Chapter 215: Chapter 214 - Iron Man: My mortal body is comparable to that of a god

Listening to the voice coming from the system, the daisy smile on Star-Lord's face just froze for a moment.

"No way, how could the answer be me!" Star-Lord said unacceptably.

But it was the system's decision, it was impossible to be wrong, but Star-Lord could no longer say anything to refute it.

"See, I told you so! The answer must be Star Lord!" Thor, however, could not help but laugh out loud at the side.

He also swept a somewhat discontented glance at everyone around him, "Thanks to you guys for seriously analyzing me, this is ridiculous!"

[Congratulations to the answerer, Thor Odinson, for receiving a reward-shielded helmet!]

[The reward has been issued, please pay attention to it!]

With these words from the system, a very smoothly shaped, but at the same time dominating, silver helmet immediately appeared in Thor's hand.

"Not bad, with this helmet, from now on I will be immune to any form of mind attacks, no one can disturb my mind anymore."

Thor nodded with great satisfaction and then all at once brought the helmet around his head.

"Nice Thor, it looks like it goes well with you." The Black Widow scanned Thor up and down and also showed a look of approval.

The helmet matched Thor's armour, cloak, and hammer, perfectly, and there was nothing out of place to be seen.

"So this shielding helmet, it's shielding some mind control type of magic?" Captain America couldn't resist speaking up off to the side and asking.

"Not just magic, but some other forms of power, such as Loki's sceptre," Thor explained to Captain America.

Everyone was still very surprised by this, knowing that within Loki's sceptre, that was the Mind Gem.

Could it be that this screen helmet, could even block out the power of the Mind Gem?

That would be a bit perverted, wouldn't it?

"You mean Loki's sceptre?"

Tony Stark immediately showed his surprise, but then after thinking about it, he added, "What about the Mind Gem? A sceptre and a gem are two different things, aren't they? When the Mind Gem is used as a sceptre by Loki, it only has a very limited and insignificant power, right?"

What Tony Stark said made sense too.

Although the power of the Infinity Gems was powerful, the power in them could not be harnessed so easily.

Without a certain means, even if you were given the gem, it would still be a piece of scrap.

"I'm not so sure about that, anyway, Scepter to that extent, and the Scarlet Witch's magic, I mean the magic that controls that aspect of the mind, can be perfectly immune."

Thor shook his head and said to the group.

Mind gems and all, the shielding helmets probably wouldn't work when someone could wield more powerful, mind-controlling powers, right?

But that was something that could not be experimented with at all, and no one could give a definitive answer.

"All in all, I'm very happy with the helmet," Thor said with a smile again.

There was no doubt that Thor's strength was very strong, attack, defence, nothing could be picked out, the only slight stain might be that he had been mind controlled by the Scarlet Witch.

But now this shielding helmet can be said to make up for the last piece of shortcomings of Thor.

Now Thor, with no holes in his mind or flesh, can be said to be flawless.

"Not bad, Thor has now become even stronger than before." Captain America was also genuinely happy for Thor.

"I can't believe the answer to this question is Star-Lord." Strange, on the other hand, shrugged and said with a slight surprise.

"This must be a mistake, how could this question possibly say me? I'm comparable to a mortal? I'm a lot stronger than a mortal, okay!"

Star-Lord said heavily with great displeasure.

"The system's judgment, it can't be wrong, Star-Lord, since the system said so, then you are comparable to a mortal with the body of a god."

The system's wording is excellent, although there are only a few words, it is concise and precise."

"Even if I'm comparable to a mortal, I'm still a god's body! I am a god, but you are a mortal!" When Star-Lord saw that even Tony Stark had come to open a mockery, he was offended and disliked back hard.

"Sorry, my mortal body is comparable to that of a god" Tony Stark thought for a moment, but returned this line.

"Comparable to a god in a mortal body?"

Strange couldn't bear to hear this, and couldn't help but open his mouth, "Mr Stark, do you always brag about yourself like that? Although I have done this sort of thing before, isn't that, well, a little over the top?"

"Doctor." The Black Widow, however, opened up for Tony Stark on the side, "While that sounds arrogant at first blush, I have to say that it's not much of an arrogance when placed on Stark, who has done things in the future that God may not even be able to do."

Strange and Star-Lord, the two newcomers, would of course find Tony Stark's words arrogant, but a few of the older men who answered the question, on closer inspection, felt that they were not arrogant.

Compared to the other super-soldiers, gods, wizards, mutants and other freaks in the Avengers, Tony Stark is truly mortal.

But what is the difference between him and a god when he can fight Thanos in the future, punch him in the face, and even kill him in the end?

Not even a god like Thor has done that.

To be comparable to a god with a mortal body was not an exaggeration.

"Are you guys serious?"

Star-Lord looked at Tony Stark with a staggering look on his face, all but laughing out loud, "He's comparable to a god? Just him? You, Earthlings, don't know what a real god is, do you?"

Although this guy could fly around in his armour and look cool, we were talking about gods!

Is that all there is to a god?

[This round of questions is over!]

A beep suddenly sounded, interrupting the chatter of the crowd.

This caused everyone in the audience to feel a surge of surprise, for this one question, there was no answer explanation.

This was the first time we had encountered such a situation yet.

Swish!

But the system didn't give everyone a chance to think or discuss, and when the prompt sounded for the end of the answer, the pure white answer space disappeared at once.

Naturally, the people in the answer space also disappeared.

And at the moment the quiz ended.

The Dark World.

Swish, swish, swish!

