Chapter 3: Day 3
Lucas woke up slightly before his alarm and turned it off before it could make the ear piercing noise which woke him up every morning. It was the last day of school before he would have a week off, and luckily, he only had an English lesson which was in the middle of the day and surrounded by two lessons of private study.
He was tired of waking up at 7 o'clock every morning and was looking forward to a lie-in which he felt was well deserved. Lucas did his daily morning routine and got in the shower for ten minutes and came out feeling refreshed. He then got dressed and turned Artaois back into a ring and then put him on his hand before getting dressed. He already had his undead necklace on as he did not take it off when he went to sleep the night before.
Lucas was ready and had time to spare so he opened his third day reward by thinking about it.
'Day Three Reward Has Been Claimed. Obtained Storage Earrings. The Left Earrings Allow You To Store And Remove Items From An Endless Space. The Right Earring Allows You To Summon One Item From A Random Location In A Random Universe, This Can Only Be Used Once. They Will Automatically Equip When You Want Them To.'
In Lucas' hands the earrings appeared, the right earring was a silver cross which was attached to a short silver chain and the left earrings were two small silver circles which would fit on the outside of his ear perfectly.
Lucas looked at the stats of the earrings.

Lucas did not hesitate and willed for the earrings to be worn and they immediately appeared on his ears with no discomfort. He was happy with the reward he had gained as it would be helpful for items he would receive in the future. However, despite this being the more useful of the two abilities, the thought of a random item from a random universe intrigued him more despite the chance that it could be useless.
He checked his phone and still had some time before he would have to start walking to school, so he decided to use the ability straight away.
'Single Use Item Summon Has Been Used. Your Item Will Appear Shortly.'
A black portal appeared on the ground in front of Lucas, and a small red box appeared on his ground before the portal disappeared. He bent down and picked up the box and opened it to see what was inside.
Once he opened the box, he saw a small ball with swirling black energy inside and he looked at its stats.

Tattoo Creation: Creates A Tattoo On Your Body Which Has An Ability Which Is Decided At Random. This Ability Will Not Be Negative, But May Not Be Powerful.
"Well, this is interesting, and it doesn't seem to have any downsides either. Guess I may as well just eat it."
Lucas carefully picked up the pill before putting it in his mouth and swallowing it whole. Surprisingly, it tasted quite nice and went down easily. Lucas did not feel anything different until a burning sensation began to spread across both of his arms.
Eventually, the feeling disappeared and both of Lucas' arms had tattoos appear on them. Each arm had an identical tattoo of a vicious black ocean which seemed to swallow everything. He looked at his status to see what the ability he had gained was.

