Chapter 4: Contract (1): learning to be a gentleman
It was already noon time, and Alex was seen glancing through some files, He had been busy lately and he had a lot of pending contracts, the ringing of his phone made him lose his focus
"Hello Mom," he said fully aware he had forgotten that he had to have dinner with his mom.
"Meet me at greenwoods restaurant"the call abruptly went to an end.
he entered his car and drove out of the parking lot as he passed a familiar route to the Greenville restaurant

Mia was waiting for a taxi when she noticed some thug of boys coming closer to her, she subconsciously moved a step away but before she could think of leaving the environment she was pulled by them.
"Hey beauty, why are you out here at night" she heard a voice
"What a damsel, let's get a taste from you"
"Of course, we have been blessed with a treat tonight"
She heard them speak, she knew she was In danger. she tried to force herself out of their grip, when one of the guys used his hands to touch her face as he traced her facial features with the tip of his finger, sensing the danger she spat on him still trying to let go of their grip.
"Smack"
The guy she spat on seemed to be furious as he slapped her making her land on the ground.
"We're done here, either you cooperate or we force you to comply"
In an attempt to tear off her clothes, a voice was heard.
"Leave now when I am giving you a chance," Alex said smirking devilishly
They were in fear but they masked it
"We know your intentions, you could join us to have fun with her," the leader said chuckling, but his smile didn't last long as a punch landed on his face.
Soon the rape case turned into a punching case
Mia was still on the ground as she whimpered.... Alex squatted down to her, as he thought of what to say
"Ehm.." he cleared his throat, oblivious of what to say.
Mia heard what was said by the other guys but she never expected Alex to be here
Before she could talk she was lifted in the air, Alex had carried her in bridal style as he took long stripes into his car... she took in his warmth but soon the warmth seemed to leave when he dropped her in the passenger seat and he took the driver's seat.
Instantly Alex pressed a button and the doors were locked.
"Yo... You... What are you doing."Alex didn't reply instead he was moving closer to her. only then did the words of the boys who tried to rape her came to her mind.
"You... Move away from me" she said trying to unlock the door, she had been saved from one and she couldn't witness another. Was her virginity put to the test. she couldn't help but think.
She subconsciously pushed Alex making him jolt back to his seat
"Hey!!! Woman, do you expect me to have sex with you after saving you from being raped" he said annoyingly.
"Eh...." That was when Mia realized she had been thinking wildly.
A call came in disrupting Alex's gaze on her, it was his mom he answered the call
"I....." Mia spoke. "Could. this woman is not silent" he said to himself annoyingly, the fact she knew he was answering a call was known so what was the need to speak
"Mom?"
"I've been waiting for almost an hour for you, what's taking you so long"
"I had an important thing to do," He said "Now she's important" his subconscious mind snapped. Unknown to him, his mom had heard Mia's words.
"You are with a girl?" his mom said grinning ear to ear
"That's not it mom"
"Then what? Wait! Did you hurt my daughter-in-law?
Are you scolding her?"
Hearing his mother's words he couldn't decide whether to laugh or cry
"Mom, I'll see you later... hmm"
"Okay, Take care of my daughter-in-law "Before he could protest he heard a beep, his mother was always like this.
"What should I Say to you?" This little woman was enough to make him speechless
"I. I'm sorry"
"You should," He said giving her a side glare.
He ignited the car engine as he drove Mia to her apartment. Mia wasn't surprised that he k ew where she was living, he had done a thorough check on her Information regarding the last time incident. The car ride was very silent as both refused to make a sound
"We've arrived"Mia nodded as she stepped out of the car into her apartment.
she couldn't even thank him he thought furiously, he called one of the hibodyguardsdsd to guard her as he knew the incident might be planned, Who the hell would want to have sex with a girl in an open place? He thought
"It was nighttime if they happened to do it only moans could be heard" his subconscious snapped. That was true she was lucky his car's front light was on or he wouldn't have noticed.
He sighed helplessly as he drove to Carlos's home.
"I never expected you to come to my noble home, President Yang" Carlos said In surprise when he saw The great Alexander Yang at his door, he was the one who always visited him and not vice versa
"Cut the crap" he heard Alex say as he sat on his sofa.
"Any problem?" Carlos could guess Alex was here for something.
While Alex just sat in a daze contemplating how to bring the words out of his mouth. This girl had made him look stupid as this was the second time he was speechless, thanks to her.