Several people's figures just appeared out of thin air, and it was none other than Iron Man, Captain America and Thor the God of Thunder and those who had originally taken part in the answer.

"It's the Dark World, the place we stayed before, we're back!" Black Widow said to the group as she surveyed her surroundings.

There was little surprise at this.

"Then it seems that Strange and Star-Lord and the others, too, are all back in their respective places." Captain America chimed in off to the side.

"Thor."

A few people were talking when Hawkeye Barton came to the group from his original high point with his Lynx battle bow, "The Dark Elves have been destroyed, but there is one problem, how are we going to get back?"

This was another planet, and the original entrance had disappeared since everyone had entered it.

There was no way for them to find their way back.

Although the original Jane Foster had once again returned to the planet from within the critical point, it was clear that the other side had inadvertently gone back by mistake.

It was even five hours later when they went back.

It was of little reference value.

"Everyone, welcome to Asgard as your guests." Thor said to everyone with a smile instead, "I'll have Heimdall teleport us back to Asgard, and then we'll go back to Earth."

The group discussed Thor's proposal with each other and raised no objections.

This was the safer way.

After all, the nine star systems were now converging, so if they wandered around the Dark World, they might have a foot on another planet.

That would be a problem.

"Asgard, the legendary God's Domain, this will be an eye-opener." Eagle-eyed Barton shrugged slightly, revealing an excited look on his face.

"The Immortal Palace, that's something I never expected." Dr Banner, who had been restored to his original form by Captain America using the Sobriety Bracelet, also looked on with anticipation.

"Heimdall!"

Thor said without further ado, pointing the hammer in his hand towards the sky and sending a distant "call" upwards, "Take us back!"

Swish!

A multicoloured light descended from the sky and enveloped everyone in the scene.

Everyone only felt a blur before their eyes, a strong force acting on them, a feeling of weightlessness came over them, and immediately afterwards they were back to normal.

And by this time everyone had found themselves within another exotic, atmospheric-looking hall.

A man in armour and incredibly strong, with a long sword in his hand, was standing in front of a device.

It was, without a doubt, none other than Heimdall.

"Welcome to Asgard."

Knowing that the few people in front of him were important friends of Thor's, Heimdall greeted the group from afar.

Naturally, everyone responded politely as well.

There was also a heartfelt respect for this warrior who was so loyal to Thor that he had guarded Asgard with his own life.

"Everyone, I will take you to meet my father first!"

After greeting Heimdall, Thor didn't have any nonsense and immediately led everyone, to the Immortal Palace, to Odin's presence.

"You must be the warriors who helped Thor defeat the Dark Elves." Odin slowly stood up and said to several people.

Although Odin had always disallowed people from Midgard to appear in Asgard at will, this was specific to the people.

Jane Foster was an ordinary Earth woman, nothing more, and as Odin had said, goat meat was not on the table, but not the ones in front of her.

Having defeated the ultimate weapon of the Immortal Palace, the Destroyer, before, saving Thor's life, and now helping Thor defeat the Dark Elves, such people were qualified to come to Asgard.

Even more so, he was entitled to his Odin's respect.

Not to mention the fact that these men were also Thor's "answer friends", which made their status even more extraordinary.

"On behalf of Asgard, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to you. Asgard welcomes you as guests!" Odin continued, addressing the group.

"Your Majesty!"

"Your Majesty the God-King!"

The people on the scene also returned Odin's salute, not daring to be the slightest bit negligent, even Tony Stark, who had always been arrogant, was honest at this time.

The old man in front of them was the Lord of the Nine Realms and the God King of his generation, a status they could not have respected more.

"Father, this is the Ether Particle!"

After both sides had greeted each other, Thor handed the treasure box to Odin.

Odin took it and after surveying it, he nodded: "It is exactly as recorded in the canon, Thor, you have done another great service."

"It was all as I should have done, Father!" A smile appeared on Thor's face.

After meeting Odin, Thor personally took everyone on a tour of Asgard and prepared an extremely sumptuous feast.

It went without saying that the guests and the hosts enjoyed themselves.

Afterwards, the group went back to New York, back to the answerers' base, and, as always, shared information and analysed the questions.

Only this time, there was one more person in attendance: Strange.

"Welcome to the League of Answerers, Dr Strange."

Inside the meeting room, Nick Fury slowly stood up and extended his hand to Strange, who had just followed the Black Widow in.

The two sides shook hands as a greeting.

Strange swept a glance at the people around him, a slight look of surprise appearing on his face, "So everyone who has all participated in that magical quiz? I have to say that's a bit more than I expected."

"Have a seat Doctor, it's not the first time anyone here has taken part in the quiz, so feel free to ask anything you want to know."

Nick Fury greeted Strange and both parties took their seats.

"Well everyone, now that everyone is here, I think we can officially begin." Nick Fury said to the group with a straight face as he swept the floor.

The meeting officially began.

The first part of the meeting was naturally the sharing of the information revealed by this round's answer by this time's responders, and so a cry of astonishment rang out from the room.

"Thanos has killed half of the living beings in the entire universe? Not just the billions of humans on Earth?"

"Humans failed the first time, so they performed a time travel to start the final battle with Thanos?"

"In addition to Thanos, there is a dark lord, Dormammu, who is also going to invade Earth?"

...

Nick Fury, Hawkeye Barton, Dr Banner and the others were all stunned by this weighty news, and their hearts were raised in huge waves.

Even with the minds of these people, they simply could not remain calm in the face of this level of news.
