Chapter 2: Where It All Started.
My name is Kyla Anderson, i had a normal life and a normal job i often read novels to cope up with this boring reality that i live in, until one day in my day off everything changed.....
Ahhh finally, its my day off! and today's the day that my favorite author's fan meet, ahhhh! I cant wait to finally see her in person.
She took a bath, change and ate quickly and got off, but as she was about to open the door her phone vibrated and she received a text message from an unknown number it stated, Something unexpected will happen to you today.
"Huh, who sended me this? And the number of the sender is unknown."
"Hmm..., weird."
As she noticed the time on her phone she panicked since she was in a hurry and she just deleted the message and pretended like nothing happened.
She then continued to open her door and went off to the location of the fan meet.
Right after she arrived, she waited in line just like everybody who attended.
When it was finally her turn she got nervous and excited at the same time.
As she entered she saw her, ''Oh my goshhh, its really you! Im such a huge fan of your book, it was such a good read.''
She smiled and signed her book after that she gave her a handshake and said, "Thank you so much for reading my series, i am really grateful for all of the support that you readers are giving me."
"No, thank you for writing your book, i really enjoyed reading it so much."
Her time ended, the guard told her to let the next person in.
The author then just wave goodbye to me.
As she walked out of the place she thought, ahhhh, i finally did it! Im so happy that she signed my book. Well anyways since its a little early im gonna grab some Starbucks and food for celebration.
When she was about to buy some, rain started pouring unexpectedly, "Huh? The forecast said that it was gonna be all sunny today, did they made a mistake?"
Since she remember that her grandmother's house was closest from that location she went there instead.
As she arrived she was soaking wet at her grandma's terrace since she didn't expect anything like this to happen, as she rang the door bell no one answered, but luckily the door was unlocked so she entered the house with no prior notice.
As she got in, she closed the door since it was really windy, then suddenly a loud banging noise came from the attic.
She got surprised and thought, oh god what the hell was that!, she immediately grabbed an umbrella and went to the attic to see if anyone was there.
After opening the attic door she sneakily went inside, "Is anyone here... ?" , as she looked around she saw a reflection of a shining hazel brown hair right infront of her.
Her eyes widened, she then approached it to see what it was. As she got closer she noticed that it was moving, she thought that she was watching an old vintage tv.
As she touched the mirror's surface she then got suprised and stated, "woah its 3d dimensional to, its feels like i can go all the way through.", unexpectedly it pulled her in.
"Wait ahhhhh!"

*Bang!* *bang!* *bang!*
"Lady Odette!, do you admit your crimes for murdering the daughter of the marquise?!"
What? Where am i? my head feels really dizzy.
"Lady Odette, did you not hear me!"
As i got my senses back i noticed that the room that im in was different, i wasn't in my grandmother's basement anymore.
I got shocked and panicked, as i looked around i realised that i was inside a court room while my hands were cuffed, i was so surprised at the whole situation until when i looked across the room i could see a look of a familiar face that i saw from a novel illustration, that's when i realised that im inside a novel where I've once read about before.
I thought, Ho-how is this possible?, is this really happening?
*Bang!*
"This is your last warning, Lady Odette! do you admit your crimes for murdering the daughter of the marquise?!"
I gritted my teeth and calmed my emotions down since i didn't know what i was feeling, i took a deep breath and exhaled it all out.
Anyways since he called me that then i must be the one and only lady Odette La Archambeau one of the villainess of this story called A Maidens Prophecy, and this situation that im in right now must be the trial arc where the cause of her death happened.
In this part of the story Odette got accused for murdering the daughter of the marquise, if i don't do anything right know i will definitely die in this situation, so clenched my fist and i straightened my posture and defended my self.
''No i didn't, your honor!"
An angered voice answered, ''you wench! how dare you say something so shamelessly after killing my only daughter!''
As i side eyed him i thought, well his actions is to be expected since the scene did look like i was the one who murdered her, but in reality i was framed and he did truly cherish her daughter, im really sorry for your loss but i did not do it.
''Your honor, may i please state my own testimony?''
''Yes, you may proceed.''
From what i remembered, it was Ivy who killed her, yup that bitch who kept faking her tears over there and framed me for it, Ivy kept manipulating her and instructed her to lock me in a room so i could not attend the ball, but Ivy's real plan was to actually stab her with a knife and framed me for it.
''As your honor may already know, i do not have a good personality nor a good reputation in the empire but! , i will never murder someone just so i could achieve my goal, although it is quite true that i resort to physical voilence cause i am short tempered but i will never go to such extent of killing someone for my own benefit.''
''So are you saying that someone framed you?''
''Yes, your honor that mybe the case.''
Ivy then interrupted, ''shes lying your honor!, i saw it with my own eyes that she stabbed and killed her! she was even aiming at me luckily i shouted as loudly as i could so i could be saved hic!"
Never ending tears fell down from Ivy's eyes.
As i heard the false words coming out from her mouth, i grinned and thought, shes a good actress.
''Your honor, if i got solid proof that i didn't kill her will i choose the punishment that the guilty will encounter?''
Everyone in the court room was suprised about my sudden request.
''Well then please provide us, lady Odette.''
I dont know if this will work but i need to survive! And i dont wanna die this early yet.
''Can anyone in here please bring me a mirror?''
Murmurs and whispers scattered through out the court room.
The prince glared at her since he was also present in the trial.
''Here you go, my lady.''
''Thank you.''
Luckily there was a spying spell that was written on the novel and since the Archambeau family has a lineage of mages. I can use it, i don't know if i can actually do it, but im all out of options and as of now this is the only idea that i have, so please work and change this twisted fate of mine!
She then grabbed the mirror and incited the spell.
She closed her eyes and concentrated the mana that was inside her unexpectedly the mirror glowed, the magic worked it showed everything that happened at that moment.
She opened her eyes, she smiled and felt happy.
''Does this evidence satisfies my innocence, your honor?"
Everyone was indeed shocked about finding the truth.
''Since lady Odette showed us a proper evidence please state on how lady Ivy will be punished.''
She smirked, ''i wish for lady Ivy to be physically beaten up for a week and behead her after that your honor.''
''Very well, Knights take her away!"
*Bang*
Ivy's face was dumbfounded at the end, when the knights grabbed her she shouted.
''No! no! no!, let me go! why did you. Why are you doing this to me? you're ruining everything!''
I gave her a small grin and replied, ''Oh my, Lady Ivy you took someone elses life right? so they'll take yours to, as the saying goes an eye for an eye and a life for a life and you were dumb enough to underestimate me.''
''No noooooooo!, father please help me anyone pleas-''
Her own father glared and ignored her.
When everything was over i sighed with relief knowing that i survived, but suddenly someone unexpectedly hugged me, "Odette im so happy that you won."
As i looked at him i realised that it was Odettes father who was hugging me, right know i somehow feel quite nervous since i dont know what to say or do.
As i put a thought about it the safest thing to do right about now is to hug him back and tell him, "Thank you so much for defending me all the way father."
Cause in the story actually he was the only one who took my side and did everything for my sake, but since the oroginal Odette didn't defend her self she lost the trial and died.
He smiled at her, ''Well im glad that it's finally over."
As he stopped hugging her he continued by, "I need to sort out these papers, so ill see you in a little bit ok?''
I looked at him feeling relieved, "Yes father, of course."
As he left i thought, haiz thank God i had a proper conversation with him, i was so nervous that I thought i would carelessly mess up, but! thats not the real issue right know, i unexpectedly got transmigrated here and i don't know what's going on, well atleast for now the best option is to go back to Odette's mansion and think of a way to get back to my real word.
