Chapter 13: Fast Time Progression.
August 25, 2010
Sensei and Talia al Ghul revive Ra's al Ghul in a Lazarus Pit. Shortly after, Clayface also rises from the pit after his fall and death during a fight with Batman and Robin. Ra's al Ghul decides to send the monster to Gotham City as retaliation for his failed mission.
August 26,
A barrel is delivered to the Wayne Foundation building. Clayface jumps out and attacks the guards and Lucius. Batman and Robin try to stop him but are defeated. Batman sends the team after Clayface until he can come up with a solution.
August 27,
After searching, the team finds Clayface (or vice versa) in the sewers. Aqualad, Miss Martian, Robin, Kid Flash, Alex, and Superboy fight Clayface. After a fight, Clayface escapes. The team is boarding the Bio-Ship, trying to track Clayface. They decide to split up to find him. Clayface lures them to be alone and ambushes them one by one. The mission against Clayface ends in disaster, with Batman stepping in to save them.
While the team was doing that, Artemis was under arrest at the Star City Police Department. There, she encounters Icicle Jr., an old acquaintance of hers. After that, Artemis reports to Green Arrow what she was able to extract from Junior regarding his intent to be judged as an adult and his desire to be sent to Belle Reve Penitentiary. Later at home, Artemis learns she was given a full Wayne Foundation scholarship to Gotham City Academy. She accepts it for her mother.
Batman has a conference with Aqualad in the cave over his lack of focus. Aqualad returns to Poseidonis and is welcomed by Aquaman. During his stay at home, he learned about his crush. Tula is now in a relationship with his best friend, Garth. Before he's able to understand things, the city is attacked by Black Manta, and with Aquaman sent away, it's up to Garth and Aqualad to defeat him, with the frozen creature Staro being destroyed in all but one piece that's sent to Star Labs.
Dick Grayson vents his frustration in a training room in Wayne Manor while being monitored by Batman and Alfred Pennyworth in the Batcave.
Jay Garrick's birthday is celebrated at the West home. Rudy West, Mary West, Wally West, Barry Allen (Flash), Iris West-Allen, Jay Garrick, and Joan Garrick are present.
Alex spends time meditating and learning.
September 3,
The light's new partner sends the sphere to the Bialyan desert via boom tube.
Aqualad departs Poseidonis and arrives at the cave for a mission briefing that involves a power surge detected in the Bialyan desert.
September 4,
With the team stricken with amnesia, they have forgotten the last six months of their lives, including each other and a final fateful mission in Bialya. Miss Martian encountered Superboy, driven by animal impulse, in the Bialyan desert on the night of a full moon.
Robin observed the Bialyan Republican Guard on route to dispatch Kid Flash and Artemis.
Alex wakes up in the desert, not knowing what's happening since the last thing he remembers is Alfred leaving him alone in a room to sleep.
The team turned to Miss Martian to recover their memories before it was too late for Superboy. With help from Superboy after restoring his memories, Miss Martian managed to defeat Psimon.
In the Atlantic Ocean, Topo, one of Aqualad's friends, is hunted down by the Atlantean purists.
September 5,
Superboy and Miss Martian with the Sphere met with the rest of the team at the Bio-Ship, parked at the Bialya-Qurac border, who were tending to Aqualad. Psimon reported his mission to the Light, where the extraterrestrial sphere that Psimon and the Bialyans were experimenting on was sent by the Light's newest partner from another world.
At the cave, Artemis, Robin, and Kid Flash are on their way home. After they leave, Aqualad invites Superboy, Miss Martian, and Alex to accompany him to Atlantis.
September 6,
Aqualad, Alex, Miss Martian, and Superboy arrive in Shayeris, where they meet Aqualad's parents, Sha'lain'a and Calvin Durham.
Aqualad, Alex, Miss Martian, and Superboy arrive in Poseidonis. Aqualad is told about the purists by Garth and Tula. The purists have a meeting with their leader, Ocean-Master. The purists sneak into the palace to attack Queen Mera. Queen Mera uses her magic to project herself to Aqualad to request his aid after being kidnapped.
September 7,
Aqualad, Superboy, and Miss Martian have a strategy meeting with Prince Orm on how to rescue Queen Mera. later get ambushed.
The Ocean-Master begins extracting Queen Mera's life force to power his trident. He explained that his goal was not to purge Poseidonis of its impure influences but to create a civil war between the capital and the other city-states. Ronal, the purest, overheard this and turned on his former master.
Alex turns into a shark and bites off Ocean-Master's arm, freeing Queen Mera's life force. Missing an arm, Ocean-Master is captured and is reviled as Prince Orm. With that revelation, he was imprisoned by Aquaman.
Later in the cave, Miss Martian and Superboy prepare to go to school. Miss Martian goes by the name "Megan Morse." Superboy is given the name "Conner Kent" by Megan and Martian Manhunter (who had named himself "John Jones", and Red Tornado "John Smith"). Alex refuses to go to school, wanting to self-study. Megan and Conner arrive at school. Conner almost picks a fight with a skateboarding kid, Marvin White, and Megan is invited to cheerleading tryouts by Wendy Harris.
In Taipei, GBS News reporter Cat Grant covers the peace talks between Singh Manh Li of North Rhelasia and Tseng of South Rhelasia, who have requested an independent arbitrator. Red Arrow is present, tailing the assassin Cheshire. As the mysterious arbitrator arrives, Cheshire attempts to blow up his car, but Red Arrow stops her. Cheshire and Red Arrow fight, and Cheshire is arrested by Taipei Police. The mysterious arbitrator is revealed to be Lex Luthor.
With the help of Aqualad, Red Arrow stops the further attack on the peace treaty, and Sportsmaster hints at a mole.
September 14,
The Terror Twins are bested by Superman and the Martian Manhunter in New Orleans, Louisiana, putting an end to their three-state rampage. Superboy and Miss Martian assume their identities.
September 16,
Disguised as the Terror Twins, Miss Martian and Superboy are transported to Belle Reve Penitentiary, along with Mister Freeze and Icicle Jr.
Later, Amanda Waller and Hugo Strange induct Superboy, Miss Martian, Icicle Jr., and Mister Freeze into Belle Reve.
September 17,
Under the command of Icicle Sr., the inmates of Belle Reve Penitentiary stage a breakout. It is stopped by Superboy and Miss Martian, posing as the Terror Twins.
During that time, Miss Martian and Superboy solidified their relationship and became boyfriend and girlfriend.
September 22,
Artemis wakes up and reminisces about the time her sister left home. Her mother reminds her that this is her first day of school at Gotham Academy. At school, Dick Grayson takes a picture of Artemis and himself at Gotham Academy.
Miss Martian and Superboy are kissing, and the Sphere interrupts them just before Kid Flash walks in. He assumes they are working on Superboy's motorcycle and offers to help. Aqualad discusses with Red Tornado the possibility of a mole.
Robin and Artemis return to the cave that's been taken over by the Red Torpedo and Red Inferno, with them reprogramming the Red Tornado and having the rest of the team taken down with their weaknesses, with Alex being knocked out and drugged to stay down.
Robin and Artemis battle Red Inferno and Red Torpedo in Mount Justice's hangar. With Red Tronado reprogrammed, they retreat and leave the cave.
