Chapter 9: The Goblin Dungeon - 9th Chapter
I woke up , but this time no one was knocking on my door thankfully. We agreed to go when everyone wakes up and if someone is taking too long we'll just wake them up.
I went outside of my room to eat something in the tavern and I met Mamadou. We greeted each other. With a wave and started talking.
Me - "You're quite an early bird aren't you?"
Mamadou - "Yeah back on Earth I woke up quite early everyday , what are you going to order?"
"I have no clue , what did you order?"
"A steak made out of some livestock animal in this world with rice. I am pretty surprised they have rice here."
"There are a little bit too many similarities between this world and our world. Anyways I'll trust your judgment and I will order the same thing."
"Are you ready for today's Dungeon Raid?"
"More prepared then I'll ever be , I am not quite sure what to expect."
The waitress came to our table and gave Mamadou his food she also asked me if I want anything.
Waitress - "Good morning Sir , are you going to order anything?"
Me - "Yes , I'll have the same thing he's having."
Waitress - "Allright that'll be 2 bronze coins."
I gave her the money and continued my conversation with Mamadou , we were discussing about what we think could he inside the dungeon.
Sevelar minutes later Lisa came down the stairs , sat with us and joined our conversation. She also ordered the same thing I and Mamadou are having. To be honest it was really good.
Soon the others started going down stairs one after another. And all of us were now sitting at a table.
We talked over our strategies and tactics and set out to the dungeon.
We weren't expecting any monsters on the way , but just in case we took our formation.
The dungeon is few kilometres away , it shouldn't take too long to get there. BUT of course we have to meet something on our way there.
[Warning a large pack of monsters in the Area]
Anders - "Get ready everyone."
I couldn't believe my eyes , around 20 Dire Wolfs appeared in front of us. TWENTY , well that would be a problem if I was alone but I am not.

We went through them like a breeze , but Fenhua got bit in his leg. Thankfully it was a very small
wound , so we started moving again pretty soon.
While we were reaching the Dungeon I was thinking. Why whenever I am going somewhere I end up in a troublesome situation? There might be something to it. Though I am probably just overthinking it , it's probably just a bad luck.
We arrived at the Dungeon entry , the entry was like some entry to a cave of sort. Mamadou and Fenhua stopped for a moment.
Me - "What's Up?"
Fenhua - "Nothing much , it's just scary being in the front lines." He said while he was sighing out of worry.
I walked up to them and joined the front lines. Anders joined us too.
Anders - "I don't think the enemies will be attacking from behind too much , or at all. I am joining the front line too."
We confidently walked in the Dungeon.
[WARNING: AN ARMY OF ENEMIES AHEAD]
Mamadou - "Well , let's hope we can do this."
After descending for a while we reached a big hall of sort. The entire place was lit up with torches. This was some kind of a camp , there were tents , the Goblins were talking to eachother and there were also watchtowers with Goblins with bows and crossbows on them.
We hid and started talking about our strategy. We decided to send Hwa-Young , Lisa and Chinami on one of the towers to take it over and give Lisa a good sniping spot.
Meanwhile the others , including me were going to literally charge into the middle of the camp and start distracting everyone. This is very risky because of the archers on the towers. But we had a plan.
First of all I sold everything I got from killing Anna besides the shield she had. Anders and Mamadou figured we might need some shields so they bought some big low quality wooden shields for a cheap price at the market and carried them in their Inventory.
We got in the middle of the camp and started shouting at the goblins. I can say one and only thing for sure which is that it worked. All of the goblins started rushing towards us like some madmen.
There were three watchtowers , we pulled out shields out of our inventories and aimed them towards the towers while hiding behind them.
Some people were holding the shields while some were fighting. But this strategy started to fall apart after more and more and MORE goblins showed up.

