Chapter 40: A irritating idiot must be showed his place
News of my return spread throughout the academy.
At the end of every class, students from nearby classrooms would rush to the classroom to see if the rumors were true.
However, because they were not allowed to enter the classroom, these students were only able to look at him through the door and windows.
"Holy shit! It's true! Oswald is actually alive!"
"How long do you think it will take him to remember everything?"
"Only God knows."
"I wonder why the school authorities didn't hand him over to the law even after he murdered three students!!!"
"Don't say that, you idiot!!"

There was not many students who actually wanted to talk to me.
They either avoided me or tried to make some excuses if they met me.
But I was not completely avoided. There was some students who would still talk to me. One of them was Tia Barnett.
Tia Barnett is a cute girl with bright red hair. She is the only little sister of the crimson witch, Helia Barnett.
Although Tia has a really fierce side and a competitive nature, she still shows a cute and friendly side to me.
"Can you tell me a little more about myself? At least who I was before I lost my memories." I asked Tia.
"Of course! Should we start from the beginning?"
"Sure." I nodded.
Thus, Tia began telling me about my own past from the day I started school.
"You had actually joined the school only a few days ago. At the starting, you looked like a cold and scary personality. When I first saw you, I felt the strong aura around you that I wanted to surpass. That day I tried to approach you for a duel but it went very bad for me. Although you accepted the duel, I fought with my sword but you didn't even unsheathe your sword. Just a blink from you and it felt as if thousands of swords had pierced my body. I don't remember much after that because I fainted. When I woke up next day, I tried to make you a friend and you happily agreed. Later a gang of bullies tried to bully you. They fired a spell that hit you on the head. At that moment, a scythe appeared in your hands out of nowhere and you slashed it towards them. When the school authorities found you, you were lying on the ground unconscious and their were many pieces of meat on the ground. Three heads were hanging from the ceiling with countless scars on them."
"The scene was so cruel that many students fainted and many had a truma that would last lifelong. After that day, you were named as the 'Vicious Murderer Oswald'!"
'Vicious murderer Oswald? Atleast now I know how I got such a nick name...' I thought to myself.
"Even the witches were scared of your actions!! Only a few students, including me, thought that you were actually quite awesome! We were seriously going to rebel against the academy if they expelled you."
"Witches?" I raised my eyebrows.
"Yes, they're a special title given to talented magic students with a certain magic aptitude. All Witches have S-Rank in Magic Talent. In other words, they're all geniuses."
"Speaking of witches, you actually have a girlfriend who is a witch although she had only been your girlfriend for one day before the incident happened." Tia suddenly said with a irritated and jealous tone.
"What? I have a girlfriend?" My eyes widened with shock, as this was the thing he least expected to hear.
"Yes, her name is Valery, and she's one of the few elite students in this academy."
"Valery…" I repeated her name in a dazed voice. In the original novel, Valery was Leo's girlfriend until he died.
After the final class ended, I stood up and prepared to leave.
"Where are you going, Oswald? Let's talk some more! We still have a lot to tell you!" Tia Barnett spoke with a pout.
"Sorry, but I promised Miss Camille that I'd see her as soon as my classes are done. We can speak tomorrow." I said.
After waving at the students, I walked out of the classroom. I met Leo outside the class and we started making our way to the infirmary.
While we were crossing the corridor, many students flocked towards Leo. Suddenly a loud and angry voice came from the crowd.
"Get out of the way, you trash!"
"I swear I'll fucking blow everyone here away with my magic! I'll give you all three seconds! Three…! Two…!"
The students there quickly made way for this person.
Leo narrowed his eyes slightly when he saw this person.
Short green hair and a gangster-looking face.
Kayn, the rude person, was one of many bullies that Leo had to deal with in his old world, so it wasn't too surprising for Leo.
"Hahaha! You're really alive! This is great! I thought I would never get the chance to take revenge on you for what you've done to me after hearing that you'd kicked the bucket! Now that you're back, fight me, Leo!" Kayn shouted while pointing his finger at Leo.
Leo took a deep breath and spoke in a calm but puzzled voice, "I'm sorry, but who are you? I'm suffering from amnesia, so I don't remember you…"
"I don't care if you have your memories or not! Fight me!"
"Sorry, but I'm a little busy right now. Perhaps we can deal with this another—"
"Either you accept my challenge or I beat you up right here and now!"
Leo gritted his teeth in frustration. He just wanted to live a peaceful life but here someone bullies him again. Seeing Leo getting frustrated, I decided to see how the situation would turn out.
"What's this? Are you scared?! HAHAHA! I can't believe my eyes! To think I'd get to see such an expression on the Sword Emperor's face in my life!" Kayn laughed madly.
"Who said I'm scared?" Leo suddenly spoke with his hands grasped tightly into fists.
"You want to fight? Sure, I'll fight you. However, I won't do it now. Give me one month and I will fight you. My body is still recovering from some serious injuries, so I won't be able to fight you properly now. Unless you don't mind fighting a man who's basically crippled. You won't be satisfied even if you win such a fight, right?"
There was one thing the current Leo and the old Leo had in common— that they would always fight back the bullies. This was also the thing that made Leo, idol for all the students.
There was one thing he hated more than losing, and that was giving up on himself.
The hallway turned dead silent after Leo accepted Kayn's challenge under certain conditions.
"What's stopping me from acting ahead of schedule and beating you up now, huh?! If you don't dare to fight me, how about I take this chick beside you?! " Kayn showed Leo a grim smile.
I looked around to see who he was talking about.
"Oi bitch? You are his new girlfriend? How about you become my girlfriend after I beat the shit out of this Leo?!" He said with a wide smirk on his face as he swiped his hand through his hair while looking at me.
"You mean... Me?" I asked in confusion.
"Ofcourse!! Who the hell do you think I am talking to?!" His face turned dark.
Wait a minute... Although I know that I look a little feminine, it doesn't mean that you can just assume me a girl. It seems that I must beat some sense into him.
I closed my eyes and rubbed my forehead with my fingers.
"Oh? Are you scared little girl?" Kayn continued his talk.
Kayn was busy in boasting about himself so he didn't notice how the surrounding atmosphere started to change.
The students, who had quieted down at his arrival, were now trying hard to stop their laughter, many were looking at him with pity in their eyes and many were trembling by thinking of the consequences of his actions.
While Kayn was still talking shit, I opened my eyes and glared at him.
My weapon affinity started to react wildly as all the weapons in the whole corridor started to shake wildly.
Kayn was right now seeing thousands of swords all around him. All his surroundings had turned black and only thing visible to him were those swords.
His bully attitude immediately vanished and his whole body started to tremble in fear.
*Puch..*
One of the sword rushed forward and pierced his stomach but it didn't stop there.
All the swords started to move towards him and enter his body. The pain he felt was just beyond his comprehension.
After a fews seconds, that felt like years for him, he finally came back to reality.
His face was covered in tears and snot but he didn't care about his face right now. He quickly put his hands on his stomach and tried to check the wound but to his surprise, the wound was not there.
"I- I am alive?!" He cried.
Everything he saw just now was just a glimpse of infinite weapon affinity but the pain was intensified a thousand times.
"My gun is much bigger than what you could even dream of in all your life." I coldly said to him but I don't think he heard it. Afterall he immediately fainted.
