Chapter 3: Recognition
Getting suited up for my match with Saeko I was actually excited to see how capable she is as she is one of the heroines of this world. Putting the equipment on I walked out of the locker room and made my way towards Saeko. Walking towards her I noticed that she was staring at me as if checking me out so I decided to tease her.
"Oya, the heiress of the Busujima clan is checking me out, I'm flattered.", I teased.
*Ding*

'I got to check how the people I came into contact with feel about me later' I thought to myself.
There was a small blush on her face as she turned her head away from me. Before she could respond though I asked if she was ready for the match. As I said this she began calming herself down for the upcoming match. As we were about to start I decided to make the match a little more interesting.
"Hey Saeko, let's make this interesting.", I said with a smirk.
"And how do you want to make this interesting?", she questioned.
"Winner gets to ask the loser for one favor as long as it doesn't come across their morals or rules." I proposed.
"Hmmm.", she hummed to herself thinking about the proposal. "I have no problem with this as long as the conditions are met."
"Hahaha, now let's start the match.", excitement laced in my voice.
After I said this the match began, increasing the distance between us. Saeko slowly began to circle around me looking for any opening or weaknesses to use to her advantage. For about 30 seconds she continued to check for any flaws until at one point she began to sharply attack me.
She sent a quick vertical slash to my head which was met with a hard block. Blow after blow was being continually thrown at me but was met with serious defense. I wanted to gauge her strength and skill through this and she did not disappoint. The blows flew at me and they were either dodged perfectly or blocked. But this did not confuse Saeko on the contrary, seeing that the opponent copes with her blows with ease, she started increasing the pressure of her blows. Faster and faster. Until at one point she was doing her absolute best.
*Ding*

Realizing this her fighting spirit fluttered and her competitive spirit was set ablaze. Without realizing it she started smiling sincerely during the fight. As the fight progressed I started to get more on the offensive side forcing Saeko to go defensive. A quick diagonal slash to the head was narrowly avoided by Saeko, as Kira then did a vertical slash downwards making her stumble a bit to deliver the final blow to her foot, making her fall over declaring Kira as the winner.
As Saeko was tired from pushing herself, I gently took the bokken away from Saeko and got her a water bottle from a nearby vending machine. As I walked back there was a deathly silence in the dojo, which was broken by Saeko's deep breathing.
Her chest rose and fell in time with her rapid breathing. It looked pretty sexy, but she was too tired to notice it. Taking off her helmet, she started speaking.
"I lost but I learned a lot from this match. Thank you Kira.", she said with a flushed face and beaming smile.
*Ding*

"It's been a while since I've gotten to practice this well with someone.", I said with a smile as I gave her the water bottle.
"Is this a good fight though?, she asked, "I couldn't even get you to be serious."
"No you couldn't make me serious but that doesn't mean you can't improve your skill and strength. I'm not saying this to comfort you since this might be an insult to a warrior like you but it's just a fact. Even so you still did great and as an apology for my rude remarks all I can offer you is daily workouts with me." I said bluntly.
"I wasn't offended by you, Kira. But joint training is great. To be honest I was going to suggest it myself.", she said with a bright smile.
"Oh yeah since I won I get one request from you right?", I said with a smile. As she was about to respond I said "I'll save this request for when I need it since I can't think of anything at this moment.
She looked at me for a few seconds then sighed as she said "Alright but let's first get you registered then we can go back home since it's getting late.
After getting registered we separated and I returned home. After having dinner and taking a shower, I decided to check the other functions of his system since I was busy preparing myself for Z-day.

When the shop opened I was flabbergasted by the items I saw in there. There were legendary and mythical weapons such as Durandal, Excalibur, Gungir, and Mjölnir. There were also a lot of other things such as elixirs, potions and grimoires as well.
As I was scrolling through the items I started to think about what I should get vs what I want because I don't want to be over reliant on the system just in case it's ever taken away from me. So I want to be able to wield weapons, magic and knowledge myself without using the system.
As I was about to start coming up with an idea for this problem I realized that it was getting late so I decided to get some much needed sleep before thinking about this problem.
Then I fell asleep.

In a spacious room, a girl was lying on a bed. Her hair streamed down on the pillow, a satisfied smile was exhibited on her face, a dreamy look was fixed on the ceiling. All this suggests is that the girl is thinking something pleasant.
Saeko POV
It was INCREDIBLE! That drive! That power! God it was beautiful! For the first time I experienced such pleasure from a battle. My blood was literally boiling inside me. Although my father is a master of combat, he is already quite old and despite his skill he can no longer keep up with my speed.
And Kira could. He literally swallowed me up without a trace. His overwhelming power and blazing spirit. And the skills are higher than anyone else's I've ever fought. Even then, two years ago when I provoked and broke the bones of the rapist. Even then I didn't feel such strong emotions.
God, I'm wet.
Kira POV
Waking up I saw that I had notifications from the system and when I checked it my mouth dropped. The affection points from Saeko went from 45 to 69(Budding Love). As I was thinking how this happened I remembered that Saeko is a sadist and that she loves battle. Thinking this I smiled. I can't say that I'm in love with her as this is the first time I met her but I am attracted to her. Getting up I took a shower, ate breakfast and started making my way to school.
While walking to school I began thinking about what to do if the system is ever taken away. As I had already known martial arts and various other skills because of my past life I already had a base I could work on.
'Ever since I came to this world I wondered if they have 'that' here.', I remembered, 'If they really do have that present in this world then I could have a higher success rate of survivability when Z-day starts.'
Getting to the school I stopped my thoughts for now and made my way towards the Kendo club ignoring all the stares and whispers coming from the students. Once I got there I saw Saeko thinking about something so I quietly went to the locker room and got changed. After a few minutes I came out of the locker room to see Saeko doing stretches.
"Working hard huh." I said as I announced my presence.
"Well I have to if I want to beat you" she smiled.
"Haha true no amount of natural talent trumps hard work.", I smiled back, "So are you ready for the training? Just to let you know the training is going to be rigorous and difficult."
"I'm ready, let's do it,"she said with determination.
"Kukuku I hope you don't regret it." I said with a smile that almost made her regret her decision.
