Chapter 9: First kiss
" I want to reject you. Is there something i can do for you to help me reject you. Or perhaps you have to reject me". Daisy was definitely not expecting this. She knew he wanted to reject her but she didn't know that he will ever ask her for her suggestion. Maybe she could tell him about the deal she thought about. But yet again, she was scared he might just turn her down.
" I am giving you the chance to say anything you want. Ones its for my own good, and yours , i will pay heed to it ". Emidio was hearing her thoughts so he had to do something to make her say it. Daisy narrowed her gaze at him with uncertainty. She took in a deep breath before speaking.
" i...". A deep growl was heard . She jumped with fear as her eyes stared at Emidio with shock. The growl was coming from him and his eyes had lightened up than it normally was. It was just like yesterday when he dragged her to the cage. Daisy didn't know what was going on but she sure was scared. Emidio's eyes suddenly dimmed and he cleared his throat before glaring at Pedro who was lusting after his mate. Pedro scratched his head with shame . He couldn't stop himself when he saw her walk in. It felt like the sunlight had been magnified . She was just so beautiful. He heard some ladies say she was ugly but what he was seeing was a goddess. Emidio's growl almost killed him. How dare him lust after his alpha's mate. That was a sin but he knew his best friend wouldn't punish him for today. Emidio shifted his gaze back to Daisy .She looked scared and frightened.
" No need to tell me your plan. I accept it ". Emidio said to her hastily.
" Wha.. but you haven't hear..". Daisy was speaking when Emidio interrupted.
" You wish to pretend to be couples in front of your family ". Daisy gasped with surprise. How in the world did he know? Is he a magician also ?. While thinking, her body felt cold as her gaze suddenly turned blur. Daisy began to step forward towards him. She didn't know what was wrong with her but she moved forward till she was inches close. Her thoughts was blank and Emidio couldn't know what was going on. Her closeness was already affecting him . Pedro was confused as to what was going on. He stood up and walked out, leaving both mates together. Daisy continued to move close as Emidio held her waist. He couldn't help it. He smashed his lips on hers for just a second before letting go. He looked at her with anger which got washed away instantly. Her eyes were closed and her beautiful lips shivered . oh Daisy, you surely are toxic. Emidio thought before smashing his lips on hers again. The circumstance of kissing was unexpected and they both held each other tight. Maybe it was because he saw her naked, maybe that was why they were lusting after each other dearly. The fact that such a thought suddenly rose in Daisy's head made Emidio to moan and break the kiss. They both opened their eyes and for a second, they looked like a couple until Daisy jumped back and even fell.
" I'm sorry. Please i swear i don't know what happened to me. I have never even kissed before and.. are you laughing?". Daisy was scared that he would punish her only to see him laugh.
" I took it as a training. We would be pretending to be couples won't we. You must know that you will have to tell me all i need to know about your ex fiancée. You aren't having your revenge tomorrow.
