Walking through the forest, I start to ponder that in 6 months time, the plot will finally start.
It will took me at least 3 months to go back to the Valentine duchy.
"Well aren't I smart..... I'm in the southern part of the empire just for 1 item I failed to find."
Yeah I failed to get one item, and that was the [Mithril Steel].
"It should have here, I also need to upgrade [Grass Cutter]."
For at least 3 years, [Grass Cutter] was always with me.
It was my companion, despite it's easy to carry weight and it's mobility, it was not good enough.
Sad but true.
Everytime I use this There's some mystery in this sword.
It's as if it gather enough mana, it can burst it out.

After that brief notification, the potion came right infront of me.
I quickly held it in my hand to examine it.
It has a very luxurious container and emits a lot of life within it.

In my last life in the [Forbidden Realm] I was always hunted in my first years, so I always buy these potions.
And Imma say, this potion was a top notch, it taste like wine yet it's fruity aftertaste was the best part of this potion.

I stored the potion within the system inventory.
The system inventory have infinite storage within it. I also store the bird's corpse and the egg.
The time stops in the system inventory. Though I edited it to not stop the egg's hatch.
"I bet a few weeks from now the egg will hatch."

Looking to where the sound was I only found a little cub.
A black cub.

The cub barked at me.
It was a black direwolf cub, with a lot of injuries on it's body.
"Who in their right mind would injure a direwolf?"
Direwolves are the guardians of forest, they are literally protected by the god of nature.

The little cub only took a step towards me.
I also took a step to meet it, when I'm finally getting close, the cub collapsed on the ground.

"Hey! What a poor cub."

I picked up the potion and immediately popped it's cork.

I bathed the direwolf with potion, to heal it's injuries.
Splash!!
"Looks like it was effective."
The injuries of the direwolf miraculously healed but it looks like this little cub was tired.
Sigh
"Looks like I'm just going to bring you back home."
Direwolves often go with packs, they never hunt nor roam alone, it was either this cub got lost or it's pack was already dead.
"But well I can sense that this cub was only alone."
"Might as well take it back home."
I said as I carry the cub in my arms.
My journey continued for 2 months, and the egg has successfully hatched.
It was a Ruinous thunder sparrow as well but it was more lighter in color.
As of now both the bird and the cub was my travel companions alongside my servants.
Now that I think about it, I didn't think Viselock and Shannon liked cute things huh.
I guess they both have that side to them.
Currently I am walking through my destination which was a portal gate.

I said as I placed the cub on my head and the bird on my shoulders.
I also named them respectively.
Blacky and Chirpy.
That should do it.
But that damn Shannon just laugh at me once again.
Both Blacky and Chirpy are good names though.
Well after a few persuasion from Shannon I've decided to change it to both Finch and Risa.
Finch was for the direwolf as I came to know that it was a boy and Risa to the sparrow because it was the opposite.

Another month has passed and after almost 4 years I am finally back home.
[Valentine Duchy]
"Well nothing feels like home."
I said as I go towards the gate, I've also notified my father that was currently in the duchy that I'm going to be back niw for the academy.
"Arf!"
"Kyu!!"
Both of them seems to be also excited.
"Shall we?"
"Kyuu!"
"Arf Arf!"
"Ohh?"
I can see a silhouette within the gates of the Valentines, that same silhouette that was always by my side before I go through my adventures.
"Welcome home Young master~."
Her voice was as sweet as ever.
"Yeah, I'm home... Rebecca."
