Chapter 9: Jade spear city
Forgery was one of the secondary classes in the Realm of spirituality. It deals with the forging of Weapons and equipments. Xuan Yuan didn't expect to come across them so early. According to information, secondary classes can only be unlocked at cities.
'Why am I so lucky? First, a Berserk skill and now a secondary class'
He's indeed lucky compared to others. Currently only a small fraction if players have unlocked secondary classes. And they are all in cities. Normally, for Forgery, one would have to increase favourable points with the Blacksmiths before they can acquire the class but having the note saved him a lot as he could directly find the Blacksmith and acquire the class. Now he just need to reach level 10, get the City migration quest and head for the city...
Xuan Yuan walked back to the street full of smiles. He was just happy about his gains today. Now, no one among his mates could match up to him in strength. He'll crush them should they encounter him...
Even though it's barely been a day, the Martial art skills he'd learned previously which he thought would waste now played a great role. Even though he wasn't on the level of experts, he still fared better than noobs...
He followed the system Map and headed to grind levels in order to quickly reach level 10 as soon as possible...
4 (12 in game) hours later...
He slew the big lizard Boss in front of him and rose to level 10.
'Finally!!' He sighed.
After 12 hours worth of intense grinding he finally rose to level 10. The game designers are really despicable. The difference between level 9 and level 10 was so huge so much that the combined EXP from level 0-9 is not enough to fill level 10. Even Xuan Yuan who grinded solo took 12 hours to level up. If it were other Parties, they'd have taken a whole day to achieve the same result.
In Realm of Spirituality, Players who form teams to grind monsters have to share the EXP equally, the only inequality is that, the player that lands the final blow gets 50% of EXP. So it's quite difficult for Teams to level up.
He also unlocked a skill.

Conjures the blade of defense that blocks 80% of damage received.

He made his way out of the fine forest and proceeded to the Adventurers association hall.
This Hall was in a three storey building tens of metres high located in the center region of the town. It serves mainly to give out quests to players and as such players will only get their migration quest from the association.
Xuan Yuan entered the association hall and met a groups of players standing in front of the main counter receiving quests. At another corner, players formed a line in front of a female NPC who was giving out the city migration quests.
"Lord Rabbit executioner, what business do you have in our Adventurers association?" The female NPC asked as he joined the line obviously attracted by his title.
'Rabbit executioner?' The other players were surprised.
"I wanted to meet the Blacksmith in Jade spear city and was told to find you first" Xuan Yuan said.
"Oh! Please come forward" She gestured.
Xuan Yuan walked to the front of the line under the scrutiny of the players.
"Fuck!! That's unfair, we've been standing here for hours waiting for the quest yet he get to acquire the quest when he just arrived!" One of the players said.
"You better be careful, what if he's an expert? He even got the Receptionist to invite him over. It's just one person, he will leave soon!" Another said...
<City migration quest> common
Head to Jade spear city and meet the Blacksmith.
Level requirement: Level 10...
Xuan Yuan accepted the quest, paid 10 silver coins and received the Teleportation token, then made his way to the teleportation formation in the town...
As he reached the place, he handed the token to the NPC in charge who activated the formation for him and he left the town...

Jade Spear city was the fifth ranked city in Red sea Kingdom. According to records the player population is about 10000 which is quite much compared to other cities where only about 7000 players have migrated there.
Currently, their are 7 Guilds in the City who are struggling to grow despite the oppression from native NPC guilds.
Xuan Yuan was surprised as he entered the city. As he looked at the tall buildings, dungeons, auction arena, shops etc. Some of which Rising moon town lacks he concluded that even in the game, cities are more prosperous than towns...
As soon as he reached the city, he logged off to get some sleep, he'd visit the Blacksmith later...
In the morning, before going to school, he browsed through the forums of the Realm of Spirituality.
On the forums, there was a video that looked quite eye-catching. Despite been posted it already have over 100,000 clicks and views.
ONE-SIDED FIGHT WITH THE CITY GUARDS!
It was recorded in Gold Path City, the neighboring city of Jade Spear city. Apparently, a players got into conflict with a Team led by a Tier 1 player and sought safety in the city while being chased down by the team.
As he was killed, the city Guards confronted them and a fight ensued. The Tier 2 Guards effortlessly wiped out the team of seven and threw them into prison.
That was understandable though, the highest leveled player in the game was just a Level 25 Tier 1 expert. Fighting against Level 100+ Tier 2 city Guards was impossible at this stage.
