Chapter 3: Introduction

"Hello, class! Today we have a student who couldn't be here yesterday. Please introduce yourself," Announced a female teacher happily.

I walked into the room, a smile on my face. A few gasps resonated around the room.

"Hello, everyone. My name is Seraph Avaricious, but I prefer to be called Adrian. I hope we get along," I announced. My smile became even wider as I scanned the room.

I looked at an empty seat before walking toward it and sitting down.

Feeling the awkward silence that filled the classroom as soon as I arrived, I smiled strangely. "Can we start the lesson?"

"Of course," said the teacher as she began to speak. Though her words went on deaf ears as I couldn't be bothered to listen.

Halfway through the lesson, I couldn't help but be annoyed by the constant glances directed toward me. Though the glances from a few students in the class didn't annoy me as much.

"Ah, yes. System, show me my stats,"

[Of course.]

Feeling a familiar gaze, I turned around to see a pink-haired girl looking at me.

I gave her a wave before turning back around, attracting the attention of a particular protagonist and a succubus whose face became darker. And a few other students, who started whispering.

"That's all class, for now," Announced the teacher causing most students to either pack up and leave or rush to the new student.

"Hey, do you have a girlfriend?" Asked a female student

"Hey, what kind of monster are you?" Asked another student

Being bombarded with questions, I smiled. "I don't have a girlfriend, and I know the rules, so I can't tell you my monster identity, sorry,"

I spoke, gathering quite a crowd of people who started asking other questions that I couldn't be bothered to answer or listen to.

'How annoying. They're like filthy rodents that I can't kill.' I wasn't used to it, you know? Not being able to kill whoever I wanted.

If my persona weren't the key to getting Moka and the other heroines to fall for me and isolate the poor Tsukune, I would've just been an asshole and left. But, unfortunately for me, it was. This must be my punishment for my countless sins in my old world. Listening to the weak and pitiful.

"Sorry, everyone, I have to get going. I have a few things to do." I said, much to the displeasure of the girls' and the men's pleasure. Nevertheless, they let me leave.

Walking out of the classroom, I explored the academy a bit until I saw a pink-haired girl leaning on the wall, drinking what I believe to be tomato juice.

"Jerk," Muttered the girl, displeasure evident on her stunning face.

"Who's the jerk?" I asked, attracting the attention of the pink-haired girl, who seemed greatly startled by my presence.

"H-how long were you there for?"

"Oh, not long. I just heard you saying something about a jerk."

Hearing my response, the girl sighed with relief.

"Hmm... From your reaction, I'm most likely not the jerk. So, the person you're talking about must be the brown-haired kid from earlier."

"H-how did you know?" Asked the girl, once again startled.

"Well, I saw him running away from you before you know what happened."

The girl's eyes widened, but slight relief appeared on her face. "So, you are the one that saved me. I didn't see you when we walked back, so I got worried, but I'm glad you're fine," said the girl, smiling. Her smile put me at ease. "As for that brown-haired boy you were talking about, his name is Tsukune."

"Oh... If you're fine with talking to me, I would be glad to hear what Tsukune did to earn his jerk title. That is if you're willing to talk to me about it."

"Well..." The girl seemed to be thinking about my offer, and after a few seconds, she began to speak. "Well... This morning I saw him with another girl, and I don't know what she is to him."

"Well... I'm sorry to hear that. But don't be so quick to assume they're having an affair. I doubt anyone would be stupid enough to cheat on someone like you."

"Huh?" The girl's face turned scarlet, and she quickly waved her hands in front of me. "W-we're not in a relationship!"

"Really?!" An embarrassed expression appeared on my face. "I'm sorry for the misunderstanding."

"N-no, it's fine!"

I didn't like where this conversation was going, so I did as I was taught and tried to fucking leave. "Well, it was nice to meet you, Moka, but I've gotta go!" I said, waving towards the girl as I started walking away, only to be stopped.

"Wait." Shivers went down my back, as the pink-haired vampire called out to me. "I wanted to say thank you for saving me." 'Oh, thank the gods.'

"Oh, you don't have to thank me. It was the least I could've done considering what could've happened, " I said, smiling gently, before walking away. "Oh, by the way. Next time, if a man makes you chase after them, don't. They're clearly undeserving of your attention." I said, and with that done, I left, smirking as the sweet chime of the System made my day even better.

[Ding! Tsukune loses 10 Fortune Value due to the Main Female Lead, Moka, gaining a deeper impression of the Heavenly Villain. 100 Fate Points Gained!]
