Chapter 7: Chapter Seven
"So, you gave her the advice?"
Kenji nodded at the question as we walked out of the dorm building.
"Did it work out?"
Ayanokoji nodded.
"Yeah, she made some really good points to Sudo about Basketball..."
Kenji chuckled walking to the vending machine but his eyes narrowed as he neared it, hearing a conversation. His hand went to his pocket as he and his companion neared the corner, silently listening. Taking out his phone, he handed it to Ayanokoji and turned on the recording.
Seemingly getting the idea, he took the phone and held it up as Kenji walked out of the corner, casually walking closer just as the male of the two slammed the smaller figures hand to the wall, holding her there.
Kenji's hand twitched, muscles coiling in preparation just as the student council president, Horikita Manabu pulled his other hand back, ready to slam his palm into Suzunes stomach.
His hand snapped forward, being intercepted by Kenji grabbing it mid-strike.
"My my, oh my..."
The first-year commented with a smile on his face, looking at the taller boy as he clenched the offending hand.
"You seem mighty comfortable with what you are doing, am I to assume that this isn't the first time?"
The black-haired teen's eyes narrowed behind his glasses as he tried to pull the hand away.
"Kenji... Stop it..."
Suzune mumbled and he glanced at her. She was avoiding his eyes, looking down at the ground. Kenji eyed her for a moment before sighing and letting the older teen go.
As the older of the Horikitas was pulling his hand away, it snapped toward his face suddenly. Kenji leaned to the side with an unimpressed look as the older boy took the chance to take a step back and send a picture-perfect kick at him.
Eyebrow quirking, Kenji raised both his hands, grabbing the leg and bending his knees as he swiveled on his left foot, getting his shoulder under his opponent's knee.
Standing up, and pulling the leg down, he brought the older boy over his shoulder, sending him to the ground face-first. Raising his hands, Manabu stopped his descent with his hands.
Undeterred, he twisted his leg that was still in his grasp, forcing him on his back, Pushing his hand forward, Kenji grabbed the other leg the student president tried to kick him with and did the only thing that was Logical.
Pushing both of his legs forward, he forced the older students lower body up and sat down on his thighs.
"... Get off me."
Kenji hummed, keeping the legs in place with his forearms as he cross his own leg over the other.
"Nah, you make a comfortable chair, President."
He grinned down at the glasses wearing teen, not really impressed by the skills displayed, did he think he was a kung-fu master or that this was some anime?
"But being a chair, a quite comfortable one at that is the least of your worries..."
His grin turned into a smirk as he pointed at the place he came out of and waved Ayanokoji over. Suzune was unusually quiet, just watching this all unfold.
Ayanokoji came over and handed me my phone, playing back the recording, I turned it to Manabu and started playing it.
"Could you imagine what scandal it would cause if this got out?"
He chuckled.
"A student council president, attacking a first year, his own sister at that, Expulsion will be the least of your worries, after all, this school cares a lot about its reputation..."
Manabus's eyes narrowed as he glared up at the first year using him as a chair.
"What do you want?"
Kenji smirked, now this he liked, straight to the point.
"100 thousand points."
The glare, if possible, intensified.
"Blackmail?"
Kenji hummed in response, seemingly thinking over the remifications.
"200 thousand."
The smirk that challenged the late was no less smug. Kenji did not expect to come across this gold mine.
"You think you can get away with this?"
Kenji just shrugged.
"300 thousand."
At this point, he was just being an asshole, and he loved it.
"Fine..."
Smiling pleasantly, he got off the older boy, allowing him to stand up.
"How do you expect to do this?"
His question was logical, but I just shrugged, handing my phone to Ayanokoji.
"A third party, obviously, I send myself the points, you delete the video."
Kenji commented offhandedly, waiting for Manabu to do the same. second year looked at him in the eyes, their gaze meeting each other in challenge, before he finally pulled out his phone, unlocking it and handing it to Ayanokoji.
The brown haired boy, being the neutral party that he is, just switched the phones without complaint, handing Kenji Manabus phone and vise-versa.
With a few taps of the scree, the transaction was completed, and I was 300 thousand points richer. Smiling like he didn't just extort the most important student in this school, Kenji handed the phone back to Ayanokoji and got his phone back soon after.
The video was deleted, but he had more points so he considered this a win.
"Your name is Kenji, right?"
The said teen nodded, pocketing his phone.
"The student who got sixty nine points in his entrance exams, and the recent mock exam too... Tell me, are you making fun of the education system?"
Kenji, who was totally doing that, shook his head in response.
"What? Me? I would never..."
He got a blank stare in return that seemed to pierce his very soul, until the one looking at him like that finally turned around to leave, looking at Suzune who was just standing there, trying to process what happened.
"Looks like you made some... interesting friends, Suzune... Maybe you are not a lost cause yet..."
His eyes glanced back at Kenji, who was looking at him like a hawk about to dive in for the kill.
"I will keep an eye on you... Kenji Ayanokoji."
