Chapter 4: Chapter 4. Test.
Early in the morning all the students were gathered inside the great hall.
"Students, I have something to announce. As you can see in recent events, there are other supernatural creatures that we thought don't exist. We have met with a real fire breathing dragon, a gargoyle and yesterday an Arachne. We also have a student who we don't know his origin whether he is a supernatural or not. So I want to create a council consist of three people representing the three factions. A vampire, a werewolf and a witch to vote whether he stays or not Assemble dismissed" Dr. Saltzman announces then went out carrying a bag.
"Wait, Dr. Saltzman. If the council vote for Landon to stay then he stay?" Raf rush and inquire about Landon
"Dr. S, about Kaleb. The vampires were angry at me can't you release him?" "The council can vote for his release"
"Dr. Saltzman, wait a moment" Hope came running.
"What day is it, am I getting assault today?" He said exaggerated.
"What is it now a Tree spirit? And you want to leave me behind?" She said.
"A druid and I leave you instructions for your assignment today at my office" he said then drove off leaving behind Hope .

"So what am I doing here? No, what are you doing here?" Landon wondered why Hope was in the office not Alaric.
"I was assigned to test you if you have supernatural abilities. This way it can decide if you leave or stay"
And so the day was spent to test Landon abilities.
"First we have to test your blood lineage to see if you have magical families" She said then do the test.
"There's no magical relative. Now we will do this, you tell me what you know and also mainly about the truth" she said while showing a crystal ball. "What's that?" "It a magical crystal that can tells lies from the truth"
"Well, tell me everything about your parents" "like I told you I have no one but I only know my mother's name Seylah. I have no other families aside from Raf. We grew up from in a foster system and move around"
She looks at the ball and it shined blue.
"And I am really sorry for betraying your trust and promise that I will never ever again to betrayed you" what he said was the truth that come from his heart.
The crystal shine blue while Hope look at Landon with care and love in her eyes. "Ahem, well now we are going to do physical test" she hurriedly walks away.

At Dorian hideout.
"I am druids I can't lie. Call Oliver, he's the one who I can trust because he always tells the truth" the druid in capture said.

"Now you have to run after picking that log" Hope said.
"Seem like I have no supernatural abilities" Landon said. "If it's don't go well, don't let my brother know"
While they converse Ms. Emma approach and talk to Hope which prompt Landon to leave.

Walking away from Hope and Ms. Emma Landon came across an angry wolf.
"It all good until you showed up with Rafael" Jed who was angry hold on to Landon angrily.
Landon on spur throws Jed to the ground which surprised Jed and making him more angry.
He stood up then punch Landon with his werewolf strength. Landon dodge and tries to kick but his body never able to react with his thought process and was beaten up instead.
"Where's that Jed?!!! I'm going to beat him" Raf said while going out.
"No, Raf don't you have a council to be elected" Landon diffuse him and placate him.
He went out and found Hope outside.
Hope get in and saw Landon on the bed.
"Do you feel safe here?" She asked.
"Not for a moment" Landon answered truthfully.
"I'll have to go there's a vote that I need to attend" she went out while Landon sigh. 'when I awaken my abilities then there's no more maintaining this drama. I just need to rest from fighting. In my last life I always fought in battle when I was only 5 to 6 years. I don't know why I choose Landon as my incarnation but it good. I have Hope which was good in a way. Ahh! Now I just need to awake my abilities then I can use the grimoire. But this body was really sloppy. While he don't have a true feeling to Hope but the influence from his father Malivore. I swear that I will love her and protect her including my friends in the future'
He prepare his bags which contain his grimoire and puts some clothes inside.
He walk outside waiting for Hope. Hopefully she came and dropped him off.
He heard footstep coming from behind which was Hope. He smiles at her, "I thought you'd never come" "and I thought you would be angry for voting you out?"
"Ah! I'm not I just hate leaving you and my brother Raf behind but at the bright side I know you cares for me if not you will let me stay in this hellhole" he tries to lighten the mood while walking to the bus stop.
"Here's the ticket, a friend of mine at New Orleans can helps you finds your mother"
"Ahaha, thanks" he said looking at the ticket.
"I am truly sorry for voted you out. Here's this it a magic bracelet when you presses it can show me where you are when you in trouble" she gave him a bracelet then stood up and walks away when the bus approaching.
Landon press the button to see if it works. She face him when he said "just wanted to check if it work"
Hopes smile then ran toward him and they kissed.
Rafael was devasted when he found a letter when he return from the vote.
'Dear Brother,
Don't be sad. I know you want me to stay but I don't fit in here beside I have know where you are maybe I'll prepare our own house where you can come during your summer break.
Also remember what I told you. Move on and go for Josie.

He folds the letter and smile walking to Josie and apologize.
"Josie I'm sorry for angry at you during the vote. I was just, thinking about my brother. I like you but I have to take your sister for a dance as I promise her, ok?" He apologize then he kiss her.
