Chapter 2: Here Comes The Outrider

At the present time, a certain outrider could be seen patrolling through the streets of Mondtstadt. Given her role, she would usually be outside in the wilderness scouting out for any potential dangers such as newly developed hilichurl camps and so on.

However, with the rather recent environmental dangers brought forth due to Stormterror's influence, her usual job wasn't exactly easy. She'd have to wait for the winds outside of the city to calm down a bit before she could truly go out and patrol the surrounding areas.

Doing so right now was far too dangerous.

Therefore, if she couldn't scout out the wilderness, she might as well patrol around the city. It was better to do something productive rather than just doing nothing, and being the kind of girl she was, she didn't really want to sit around doing nothing.

"Stormterror really is causing a major issue..." Amber, the name of the outrider, couldn't help but frown as she noticed the rather depressing moods of the citizens she walked by. It was no surprise that with Stormterror's influence, everyday business was going to be affected. "Hm? What's this?"

Amber came to an abrupt stop upon finding herself standing in front of a rather peculiar building among the others. Unlike the wooden buildings around it, this one was made of a smooth pure-white marble-like material with various dark-grey accents. Atop the tinted glass entrance door, she saw a fancy plaque that spelt out the words 'XTreme Productions'.

"XTreme Productions? I can't say I've ever heard of it..." Amber tilted her head curiously as she examined the building. Seeing such a strangely designed building was quite a sight, especially amongst the usual architecture she was used to. "A production shop? What does it produce though?"

She had many questions, but ultimately had no answers herself. Therefore, she decided to head on inside to gain some more info. It was her job, being part of the Knights of Favonius, to inspect and make sure nothing suspicious happens in Mondstadt.

"Oh, wow...!"

Upon entering the building, Amber widened her eyes when she felt a warm breeze brushing against her skin, which was very welcoming in comparison to the cold winds currently blowing through the city outside. However, her attention soon completely focused on the interior of the room.

The floor was composed of a light polished wood that made her feel as if she was walking on a smooth crystal, and the walls were painted a pure white, along with the ceiling made of an unfamiliar grey material.

In regards to furniture, she saw a few potted plants around, along with a few doors most likely leading to other rooms. At the back of the room was a decently large receptionist desk, and near the entrance where she came from was what looked to be a lounge area consisting of multiple black leather couches and a coffee table on top of a small rug.

"Oh, welcome! I wasn't exactly expecting any visitors just yet."

Turning her head, Amber noticed a male around the same age as herself standing near one of the other doors. He looked rather handsome, though not in the strong kind of way, more in the elegant and graceful kind of way, as strange as that may sound.

His clothing was simple yet interesting to her, certainly not like anything you'd usually find here in Mondstadt. He looked to be wearing a simple pair of black sleek pants with two pockets on either side of his hips along with another under each of those.

He looked to be wearing a pair of black and white flexible shoes, those being your typical modern running shoes. Finally, covering his upper body was a white t-shirt with blue lining the rings of the sleeves as well as the collar and bottom area.

"G-Greetings, my name is Amber. Outrider of the Knights of Favonius!" Amber stuttered a bit in her introduction upon realising that she had been staring at him in silence. Considering how unique his clothing was, she couldn't really be blamed. "I am merely on patrol, so I was just checking to see what this place was about."

"I see." The male nodded in understanding. "My name is Kazukara Yuito, a pleasure to meet you."

"Yuito...?" Amber seemed to drift into thought for a moment. "Are you perhaps from Inazuma? If I'm not mistaken, your name very much follows their nation's naming convention."

"No, I'm not. Though I can understand your reasoning." Yuito responded with a small wave of his hand. Inazuma was this world's version of Japan, so being Japanese himself, it was natural his name would follow suit. 'Best to not lie in regards to this, I know jack shit about Inazuma. If she starts questioning, I'd be in a damn pickle...'

"I see, my mistake then. What's your purpose here in Mondstadt? I don't believe I've ever seen you before."

"Merely for business, as you can see from my establishment." Yuito honestly felt like he was being interrogated right now, probably because he was being interrogated. "You said that you're here to see what it's all about, right? Since you're the first person to come in, don't worry about any kind of payment today. How about it?"

"That's rather kind of you, I see no reason to decline then. What exactly does this business of yours do?" Amber asked curiously as she took one more glance around the room. There wasn't much she could determine from the room alone. "From your business's name, do you produce something like food?"

"Not exactly, though you can consider it food, just not in the eating sense." Yuito chuckled before gesturing for Amber to follow. With a confused look, Amber followed after Yuito as he lead her into one of the other rooms. "The main attraction is underground, everything above involves production."

Soon enough, Amber followed Yuito down a flight of stairs leading underground, the stairs were covered by a beautiful red carpet with gold lines along the sides, and the tunnel leading down was fully lit up using lights that were built into the side walls.

Amber was curious about how these lights even worked, they didn't look to have anything like a candle placed inside them from what she could tell. That and the light produced by them was vastly different and no doubt stronger than what lamps could produce.

More importantly though...

'How did he build this without anyone noticing?' Amber was a bit concerned. She knew that... the knights weren't exactly the best trained, especially the ones that were still currently stationed here in Mondstadt. But, even they should have noticed the construction of something like this. 'Just who is Yuito?'

No matter how much Amber looked at Yuito, he didn't look to be anything truly out of the ordinary. He didn't look like he had a Vision either, so how was it possible that he could do this on his own? On top of the fact that she had never once seen this shop prior to today.

Whatever the case, Yuito probably wasn't your average everyday person.

"Welcome to the cinema room, one of them at least."

"Cinema room?"

Yuito's words snapped Amber out of her thoughts when she noticed that they were now standing in front of a double-door entranceway, though the doors were certainly not present. Walking through, the entrance led to a short and very dark corridor.

Considering how utterly dark it was, Amber was feeling a bit nervous about where this was even leading. Though, any nervousness quickly vanished when they arrived at the end. Her eyes widened considerably as she now stood in a massive room that had its walls, floor and ceiling all covered by a soft black material.

The room wasn't entirely dark though as there were a few of those strange lights lined up along the walls and the ceiling, allowing her to view the numerous rows of rose-red seats. The most eye-catching thing though was the massive blank screen located at the front of the room.

"Wow..."

"Take a seat, you'll want to get comfortable for this." Chuckling at her reaction, Yuito spoke as Amber gave him a confused look. With a snap of his fingers, the blank screen suddenly flickered on as Amber blinked in surprise while taking a step back. "After all, standing up for over twenty minutes can be a pain."

"One Piece... episode one?"
