Yin Longshen's grades were also good, making Yin Qiushan very proud. Yin Qiushan even hinted several times that if Yin Longshen was extraordinary, he could become the Yin family heir.
Regarding the problem of heirs... Actually, neither Yin Longshen nor Feng Yongrui were worried about it.

He couldn't lie to himself and tell himself that he was going to be part of a happy family and whatnot. Yin Longshen did know, however, that his younger brother was sincere towards him.
He knew that his younger brother was really nice to him. Sometimes, Yin Longshen wondered why his younger brother could be so carefree and smile all the time.
Shouldn't his younger brother be wary of him? It would make more sense if his younger brother treated him like how Zhao Baozhai treated him. With contempt, hatred, and so on.
Many times, Yin Longshen wondered if his younger brother actually knew that they were half-brothers and not real brothers. He thought that since his younger brother was only 5 years old, then he probably didn't know that he (Yin Longshen) was actually an illegitimate child.
If his younger brother came to understand that they were actually half-brothers, would his younger brother despise him?
Yin Longshen was afraid, and yet at the same time, there was a dark feeling that grew inside his heart. He wanted to be selfish. He hoped his younger brother would always be innocent, ignorant of the world, and rely on him.

Feng Yongrui had just finished taking a bath, so his dark black hair was still damp. Ignoring the drops of water that fell from his hair, Feng Yongrui tiptoed behind his brother.
According to the original timeline, Yin Longshen started knowing [daylily900] around this time, and the two became friends when Yin Longshen was fourteen. Feng Yongrui wanted to check if Yin Longshen was already friends with [daylily900] or not.

Feng Yongrui was caught off guard and backed away.
"I know, Gege..."
He pretended to head to the bathroom, but out of the corner of his eye, Feng Yongrui noticed that Yin Longshen was chatting with someone.
Chatting with someone?!
Feng Yongrui whipped his head to look at the username. Aha! It was [daylily900]!
Feng Yongrui squinted his eyes and read their conversation.

[daylily900]: Don't be so stiff~
[daylily900]: Hey, don't ignore me
[daylily900]: I'm not a suspicious person.
[lucky_koi]: Go away.

[daylily900]: I just want to talk about the code you made last week. How did you think of it?
Feng Yongrui looked at his older brother. [lucky_koi] must be his older brother's account... but why was his older brother so cold here?
Feng Yongrui glanced at his older brother and saw Yin Longshen ignore [daylily900].
Feng Yongrui was speechless. If Yin Longshen knew that [daylily900] was the current heir of the Peng family, would he still be so aloof?
Suddenly, Yin Longshen turned around and looked at Feng Yongrui.
"Didi, how many times do I have to tell you? You can't sleep with a wet hair..." Yin Longshen stood up and grabbed a towel. He led Feng Yongrui over to the bed and dried his hair.
Yin Longshen's movements were relaxed and gentle. It was obvious that he had done this many times before.
Feng Yongrui enjoyed his older brother's care and gave a hum in contentment.
"Ge, are you chatting with your friend?" Feng Yongrui tried to probe.
"Huh? No. He's not my friend. He's just a random guy who keeps bothering me," Yin Longshen said.
"Oh... What does he usually do?" Feng Yongrui tilted his head.
"Don't move," Yin Longshen gently chided.
"Well, you know that I like coding, right?" Yin Longshen said patiently.
"Yes... Last time you said you will try it and earn lots of money," Feng Yongrui replied.
Speaking of earning money, Feng Yongrui was glad that Yin Longshen never brought up selling candies or origami works anymore.
After Yin Longshen found out about coding, he had been devoted to studying and making codes, and he didn't mention making money anymore. Feng Yongrui thought he had forgotten about it.
Feng Yongrui wanted Yin Longshen to become friends with [daylily900] for several reasons. For starters, being friends with the Peng family was a good thing. [daylily900] would also be a helpful and nice mentor for Yin Longshen.
Also, when Yin Longshen and [daylily900]'s relationship progressed further, [daylily900] would help Yin Longshen open a bank account.
Wouldn't this be super helpful for Yin Longshen later on? Feng Yongrui wanted Yin Longshen to start earning money and take his first steps in becoming a business tycoon.
