"I think to compensate 20 hunters we should all choose hybrid classes like paladins and druids to tank and heal and leave you with Priest as a dedicated healer. Because, you are prime and your protection is more crucial than anything else, you also as a dedicated healer will let us fight without restraint. In fact, 20 hunters is not a bad idea because we can fight risky and not to worry about individual injury and damage." The Math nerd gave his opinion.
"I disagree." Said the other one.
"Why?" The Math Nerd questioned.
*SMACK*
He hit the Math nerd head and Everybody felt someone just touched their head.
"We are not immune and certainly not at all immune to pain, maybe because of pain and damage equal distribution we did not felt much or the pain at all but we did felt something and with enough pain it will be unbearable for all of us so we should not go into this unhealthy route of mindset and also it will reveal or hint towards our only secret and unique thing about us."
"And that is?"
"We are one." He paused for effect. "I agree with team composition but we should all not stay together. Hunter class has different specialisation to make the difference and versatility. Like Bounty hunter spec is good for tracking and long range sniping with guns."
"We have guns!?" He asked enthusiastically.
"Please share the information." One of them asked to which he focused and got all the information from the Math nerd and the other one and shared it with everyone.
"Okay, I understand both of you. Now let me share my strategy. We need long range, mid range and close range DPS along with Tanks to mitigate the critical situation and me in the centre with Healing but I think we need two dedicated healers if somehow I am incapacitated or silenced. You will be the second dedicated healer." He pointed at the Math Nerd and he didn't disagree.
"Now before we decide who wants to be paladin or druid let's first settle the hunter blunder."
He pointed at all the hunters and they all stood separately. "We have Bounty Hunter as long range DPS, Beast Hunter as mid range DPS with beast mastery to own pets for extra DPS and Traps too. Blood Hunter for close combat DPS and assassination skills."
He continued. "Sniper is the longest range weapon and then Longbow. I want Five of you Bounty Hunters, raise your hands if you want to volunteer."
Seven of them raised but then three dropped and then after some up and down five hands were up high.
"You sure?" He asked to confirm because Prime authority is only giving him mixed answers.
They all nodded.
"Alright, then you five will be the Bounty Hunters, Longbow will be your primary choice of weapons and Sniper only when the target is out of range of Longbow, okay? You have two Pistols for close range and smoke grenades for retreat. You will be our eyes and long range scouts too for early warning detectors, stealth proficiency is a must for you. Okay?" He explained the normal strategy and five of them nodded.
He felt like he scolded them too hard earlier for them to not say a word and only nod.
"Now Beast Hunter." Only two guys raised their hands. "I know you all mostly don't like dogs, except for these two but you can also make cats pet if you find anything else, even dragons." He encouraged but didn't believe dragons would be tamable.
Now at least 10 of them raised their hands, the rest who didn't choose hunter class were also feeling to chime in. After again some up and down, another 5 were ready.
"You are our foragers, food supplier and herbalist. In fight or retreat, traps are your early DPS and then you have Shotgun/Crossbow, Machete and your Combat dagger/skinning knife as your primary weapons. Same as Bounty Hunter, avoid your Shotgun because it's loud and only use it when it's highly optimal. You all are our skilled hands. Got it? And when you get a pet then it will get even easier." They also all nodded but this time they smiled.
He felt good seeing their smiles although they were all his own face but still he felt like a big brother looking after his little Bros.
This time five hands were ready for Blood Hunters. "No need to raise hands, all ten of you will be Blood Hunters, Five of you will be my bodyguards and rest will guard Beast Hunters because they have the most important task of food and water. You have Short swords, Daggers and Darts as your main weapons of close combat, your advantage is speed so you have to run first to reinforce if needed. You five my bodyguards will also dress as my servants and friends to act. Okay? " Nobody complained.
"But we all look identical, how it will be possible." Asked one of them. He also felt he forgot a very obvious thing.
"System? Do you have any ideas?"
[I apologise Host, I have no solution to the problem.]
