Synopsis

This novel is similar to Ms.Tan is the real Boss. The thing about this novel and others that I have a problem with is when the FL acts dumb;Especially when she's a genius. Why downplay your smarts??
if only someone can share the Chinese title for this novel. not completely the same storyline real and fake female character..sort of like combination of few novel..for now, the pace still ok not too dragging but release quite slow. I regret reading this as got the potential but with such pace, afraid the novel will be dropped eventually. afraid to comment on detail as might leak out the spoiler

I will be honest... I enjoyed this story more than I anticipated. I say this because I ended up reading 15 chapters in one sitting. It was...captivating. This review is based on the 40 free chapters. I really like the MC's demeanor. She is observant and seems reserved. She doesn't treat her biological family poorly and cuts clean ties with her adoptive family. Definitely will continue reading because I want to know how things go. p.s. I would slap you if I could, Lu Yue'an. You are such a !#@%!@#!@$!@$#$!@#!!
I read over 200 chapters of this dumpster fire because it was free. Its genre is, "young girl is a genius at everything with a bunch of secret identities." Admittedly, that is often my least favorite genre. The reason being that it's often completely unbelievable how such a young person who should be often supervised manages to do so many mature things and even more unbelievable that nobody knows or figures it out. They usually rely on completely ridiculous contradictions to keep the shtick going. Even though the readers actually want everybody to know and be impressed. Yeah. That's this. But it's actually worse than usual because it's trying to be mysterious at the same time! So it's not actually explaining what she's done in the past, or what her abilities are, or why she has those abilities. Everyone in this is a complete vapid idiot except for her little brother. Their behavior has all the rationality and purpose of broken dolls smashing themselves into walls. The FL is supposed to be very smart and repeatedly demonstrates that she's a Sherlock Holmes able to observe and deduce from the smallest of hints. But her head is too far up her own butt to realize that her family is faking being poor. The reason her parents keep faking it stupid. They claim to care about her, but don't care enough to tell her so that she's not constantly worrying and working 3 part time jobs. The FL also isn't just hiding her many adventures and identities, either. She's fully sabotaging her own life for no reason whatsoever. She deliberately gets 0s on all of her tests for all of her subjects. But she wants to start a company in the future. We all know how much the business world loves academic failures! She can literally get any score she wants and she doesn't choose to be average. She chooses to look like an idiot and be disliked by her family and teachers. Nothing makes sense and there's not really even much face slapping, since that would require the FL stopping her act and she doesn't in over 200 chapters. I do not recommend this at all.

I already read the mtl. I have to say that the author is enjoying to tortured the ML and FL. FL was beaten up, shot, coma, tortured again, paralyzed, and blind. ML is quite similar, he's been shot twice and always takes care of FL's needs when she's in a coma or blind. FL's character is not quite powerful but pretty different when compared to other FL in similar stories. She's smart, rich (of course), knows self-defense, and has a bunch of people backing her up but she's fragile.

Well-written albeit there are some unclear and unexplained situations when you surpass half of the story. But still an excellent read. No transmigration or reincarnation. FL is simply a genius, skilled, and talented. ML is your normal rich & powerful CEO who became [extremely] in love with the FL. Female Antagonist is a nonsensical person, just too weak.
I am loving this book, smooth, fast-paced and no extremes in character setting. For e.g., the FL and ML are both super strong but have their soft and sentimental sides. Even their family member character boards are very natural and well balanced.
So far Author this book is amazing!!! Please pick it back up n finish it. 🙏 🙏🙏💖🌹🍀🙏🙏🙏
I can't wait to read what happen next! The storyline is different to what I've read in the past (reborn, cheating partner, evil sister, bad parents, etc.) and I'm all for it! Moreover, I got my #smallbun satisfaction with Li Jingzhi >< Gimme more chapters, Author-sama!
