"Why is the day so long today?", said Raghav, taking a deep breath.
Raghav was missing Manvi a lot, he had never remembered anyone to such an extent, but he didn't know why?,Now, he yearned to see just a glimpse of Maanvi.
Raghav leaned back on chair and close his eyes. Raghav opened his eyes after keeping his eyes closed for some time and then started checking the list of vehicles coming to the college every day lying in front of him.
"May I come in sir?", Raghav heard a familiar voice and immediately looked towards the door with a surprised face.
This voice was of Manvi. Raghav had a different glow on his face as soon as he saw Manvi.
Raghav said, "Yes please", looking at Manvi with a smile.
As soon as both of them looked at each other, their faces lit up, along with their hearts and lips, it seems to be like as if their eyes were also laughing.
It seemed as if time had stopped there, but in order not to make the situation more awkward, Raghav removes his eyes from Maanvi and starts talking to Maanvi.
Raghav said to Manvi, "You..You weren't coming today?, I told you to take rest at home, right, you should have rested at home today,
Raghav's words were completely different from his feelings. When he saw Maanvi, his heart was very happy from inside. The joy of seeing Maanvi was clearly visible in Raghav's eyes.
Maanvi moving towards her chair said to Raghav, "Yes... but I am fine and I had to submit some work ; today is the deadline for submission, Manvi said with making an excuse.
Maanvi speaks without looking at Raghav. Manvi knew that she was just lying, but also she could not tell Raghav that she was unable to live without him for a whole day, so she found this excuse best .
"Ah… how nice it feels to be back here", said Manvi aloud, sitting in her chair.
Raghav looked at her and smiled.
Maanvi turned to Raghav and asked, "Okay.. Mr. Officer, is there any work for me to do?".
Raghav immediately said, "No, not now, I have checked all the files today, now I have to go to the areas around the college for checking. So I am taking out for checking now.
"Nice!Can I come with you too?", Please take me with you too", please.. please, Maanvi asked Raghav while standing from the chair and making a puppy face.
"But",... Raghav was about to say something but Maanvi cut his talk in the middle.
"I... actually knows every place in this city";"So your help will also be there, even your assistant should be with you everywhere", Maanvi said to Raghav making an innocent face and stood beside him.
Raghav smiled and said, "Yes, yes... it's sounds good, let's go then."
Both were feeling very good with each other. Now there was happiness on both of their faces. Since morning, the faces of both of them which were withered, blossomed just on seeing each other.
Suddenly, Maanvi saw a puppy of a dog and looking at the dog said, "Oh wow it is so cute."
Raghav, looking at the dog, asked Manvi, "Do you like dogs?"
Manvi, caressing the dog, replied, "Yes... I am an animal lover."Raghav again started looking at Manvi's happy face with a smile.
The very next moment raghav , said, "Come on now sit in the car, otherwise we will be late."
Manvi shook her head and said, "Yes, yes... let's go."
Maanvi informs Raghav about every place but after sometime she falls asleep herself.
Unaware of this, Raghav asked, "Where are we going next?".
But Manvi did not give any answer as she was sleeping.
Raghav asked again, "Oh... hello! Are you sleeping?,." Still there was no reply from Manvi.
Raghav turned his neck and looked at Maanvi, while sleeping, Maanvi was looking even more lovely.
he said to himself, "Oh... she slept again, probably because of yesterday's weakness ; she is still not okk properly.
Raghav parked the car aside so that Maanvi's sleep would not be disturbed and turned towards Maanvi , Raghav was very happy to see Maanvi in front of him and seeing her sleeping like a baby girl.
Raghav put his hand on Manvi's cheek and smiled and said, "Well.. you look so cute while sleeping?,."
Raghav did not know when he comes to close to manvi , then Manvi turned sidewise in sleep and put her head on Raghav's shoulder and started speaking in sleep but Raghav did not understand anything whatever she was saying.
"What.. what are you saying?", Raghav laughed and asked Maanvi.
Manvi had made Raghav's shoulder as a pillow, she kept her head on Raghav's shoulder and Raghav also became her pillow happily.
Raghav, placing his hand on Manvi's shoulder, said, "Thank you Maanvi for coming into my life ..Askim!"
Raghav lovingly push the hair on Manvi's face behind his ear with the fingers of his hand and gently kissed Manvi on his head
" "I wish you always stay with me like this for the whole life ", raghav said getting emotional .
For about half an hour, Raghav was sitting on Manvi holding on to him.
After half an hour of sleep, Maanvi opened her eyes and found that she was sleeping with her head on Raghav's shoulder.
As soon as Maanvi raised her head and saw Raghav, she quickly backed down and said hurriedly, "I.....I'm sorry..."I'm so sorry Mr. Officer, why didn't you wake me up?,she made a nervous and blushing face.
Raghav laughed and said, "I had tried my best to wake you up, Manvi, but you didn't wake up.
But Raghav did not even try to wake Maanvi even once, he was just saying this to tease her.
Maanvi's cheeks turned red like tomatoes, Maanvi rolled her neck and started looking out the window.