I noticed that Lisa was already at one of the watchtowers and Hwa-Young and Chinami were nowhere to be seen. That means that they are moving towards one of the other towers.
Me - "HEY GUYS I THINK WE SHOULD LET GO OF OUR SHIELDS AND RUSH FOR THAT TOWER OVER THERE!"
I pointed at the tower that Lisa was shooting at. I assumed that Chinami and Hwa-Young went for the other tower. That meant that they would take it out and then we would be safe under the third tower , the goblins can't shoot below themselves after all.
But there was one issue and that was Lisa , it won't take too long until some of the goblins start climbing on her tower , that means that someone has to go and support her. My role is to help anyone who needs help the most.
Mamadou - "Allright let's let go of the shields on the count of three."
Anders - "ONE!"
Mamadou - "TWO!"
Everyone in the middle - "THREE!!!"
Everyone started running towards the third tower.
Charlotte noticed that I am going somewhere else.
Charlotte - "MIKE WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?!"
Me - "SOMEONE HAS TO SUPPORT LISA , IF THE GOBLINS START CLIMBING ON HER TOWER SHE WON'T BE ABLE TO DEFEND HERSELF!"
Charlotte said something to the others , they nodded and then she quickly ran towards me.
"What are you doing?" I said.
"I can't leave you alone , that's too risky." She answered.
"Thank you , feeling much safer now."
After I said it I realized that it sounded like a complete irony but whatever.
We started climbing on the tower , Charlotte went first and I stayed behind for a little bit. I fought the goblins who were in the front , closest to us.

"GET YOUR ASS UP HERE!!!" Charlotte said that with a very frustrated tone.
I don't know what happened but allright. I started climbing and got on top. When I reached the top Chinami and Hwa-Young already took out their tower. And Fenhua , Mamadou and Anders took theirs too.
Now all we needed to do was to deal with the goblins below us. They started climbing the ladder , one by one. That made it much easier for us to defeat them.

"How much experience do I have?"

I recently found out that I can ask the voice a question about my status/equipment and she can answer it without me needing to open my status. Pretty handy.
I sighed and sat down , everyone sighed out of relieve, somehow we defeated
the first camp , hopefully the only camp there is.
Mamadou - "HEY EVERYONE LET'S TAKE A SHORT BREAK , WHEN YOU'RE READY JUST GO DOWN FROM YOUR TOWER , ONCE EVERYONE IS DOWN WE'LL CONTINUE!"
Me and Chinami - "ALRIGHT!"
Everyone was too exhausted to meet up, so we just stayed with whoever we were , on our tower.
Lisa leveled up and started talking to her system about allocating points etc.
Charlotte - "Hey , why do you keep doing such a dangerous "stunts" ?" She looked at me.
Me - "What do you mean?"
Charlotte - "You know what I mean , you could've died down there!"
Me - "I am sorry , it won't happen again."
Charlotte looked at me as if she wasn't expecting an apology , neither was I but I had no energy to argue.
Charlotte - "Well as long as you understand."
After few minutes everyone went down , we regrouped and took our formation again. The way continued with a narrow path that was similar to the path we came from.
This time tho it wasn't descending but it started to curve a little bit. The entire place was still lit up with torches. Not sure if this is some Dungeon stuff or whatever.
Suddenly we reached another hall but this time it was different. There was an army of goblins waiting for us. And at it's front was a Goblin that looked different.
[Goblin Captain] [D Grade]
A D-grade Captain , this is definitely not the boss I told myself , the reason? Behind the army there was a HUGE door , the only thing that can be behind that door is the real boss , these guys are just guards.
There were too many goblins , but well we have to fight them. We all went head in besides Lisa and Anders. Anders decided to stay behind if some Goblins attacked Lisa , and he was right.

"MAJO , CHINAMI" Shouted Anders as there were around FIFTEEN goblins coming towards him and Lisa.
Me and Chinami quickly ran to flank the Goblins and it worked quite well too.

It didn't take us too long to kill everyone. No one suffered any major damage but the Captain gave us a bit of trouble. D-Grade enemies can be still quite troublesome.
We regrouped and decided to wait for some time before going to fight the boss. First we ate our lunch that we got from the tavern and we talked about what could the boss be like.
After I finished my lunch I took my level up rewards. This time it was six Point skills not five. I wonder if it increases by one each five levels.

I gave myself three points to Speed , two points to Vigor and one point to Durability. After discussing our
special strategy for the boss fight we went inside the boss room , and what we saw was insane...
