The brightness of the hall increased again as the door of the ancestral hall opened once again.
"He arrived just in time," Shung Yun thought as he looked at the middle aged man walking into the ancestral hall and towards the table containing the village's higher-ups.
"We're in trouble," commander Zhu said as his voice rang out in the hall.
"What trouble is bigger than what we're already going through?" Elder Huifan asked while looking at commander Zhu.
"The eradication of our village," commander Zhu uttered in a solemn tone.
"What do you mean by that, junior Zhu?" the old guy of Zhen clan asked.
"I was able to infiltrate into Quing Village and I found out the reason behind the war. All along, the reason behind the war was because of an order given to the chief of Quing Village from an Elder of the Illustrious Star Sect," commander Zhu said to the hearing of the higher-ups.
"This… we're finished," Elder Gui muttered as the expression of defeat on his face became more terrifying.
"Why would an Elder of the Illustrious Star Sect instigate a war between us and Quing Village?" Elder Li said while looking confused.
"Is it an inner court Elder or an outer court Elder?" commander Nai solemnly asked his colleague.
"I couldn't determine if it was an inner court elder or an outer court Elder. But from the clues I was able to put together, I think it's probably an inner court Elder," commander Zhu said to his the head commander of Byui Village's military.
"If it's an inner court Elder, then that will be way worse than facing the entire Quing Village," Elder Long said as his expression turned ugly.
"An inner court Elder of a tier eight sect will be able to mobilize a terrifying force of five upper-stage dantian unsealing realm cultivators, fifteen middle-stage dantian unsealing realm cultivators and twenty five lower-stage dantian unsealing realm cultivators," commander Nai's tone grew graver the further he spoke about the force of an inner court Elder.
"The real question we should be asking is why an inner court Elder of the Illustrious Star Sect would instigate a war between us and Quing Village," clan head Haoran said as he spoke about the most important, as well as, the most terrifying information in regards to their situation.
"Knowing or not knowing the reason no longer matters as long as the enemy is prepared to destroy us to get what he wants. You preparing to hand out what he wants won't change how he feels about us," a casual voice sounded in the damped and cold hall as all eyes turned towards the middle-stage male teenager on the blue colored Byui Village's military uniform littered with blood stains.
"What do you suggest we do, Shung Yun?" commander Nai asked for the young monster's opinion.
"Defile death by either destroying the opponent's forces or forcing the opponent to back down, or embrace the peace brought by death by being too weak to resist the forces of the opponent," Shung Yun's voice continued being casual despite the degree of danger his words entails.
"He's still a kid. He doesn't understand the danger we're currently facing," clan head Xinyi and most of the higher-ups thought as they shook their heads at the tone o Shung Yun's voice and the meaning contained in his words.
"Your plans are too extreme, and it has no fail-safe we can fall back on in case things went bad," commander Nai said as he advised Shung Yun.
"That will force out our dormant potentials and give us a chance to rapidly advance our battle strength," Shung Yun to commander Nai.
"He's really taking this as a joke," the higher-ups were infuriated as they looked unkindly at Shung Yun, not disguising their unhappiness towards him.
"Do you think we're joking here, Shung Yun? Our village will no longer exist if we don't have a way to deal with the inner court Elder of the Illustrious Star Sect," Elder Gui said as he poured out his anger on Shung Yun.
"The village will no longer exist because we're all too weak compared to a single inner court Elder of a tier eight sect. If we take this situation as a life and death challenge, and put all our effort into defeating the plans of the inner court Elder, the I'm sure we won't be at the same level of strength if we prevail and emerge out of the storm," Shung Yun tone remained casual and carefree, contradicting with the grave words contained in his sentences.
"We'll lose the entire efforts made by our generation and the generations of our ancestors if we fail to win against the inner court Elder. We'll lose our entire history and the lives of hundreds and thousands of our clans' descendants," Elder Long said seriously to Shung Yun, trying to explain the graveness of the situation.
"Then, we should immediately get to work if we want to prevent that from happening," saying that, Shung Yun turned towards clan head Bachun, "what does clan head Bachun say?"
Having several gazes turning towards him, clan head Bachun cursed silently as he tried to keep his expression from becoming ugly.
"I support the words of Shung Yun. Only by facing the danger with everything we have can we have a chance of surviving this crises. But I think that we should also do our best to know more about the opponent in order to take preventive measures against his attacks," he said to the higher-ups staring at him with questioning and thoughtful gazes.
"Is there an alliance between the both of them?" the higher-ups thought as they found the actions of Shung Yun and clan head Bachun bizarre.
"This bastard!" viens popped out of the forehead of the previous clan head of Nue Clan, Nue Zirui, as he suppressed himself from exploding out in anger and making a mockery of himself in the presence of his peers.

"Let's get to work!" he said as his tone gave no room for opposition, showing the disposition of a veteran military commander.
