Chapter 3: Chapter Three.
"No I'm not and I'm sure I have never seen you before" Shocked by what he just heard Adrian facial expressions became dark and furious then he shouted back " What the heck do you mean by that Ivy, I have no time no time to joke with you. So enough with this nonsense you are saying"
Iris looked at the stranger claiming she was his wife and blinked eyes and continue eating her food while ignoring him. Seeing her not ignoring him, Adrian calm down and ask "Do you remember how you got here?"
Iris replied "If I could remember will I be asking in the first place? So no I don't remember and I will really appreciate it if someone could tell me." Seeing she was serious about her not remembering a thing, Adrian was confused.
Soon the Doctor came in and signaled to Adrian to come outside for a bit. Iris saw the signal but choose to ignore and continue eating her food.
Outside the doctor said to Adrian "CEO Campbell I have an update on the recent test carried out on your wife after she woke up. And I'm sorry to inform you that your wife is suffering from short term Amnesia, after the collision she got due to the car accident." Shocked about what he just heard Adrian said "Amnesia? That explains why she was behaving and talking weirdly asking about who she was."
The Doctor replied "It is to be expected some cases are like that where the Patient forgot all about themselves, while some only partially forgot some aspects of their memories. After a period of good rest she will start to remember some of her lost memories gradually, let's say in a week or two there will be some changes."
Hearing that Adrian became relived, because when he first heard the doctor diagnosis about Ivy Amnesia he was troubled. And now that he knows the situation is only temporary his mind is at rest. "Thank you doctor, I really appreciate your effort on my wife"
"You are welcome CEO Campbell. About the others involved in the accident there are already in the morgue, so whenever you and the family of the driver's are ready please let us know beforehand to complete the paperwork."
After the doctor's reminder he remembers about the death of his wife Twin Sister and also the driver's. "Okay doctor I will make arrangements and my assistant will get back to you." After the conversation the doctor excuse himself to attend to the other patients in the hospital, leaving Adrian alone in the hallway.
Standing all alone in the hallway Adrian was left with his thoughts. Deciding on how he was going to break the news to his wife about her twin sister death without traumatizing her. Then he realized it doesn't really matter because his wife could not remember a thing about herself, right now her memory is like that of a new born baby blank.
So he concluded on waiting for his wife to regain her memories before telling her and also planning for the funeral.
Inside the hospital room Iris had finished eating her food and she was resting while watching the Television. Before switching on the Television she tried to recall anything from her memory but she was unable to. But her mind was telling her that she forgot an important matter.
The more she tries to remember, the more intense pain she felt so she complied to the doctor's advise not to stress her brain and to rest. Few minutes watching the Television Iris fell asleep.
In an Office an a Tall handsome with a little bit feminine looking Man could be seen pacing back and forth holding a smartphone to his ear while making a call but the call was not connected. This won't be the first time it happens, the fact was that he as been trying since yesterday but he cannot get through Iris.
Before she left for Country B she promised to call him and she did, but later she texted him when she got off the flight that she will call him when she gets to her sister's place. And since then her phone has not be going through at all. And it was known that Iris cannot do without her phone or switch it off ever.
Something might be wrong and he got to do something quick.
The Man Is Cole Winston one of the best computer programmer in Country H. He is the adopted son of Chairman and Chairwoman of the Winston Technology Limited Company. The only heir of the couple.
With finding whereabouts of Iris on his mind, he sat down on his office chair and got on his computer, hoping to get a news on Iris or something similar. Tracking Iris would have been better but that girl is so good at hiding her track that locating her is next to impossible for him.
The first time he got to know Iris was at a Programming Competition. Where he participated as a contestant and Iris was also his fellow contestant. Before entering the competition he always thought that he was the best and nobody could win him, giving his intelligence and the training went through all his life, but he got to know through the competition after Iris emerge as the winner after competing against him and won.
Then when they were competing he found out that Iris was faster and smarter than him. After the Competition he decided that he want to know her better to become her friend. Later after a few months they both became close friends.
As he was reminiscing about the past his fingers continues typing without stopping until he came across a headline of a news about how a Billionaire's wife and two other passengers were involved in an accident. He never expected Iris to be involved so he paid no attention to such bad news.
Never did he expects the news headline he ignored now to be the News of the person he had been searching for.