Lucas was pleased with his new skill as it seemed to be quite versatile with the choice of being solid and liquid. However, he had no time to test it as he needed to get to school as quick as he possibly could as he was running late after looking at his new skill.
However, once Lucas arrived at school, he noticed that it was closed which was surprising to him as there was still one day left before he would have a week off and it should have been open. He pulled out his phone and opened his emails to see an email from the school which stated that the school was closing a day early as the wifi had gone down and therefore it would not be able to operate correctly.
In response to this, Lucas used his storage earrings for the first time and put his blazer and tie inside as he did not want to wear them if he did not have to. Now he was just wearing his black trousers and a white shirt which he rolled the sleeves of up. This revealed his new tattoos, but he didn't care as they looked cool, and he did not have to hide them if he wasn't in school.
As he did not really have much to do and he was already out of his house, he decided to message his friends to see if they were doing anything. However, they were both busy as Jacob was at his job as school had been cancelled and Tommy was out with his family.
Lucas thought about what else he could do for a moment before sending another message and getting a response quite quickly. He had messaged Raven who was already out shopping on her own to see if she wanted to hang out and, luckily for Lucas' boredom, she did. They decided on meeting near the shopping centre which was close by to the cinema where they had been the day before.
Lucas did not particularly feel like running to the destination or getting a bus there, so he decided to teleport instead. He had once climbed to the top of one of the buildings in the area around where he needed to go, and it was incredibly rare for anyone to be up there, so he chose to teleport onto the roof.
As he had expected, nobody was on the roof to see his sudden appearance and he was able to jump off of the side of the building onto the floor. From there, he walked in the direction of the shop that Raven had said she was in. Lucas did not know how to explain his quick arrival and hoped that she would not question it too much.
It only took around five minutes for him to get there, and he entered the shop without letting Raven know that he was there. He was prepared to look around for a while before finding her, but it was not too difficult for him to spot her.
She was wearing a black collared top with a black skirt which had chains at the top of it which went from the front to the side. She also seemed to have a fishnet shirt on underneath her collared top as she had fishnet sleeves and it disappeared beneath her skirt which was probably how it was being held down. She also had fishnet tights on with black heeled boots that went up to her knees which made her quite a lot taller. She had multiple necklaces on as well as rings and bracelets as well as the same facial jewellery as the day before. As well as this though she had a plain black choker with a black cross design in the middle of it.
Lucas walked over to her and called out, "What a coincidence to see you here."
Raven seemed shocked as she had not expected Lucas to be so quick, but she seemed to recover her composure, "Of course, a coincidence, definitely nothing planned. How did you get here so quickly?"
Lucas smiled and replied, "I teleported, how else? No, I'm taking the piss, I was already headed this way on a bus by myself, so it wasn't exactly far."
In a joking manner, Raven asked Lucas, "You sure you aren't stalking me?"
In response to this, Lucas grinned a little and said, "Maybe I am, maybe I'm not. You'd never know, I'm like a ninja."
Raven laughed, "God you're stupid, it's good to see you again so soon though. I really enjoyed yesterday."
"Me too, I was thinking that you might want to go bowling and then to the arcade with me right now. My treat obviously, I'm not going to invite you out of the blue and stick the bill on you don't worry." Lucas did not hesitate to ask as he felt confident in himself.
Raven seemed happy, "Yeah sure, I was getting bored of looking around these shops anyway."
There was a bowling alley and arcade right next to the cinema, so it was a short walk to reach it and the two went inside together. They approached the counter and Lucas spoke to the woman behind it, "Hi, have you got a lane open for the two of us?"
The woman nodded and responded, "Yep, lane number 11 is free. It'll be twenty five pounds for a game for the two of you. Will that be cash or card?"
"Card thanks." Lucas pulled his card out of his wallet and used contactless payment which immediately went through and the two were able to go to their lane.
They put their names into the machine and started the game with Lucas having the first turn. He did not want to hold back, not to show off, but because he wanted to win and felt like allowing Raven to win would be rude and meant that he did not think she could win fairly.
He picked up one of the bowling balls and skilfully bowled it with speed and power towards the pins. It hit directly into the middle one and looked as if it was going to be a first turn strike. However, the pins decided that they did not want to work correctly and only three of them fell over. This disappointed Lucas, but he was determined to at least get a spare. His second bowl only knocked down four more pins which meant his first turn was not as successful as he had hoped.
As his go was finished, it was Raven's turn and she picked up a bowling ball which was smaller than the one Lucas had used due to her smaller size and lower strength, this was not because she was a woman but because Lucas was superhuman.
Much to Lucas' dismay, Raven somehow got a strike on her first bowl despite the ball not even hitting the centre pin and being slower than Lucas' bowl.
The rest of the game went similarly, and by the end Raven had beaten Lucas despite his better physical capabilities. He didn't really mind too much despite having wanted to win because Raven seemed happy, especially because he had not let her win.
As they had finished their game, the two went into the arcade and spent what felt like ages playing the arcade games. This time though, Lucas absolutely reigned as champion as he did not lose a single game. Although Raven kept trying to rematch him, she eventually gave up after a while of losing multiple times in a row.
Once they were done, the two left the building and walked to the fried chicken shop which was about a minute walk away. They both got food and then Raven had to leave a while later as her family was on their way past.
At this point it had been multiple hours and Lucas just wanted to go home and relax while watching some films. He teleported home with the intention to chill out and then test his new skill the day after.
As he had wanted to, Lucas spent the rest of the day watching movies before he eventually fell asleep on his sofa.
