time to think about something to win you.
Felix - Let's see then, OHHHH!!
Felix starts running towards Dylon again, but Dylon had something prepared this time.
Dylon - Whirlpool!!!
Dylon instantly created a large mass of water that started pulling Felix toward the center of it.
Felix - UHH!
Felix begins to be pulled towards the center with incredible force, Felix tries to hold to the ground, but ends up being pulled towards the center and is trapped underwater by the forces of the currents. Felix tries to get to the surface for air, but he can't and so after Felix passes out, Dylon disperses his Whirlpool.
Dylon - It was a great battle, but who won this battle was me!!
Felix regained consciousness, but the Professor had already declared the winner of that battle.
Professor - And the winner is Dylon due to Felix not being able to continue to battle anymore.
Felix - Noo!!!! I can still fight, you see?
Professor - Dylon is the winner, you had a good fight, but it was not enough now go rest and see the next battles.
Felix - I can still fight, please let me fight!!!
Professor - No, you will have another opportunity in the future but now you need to rest!
Felix - Dammit!!!!
Dylon - Don't feel bad, it was a good fight, let's fight again another time, okay?
Felix - It's a promise and next time I'll be victorious!!
Dylon - Can't wait for that.
Dylon and Felix shook hands and left the arena, but as they left the arena, Felix heard applause, Felix thought it was for Dylon and ignored the applause, but they started calling his name and Dylon's name, and that's when he realized that he was being applauded with his opponent for a good battle and left the arena smiling, not satisfied that he didn't take the victory, but happy to prove that he is worthy.
