Chapter 11: 11. Time Flies!

Aria had Ryan teleported out after the flash to an alley where she slowly began calling his rampaging magic. She had gotten control for a few seconds only before which she used to teleport out, so she was now doing it slowly. It took a minute before she managed to control it, after which she had him enter stealth and run from roof to roof in case someone was tracing his magic.

Ryan came back to his body and asked, "Aria, what was that? Why did my magic go haywire? That isn't supposed to happen." He asked hurriedly. He did not like the fact that someone can get a measure of his strength because his magic goes brrr for some reason.

[Not enough data to reach a conclusion, sir. Leading theory shows reason to be Allure of Veela, or the eldest daughter of Delacour, Fleur Delacour, as it was when you met her your magic went out of control.] Aria stated her hypothesis. She was well aware of her master's wishes, and she needed even more information to learn and provide her master with solutions.

"Tch, just when I think I caught a break, a new problem arises. Now I would be wanted in France for attacking a government official, though not as Grim. But even so, I cannot use illusion magic or glamour charms to appear drastically different yet." Ryan clicked his tongue in annoyance and muttered.

After thinking for a while, he continued, "I was hoping to tour a bit more, but with the ministry on alert, even reports of Grim appearing in France won't be taken lightly. I guess we are moving eastward now. But it's not that bad. While I had reservations in Britain, most dark groups there are small because of the influence of Dumbledore. But Eastern Europe is a different story. Countries like Bulgaria and Romania are filled with problems... I have held this matter long enough... it's time to get some shadow soldiers."

Ryan knew he had reservations about killing. He was just a normal guy a few months ago, and he's not a psychopath. Even the bigot he cut limbs off had families and no matter how twisted they are, he's not going to leave them parentless. While his memories were sealed, he felt pain when the walrus family taunted him about his parents being dead, and while they treated him like a slave, those purebloods are like hounds who would take everything the moment they see any weakness.

[Course plotted. I have created the list for most items that may be required on the trip. I suggest we overstock on food and keep them under stasis charm] Aria reported and Ryan looked at the holo screen showing the world map and another with a list of items.

"Let's keep magical items halted till Italy. We can teleport here and in Britain whenever we want anyways thanks to shadow exchange, so it won't be a problem... Ah, damn, I should have sent some to spy on the Delacours. Missed opportunity." Ryan said and sighed. "Hmm, I wonder if Potter luck in this universe is the equivalent of Parker luck in Marvel?... Nah, I don't see any beauties near me, and I'm not planning to be a Potter either... Aria, try to come up with a way to trick that book and quill of Hogwarts. I don't think it would be in my best interest to have them know who I am, especially when I don't know of Dumbledore's true nature."

[Noted sir. I would also like to add that females won't be attracted to a 9-year-old sexually, and you haven't hit puberty either so you shouldn't have thoughts like those.] Aria notified him.

"...Fuck you!"

*With The Delacours*

After the incident at the shop, Monsieur Delacour immediately used the portkeys on everybody to have them teleported to their mansion. They were alert because of the sudden turn of events and Monsieur didn't want to take the chance to have his family in danger. He could still feel the sensation when the boy attacked... the enormous amount of magic the kid had.

He had aurors looking for the kid's whereabouts, but there were no traces of him as if he had popped out of nowhere. Neither does his features match with most French people, especially the black hair.

"Calm down dear, the aurors are looking into what happened." Apolline, Monsieur's wife said to him, trying to ease him. Both of them had enough time to hear the aurors inform about the owner of the bookstore's testimony, and from it, they could infer that whoever the boy was, he only came there to get books, and his reaction was entirely related to them. As for why? They don't know. But whatever may be the case, the mystery boy had shown too much, and cases of illegal entry in France as well as attempted attack are already made, and his disappearing adds more to the charges.

Just when they were sitting in the dining room, they noticed a crow flying toward them. It took a second for them to be alert of why it was there, but the crow dived towards the table and evaporated into a dark mist, leaving a letter behind.

They remained alert, wondering how it even got in and looking for an intruder near them. Monsieur checked the wards but found no one in their home except their family and some aurors. he asked the aurors if they let the bird enter, but got denied by them, adding to the suspicion.

Apolline shot multiple detection charms toward the letter but found no trace of magic on it. Monsieur used his wand to open the letter from a distance and a page dropped out. He opened it magically and say it was written in French.

[Dear Monsieur Delacour

Minister of MCPF

I believe you already know me, as I may have left an... impression on you. But I assure you I was as startled at the incident as you. I do not know what caused this, but I had a bout of accidental magic burst there for some unknown reason. I am aware that writing this won't stop you from worrying or ease your suspicion, but I had to write to explain myself since I'm sure your children would have been scared because of the incident. While it was not in my control, I apologize for what happened. And you would never see me again.

Your 'attacker',

Nunya B.Snez

]

Both husband and wife looked at each other, confused at the contents. Accidental magic? That happens with kids. And even if that was the case, how did he disappear without control over magic? Both dove into their occulmacy to analyze the incident and after a while they both noticed something.

The boy had turned towards the three ladies after hearing Monsieur's last name, which indicated he must have realized they were veelas and turned around. Apolline had seen him look at her in curiosity, and then turn towards her eldest daughter when he suddenly staggered and they felt the magical pressure.

While they couldn't move because of the overwhelming sensation, they were able to see his reaction now and saw how he too was panicking due to losing control, when his eyes looked like they became dull, and then his hand emitted a bright Lumos, after which he disappeared.

They came back to the present and shared their observation, which made them worried that something had happened to her daughter. And something had indeed happened, as the girl in question was calming her younger sister and wondering why she didn't feel the same pressure as her family, but as if it was a warm and cozy embrace.

*3 Months Later*

"That should be almost all. I did not count for any who were already away from the camp." Grim spoke to what seemed like a group of hard-face wizards, all in dark-blue battle robes.

"We would handle the strangers. Thank you for everything, Grim. This would have been very hard for us, and may have even resulted in a few deaths." The leader of the group thanked him and looked at him with respect.

"Happy to help. Just send me a message if you need any more jobs for me to complete." Grim said and shook hands with the leader, then extended his wings and flew away.

"Damn, how does he do that?" One of the guys asked.

"Some in the department say it's an artifact." His teammates mentioned.

Their leader just stared at the flying figure who disappeared into the skies and turned towards his team, "Alright, ya brats. The mad dog has solved the major problem, now it's time to get that area back. Get ready!"

""YES SIR"" His team responded and went to prepare. The leader was one of the few people in Bulgaria aware of Grim's reputation outside of the country. He had even gone ahead and confronted the boy, much to the shock of the officials, but Grim explained it was because of him attacking a wizard who was torturing muggles, and he turned out to be a noble, who painted him as some dark lord, cutting off his business.

While Bulgaria wasn't the richest magical country, Grim was more than satisfied to do a job at a much less cost than they would have to pay to ensure the arrangements of the mission by the aurors. After all, even with the tense conditions, the country still supported a quidditch team. Also, he gained the title of 'Mad Dog' soon after a few hunts, with those he brought back scared shitless, nearly becoming mad with fear. The captain didn't know what kind of life the boy lived to have become this strong, he was happy to get help, and actually glad at the British ministry's incompetence in making someone as powerful as Grim come here.
