Chapter 1: 1. The Gods of Egypt

The Great Pyramid of Giza is the largest Egyptian pyramid and the tomb of the Fourth Dynasty pharaoh Khufu. Built in the early 26th century BC around 27 years, the pyramid is the oldest of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, and the only one to remain largely intact.
The internal structure consists of three main chambers (the King's-, Queen's- and Subterranean Chamber), the Grand Gallery, and various corridors and shafts.
The pyramid has two entrances: the original and a forced passage, which meet at a junction. From there, one route descends into the Subterranean Chamber, while the other ascends to the Grand Gallery. From the beginning of the gallery three paths can be taken:
a vertical shaft that leads down, past a cave, to meet the descending passage,
a horizontal corridor leading to the Grand hall.

In the grand hall, there was pitch-black darkness.
Suddenly as if by magic the hall was lit up by the candles automatically, which came out of nowhere. In the lobby, there were many seats and a throne. The hall looked like a throne room for the king to hold courts.
In the hall, six beings came out from the door which was behind the throne, the outline of the door was glowing blueish-purple like it was not a door but some kind of portal from another world.
The six beings had the body of a human but the heads of animals and a height of more than 8 ft.
If an Egyptologist or a mythological enthusiast was here he would be surprised to find that these six beings were like Gods and Goddesses of Egyptian mythology, who were members of the Enneads.
The Ennead or Great Ennead was a group of nine deities in Egyptian mythology worshipped at Heliopolis.
The six gods that were present in the hall were Hathor, Osiris, Isis, Tefnut, Shu, and Horus.
Osiris, a green-skinned deity with a pharaoh's beard, partially mummy-wrapped at the legs, wearing a distinctive Atef crown, and holding a symbolic crook and flail walked towards the throne and stood there, while other gods and goddesses walked towards other seats and stood there.
Suddenly there came a sound and a figure dressed in white, with a large bird skull for a head appeared from a door, He looked around at the statues of pharaohs and walked over to a sculpture that looked just like him and stood there.
"Khonshu is this another of your stunt; did you summon us here from the Heliopolis," asked Tefnut the goddess of the rain.
"I have no such powers. why would I summon the great gods of Enneads." Khonshu replied sarcastically.
"I was also summoned" he added.
"Why were you summoned? you've been banished once for nearly exposing us," said Shu.
"spare me your self-righteous remarks! I was banished for not abandoning humanity like the rest of you." Khonshu said.
"We have not abandoned humanity. They abandoned us." Horus retorted.
"Stop quarreling like mortals and find out who summoned us in this realm" Goddess Isis sister-wife of Osiris said with a displeased look.
Just when Khonshu was about to reply, He paused turned his big bird head, and looked behind.
There he saw a goddess with a black cat-like head and golden black clothes coming through the entrance of the hall. She held a bundle wrapped in white garb in her hands.
Khonshu looked at her and sarcastically said, "Ah fellow Goddess Bast I thought you were at the Council of Godheads in the Omnipotence city".
Bast ignored him and walked directly towards the throne.
As she was climbing the stairs Osiris squinted his eyes at the bundle in her hands then looked straight into her eyes solemnly and asked, "Is that a mortal child in your hands?"
Before Bast could reply Khonshu teleported beside her and looked at the child and mockingly said "Did you take part in an orgy organized by Zeus in the Omnipotence city, did you fall so low, to the level of those disgusting Olympians?"
Khonshu stared at the human child, the child had an Egyptian appearance with brown skin, and bright hazel eyes, and the child was staring at him intently as if he was trying to remember something.
Khonshu looked into his eyes while trying to enter his consciousness. but before he was even able to enter the child's mind, he repulsed abruptly.
He held his skeletal head in pain and shouted "impossible! this...this child is no mortal, I can not perceive his presence spiritually; who is this child?"
Bast closed her eyes and shuddered involuntarily. When she opened her eyes, they turned into dazzling golden like the Sun.
She roared " Enough!" Her voice sounded much deeper and buzzing, she walked stiffly towards the throne as if being possessed, and sat down.
Seeing this everyone was stunned and they hurriedly kneeled and bowed their heads.
Osiris took the lead and said " King of the Gods, Amun Ra! God of the Sun! we are at your command."
"Rise!"
Amun Ra slowly looked at Every God's Piercingly and said "I know that we decided long ago that we do not wish to meddle in the affairs of man. But this child is no ordinary human, He was given to me as a boon from Higher Cosmic Beings. He cannot stay in the Celestial Heliopolis Realm as his body is still mortal, So I decided that he will be sent here on earth."
But in his heart, he was thinking that it was all nonsense, he didn't even know where the child came from, He couldn't even perceive him until he was right in front of his eyes. the moment he saw the child, he knew what to do. it was like someone has placed certain instructions in his mind. It terrified him, you must know that he is the almighty God-king of Helipoitians; even a celestial or elder god can not do this kind of feat.
He calmed his mind and through Bast, he said "Trouble times are coming, the universe is falling in chaos and I perceive that this child will bring us great help in the future. And I am leaving this child in the hands of Bast. The child shall be left alone to his destiny and no one shall interfere either directly or indirectly by Avatars, otherwise prepare for the Ra's wrath."
Khosnhu was about to say something but Amun Ra waved his hand dismissively and said "I summoned you here to inform not for counsel, my decision is final." After this, he left the body of the Goddess Bast as if running from a plague.
The hall was silent, The Gods looked at each other in dismay and Khonshu chuckled "ah this child would have been a great moon-knight, hmm...Pity." and sighed.
Bast glared at him, Khonshu shrank his nonexistent neck and teleported hurriedly.
Every God and Goddess left the Pyramid as if they were never there.
Bast who was left alone looked at the child who was looking around curiously at everything and pondered her next course of action silently.
