Chapter 2: The royal meeting
The hallway are wide, perhaps two bus can enter at the same time, the ceiling is also high with perhaps about two floor.
"I'm sorry about earlier."
Suddenly, Miss Myka apologized.
"For what?"
I ask, genuinely not knowing what the reason. Though I am quite mad about the summoning.
"Telling you such shocking information bluntly. I should've been careful."
Oh, that. I didn't really mind it that much since I was pre-occupied by the face of the king who suddenly and rudely summon and starts to order us around.
"It's fine."
"I see."
After that, no words left spoken until we arrive at our destined room.
"Here lies the current ruler of the empire and any act of disrespect will be seen as-"
"I am no subject, servant, nor people of this world. I don't care about your laws or rules. I am here to speak or to meet with the person who summoned me, I care not for anything. That's all."
The guards were interrupted by my sudden aggressive reply and left speechless as I was guided by Lady Myka inside.

"Y-Your majesty, I have brought Fred, the summoned ons with the power of General Knowledge."
"Mhmm."
Just 'hmm'? Shouldn't he come up to me and greet me like a normal person? Well, I am in 'another world' so it's not like I'm expecting any form of respect here.
Anyways, since I wasn't told to sit, I sit on my own which triggers an unknown reaction from the other people who currently sitting beside the emperor.
"Ehem."
Such signal immediately startled Myka and grab my shoulder.
"Y-you shouldn't sit before they told so."
"Why?"
My sincere face told it all. Why shouldn't I? What's the matter? How can I speak to them? Those are the words the came out from my single words.
"Because it is rude to act without the permission of the ruler."
Suddenly, one of the people, a young one, reply to my sarcastic word.
"Why?"
And again, I asked why.
"Because he is-!"
"Why should I take orders from someone who I don't consider as superior to mine? He who summon me, asking me to be taken away, and suddenly to be calling out as if I'm a mere servant of his. Tell me, if I'm not mistaken, you should be apologizing to me now for acting rude until a moment ago, right?"
"Wha-, you fool! What do you think are you saying? Do you have no manners?"
"Manners? Like what? Suddenly breaking the door open and order me for something I find confusing, threatens me if I do not follow rules, or be told to ask permission before acting as if I am a mere pet?
Since I was summoned I find nothing pleasing. Your king's blatant personality who just ordered around, your guards who have no manners, now this kid who look no younger than me, telling me what to do?
Just so you know, I have far more knowledge than any of you here, meaning I can create a weapon with vast firepower from mere scratch."
My words and threats leave the people inside speechless including Myka, who currently sweating profusely. I find it quite entertaining to see their face of shock.
"I see. So that's how you think of us. Well, I apologize for such disrespectful manner. I apologize on behalf of my son and my servants, truthfully."
"Apologizing won't solve anything in the future unless they change how they interact, I will be accepting your apology but until I hear your son's word of sincerity then I won't be satisfied."
The King who just apologized look at me with gentle eyes, he then look at his son and nod.
"Well, I apologize, it's my fault."
"Not too sincere, but it will do if you change how you talk to me. Then, shall we begin?"
"Then... Myka, please."
The King signal something which Myka seem to have understand, she approach me and asked me something outrageous.
"Can I get inside your head?"
Shock.
That's... Is that a power?
And... Did she just ask me to enter my utmost privacy. Like, why?
"That's not too appropriate, why would you ask that?"
The King and Myka look at me with a restless expression while trying to convince me to accept the offer.
"Anything that is seen or heard within this room will mostly stay within this room."
What the hell is that. That's not even reassuring, 'mostly' like what the fuck. Such phrase only made me uncomfortable of accepting it.
"M-Mister Fred... I promise, I won't show them anything that you find disturbing to others... So please?"
This girl irritates me, not too long she grab my arms, and now she's trying to invade my privacy, is this how people in this world act? Manners didn't even develop that much!
"I don't find that relieving at all, please do stop this nonsense and begin our talks."
My irritation is starting to become obvious, my desire to leave this place is also growing which only worsenn the situation I find in this room.
"It's does make sense, Friedrich Gutenberg. We are here so we can see if you truly have the power you said since most people only claim they have such power to gain status."
"What in the hell does that have to do to me!!! I just got here and don't fucking know what you all are talking about! Power? Claim? Goodness, I don't even care if I am a mere person who lives with his parents! What do I even gain if I said I have such power?! Do I gain wealth, do I gain immortality, do I become a fucking God!?!"
"C-Calm down, Mister Friedrich, please!"
"Stop, Myka. Friedrich, yes. What you said is true, from the most part. You have every rights to care about this world, you are part of this world now. And the last thing you said..., yes, actually, you can be a God."
The last word only made me annoyed more than it has to be.
To speak the name of God lightly. Become a God? Is it that easy for them to become such, because in our world, it's not!
"I care not for anything, I will return to my world."
"Bu-"
"I needn't your permission."
"Wealth, Status, Power, Woman. I will give it to you. I will give Myka to you, or even one of my daughters. Just... Hear us out and comply for now. We will do everything you wish to ask."
What the... Now he's bargaining?! What kind of Ruler is this? What if they lost to war? They lost a territory in exchange of talk? What kind of nonsense is that?!
But it was a good deal, so will let myself hear them out. For now that is... I don't really like what's going on here but with promises a ruler can make, even I find it amusing.
"Fine."
The look on their face once I easily change my mind change to a dim one. It only took them a promise to change my mind, is probably what's in their mind.
"Uhmmm... Myka?"
The emperor who still find the situation confusing, move on and order Myka.
Now that I think about it, she's included to my options, right?
