Chapter 4: Ch-4

October 1-15th of 1918

The Soviet had taken the Ukraine region by the end of September which was being pacified by non other than Stalin himself, of the survivors many would eventually make there way to Easter Russia.

While along the Yenisei river, Ivan Yakovlevich the leader of the Far eastern front not wanting to be considered weak by his fellow generals launched an all out assault along the river.

————-

The first signs of the attack were stopped by observation balloons, as a wave of bodies charged at the bridge that connected both eastern and western Krasnoyarsk (the largest city on the river).

At 9 am in the morning the city was shaken by a massive wave of noise as the loyalist fired thousands of rounds into the human waves that charged the bridge.

*Craack* Aleksei Dmitriev of the heavy machine gun battalion hand had become stuck, in a normal combat situation this would be a death sentence but he was a gunner and his finger wouldn't let off the trigger.

He didn't even notice was the ironic part as his attention was on the wave of death that he was witnessing, he survived the Great War and saw the mound of bodies that were buried in mass graves as many couldn't be identified He knew that it would be repeated again today, but he did he duty like any soldier should.

So he continued too fire, into the wave. But the bodies continued to pill up and act as cover for the incoming Soviet soldiers.

His trance like state was then broke as his belt feeder slapped his shoulder.

Belt-"Command sent order to get cover. Come on!!" Just as belt pulled him deeper into the trench but not before he saw it.

A huge explosion shook the city as command sent the order to blow the bridge and a cloud of blood, guts and bodies blew skyward covering the surrounding town in red.

[This explosion would cause bodies to flow as far as the artic sea and body part would be continued to be found in the surrounding woods for the next 20 years]

After that event the Soviets halted there attack on the city proper but this event would be mirrored along the entire river, but Aleksei decided in that moment he hated war almost as he hated the commies...almost."

————-

The fighting wouldn't stop for the next two weeks as the Soviet generals completely disregard there losses and lied to there leader ship on Moscow.

This would last till the loyalist had begun to sneak men across the river to sabotage the Soviets moral and supplies, well they were men but the Soviets considered them monsters.

Nikolai over the past couple of months had been promoted a number of times and constantly proved his abilities in close quarters combat and with the addition training in gorilla warfare his name had become legend among both armies.

The Czarina had also taken personal notice of his unit and made a special destination for what they do, they were to be called the Night Stalkers.

Being equipped with weapons and technology that non of them had seen before you side of science fiction books; Rifles that could select fire, night vision goggles, and armor that could take a pistol shot and you keep going.

Most crazy of all they were all personally built by the Czarina herself down to the stitching of the socks they were given, in addition she gave them a not detailed how much she appreciated and respected the men of the squad and promised them a great deal when the war was over.

So when the attacks on the river began there order were to sneak across and do what ever it took to destroy the morale of the enemy within international law as observers from all over the western world had been arriving near the front.

[The armor is a mix of FNV Ranger and Gorka 4/ Tachanka from RS6]

First was the food, they spread psychedelics on the rations first which put a lot of men out of commission. When they tried to hunt they placed a device that sent out a noise unable to be heard by human years which made the animals run far away.

Next was there ammo which was already shitty compared to what they had, the storage areas were sabotaged for water to ruin the powered or timers.

Last was there sleep, they would constantly change when they would set off explosions, mortars, fires, or even stick bombs to make any there lives hell. This is when most of the casualties happed beside the poisonings as men would be so exhausted they would sleep right through there tents getting set on fire and die of smoke inhalation.

Skirmishes would occur for an additional month as Anastasia fought to get a peace agreement between the two nations, which the Soviets constantly refused, but that changed when the propaganda was proven wrong by foreign newspapers that Anastasia allowed to view the front.

The loyalist casualties were in the low hundreds from Soviet artillery and mortars, while the Soviet casualties were close to 50,000 across the entire far East front. The blame would be placed on Ivan Yakovlevich the Soviet commander of the Fat Eastern front, officially he took his own life in shame but In actuality he was murder by his own men and his body thrown in the river.

With the Soviet citizens wanted an end to the fighting as they what they considered the true homeland and of the Russian people and needed to stabilize there rule of Eastern Europe.

So on on the day of the new year after almost two years of fighting and slaughter peace between the Soviet peoples republic and Imperial Russia had been reached.

The peace agreement would take place in Switzerland land in Geneva, as talks were on going for the rules of war that are to be implemented.

For the land distribution, The Soviets would retain control over over the lands West of the Yenisei River, and Imperial would officially recognize the government of the Soviets. While the imperials would control the lands East of the Yenisei River, in addition to Manchuria and Mongolia.

As for the navy, most of it was still loyal to the Imperial Government and would be escorted by the allied forces and dock in Vladivostok, No other equipment would change hands.

In addition the bodies of the royal families are to be found and given to the imperial government, and a non aggression treaty for a period of no more than ten years.

Anastasia knew that the peace wouldn't last after that as well with the rise of the Nazis and the Soviets not willing to allow a royal this close, but she was going to be ready.