"No worries, everyone will keep their head gear and helmet on always for now while covering their faces. No need for servants and friends now, just faceless brooding bodyguards are enough for now until we get a proper solution for this, okay?"
Now, he turned towards other ten's who didn't choose any classes. "You have chosen any healing class or you will also choose Priest?" He asked the Math nerd.
"I will choose Shaman and Medicine Man spec for low cooldown, short healing along with buffs will be better." The Math nerd answered confidently.
"Good, then we are left with 9 of you, decide yourself, who wants Paladins and Druids?"
Seven of them raised their hands for Paladins and Two for Druids. Technically he does not need Paladin much if he is looking for Tank/Healer hybrid class and Druid is good for shapeshifting and scout with bird form which will be very crucial.
Druids can also be very crucial with its various beast shapeshifting in this jungle.
"Okay, then two of you will be Paladins and will be part of my bodyguards, Both of you will be Shield Brethren Spec, your shield and one handed weapon will be enough to protect and also heal." Five of the extra who raised their hands to be Paladins got sad. "Don't be sad, we all are one and let me tell you a secret, I also want to be a Paladin but I can't, I have to be a Priest for dedicated healer, Paladin can be a dedicated healer but still Priest will be better."
He opened his heart to those sad ones. "Now, five of you will be Druids and use the Beastial Specs. Thorn GreyBear is your Tank mode, Lightning Lance Eagle will be your range mode, Moonblade Panther is your DPS and DewBark Leafant is your healing form."
"Now we are left with two extra, what do you guys want to be?"
"We have too many physical DPS but no Magic DPS so we should choose Magic DPS." Said one of them.
"Agreed." He agreed.
"I will be the Mage, the Thunder Mage!" One of them quickly chose.
"Wow, you want to be Thor and Zeus?" He asked.
"No, Raiden!" The Thunder Mage replied. "We are in the Cultivation world so it's now our greatest chance to play our Mortal Kombat fantasy."
"Oh wow!"
"Yes! And look, my weapon is a catalyst." He quickly turned into his silver sky blue set and showed his floating medallion looking apparatus catalyst weapon clacking with lighting.
He suddenly felt a wave of disappointment from all the hunters. He chuckled, feeling their instant regret. "Let this be a lesson to not make hasty judgments." He reminded all of them.
"Okay, then I will be frost mage and become Sub-Zero."
"STOP! What did I just tell you to not make hasty decisions? You will not be frost mage or another mage but warlock, Soul Warlock and become Shang Tsung." He gave another good idea.
The hasty one who wanted to be frost mage liked the idea and quickly chose the Warlock class and selected the Soul Spec.
Now everyone has chosen their class and specs so now it's his turn to choose his class and spec.
He quickly chose the Priest Class and selected the Penitent Spec which has the ability not only to heal but take on the debuffs of the target upon himself and resolve it.
Penitent Priest has higher resistance in comparison to any other class along with debuff swap & share makes them very good support.
His primary weapon is praying beads for casting healing magic along with a Slat, a medium length flat wooden stick to discipline others like a Teacher.
His white cloth set also looked like a religious leader, a devout teacher ready to take class and punish children.
"It's all done, now quickly change into your specs and we are ready for action."
[Reminder: Levelling and XP earning is also one but x30 times harder. Please plan accordingly.]
"Tell me something good too." He cried injustice.
[Your stats are all combined into one, which means it's easier to fight and survive, the only thing you need is a good XP farming spot.]
He quickly checked the stats and yes, it's correct. As per the information they all start with initial single digit attributes in Strength, Agility, Intelligence, Attack Power, Magic Power, Armor and Resistance as per their class specifics. But now all of them are multiplied by 30.
Only Agility is much higher than other stats because of Hunter Blunder. However, it's not bad at all because now they have all stats above 250 at level 1. Each and every one is now practically in cheating mode. A walking Raid Party of End game Boss.
This information cheered all of them, getting OP powers from the starting is the best flavour of Isekai.
